Hello All!
So once I reached rank 5, I decided to explore more decks. I came across a silence priest in ranked and I thought, hey, I'll make my own! Sooo few games later, i climbed from rank 4 to Legend in a short amount of time. This is my first deck that I'm sharing on here and I hope you guys will enjoy it!
I went 37-13 from rank 4 and to Legend 22 currently. From the stats, you can see that the deck is really strong against Shaman (mainly Elemental Shaman). The deck is also strong against Taunt warrior. Pirate Warrior is a hit or miss, depending on your starting hand. Quest rouge is an issue if they complete the quest and play it by turn 4 or 5.
It's hard to pinpoint if the other person is aggro or control in the current meta, so mulligan based on aggro.
You want a combination of the following cards in your starting hand for the most part:
- Northshire Cleric
- Humongous Razorleaf
- Ancient Watcher
- Acolyte of Pain
- Silence
- Kabal Talonpriest
If you know you're against a zoo like classe like Warlock, Druid(new aggro druids), or Pally (new murloc pallys), then you would want to try to aggressively mulligan for Circle of Healing and Auchenai Soulpriest combo to clear their board in the early game and win by them having used all of their resources early on.
If you have coin, keeping Purify and Ancient Watcher is a very strong combo.

EDIT:
So the meta is always changing and I decided to change a few cards to the current version i'm running.
Changes:
-1 Acolyte of Pain
- 1 Sunfury Protector
- 1 Bittertide Hydra
- 1 Auchenai Soulpriest
- 1 Kabal Songstealer
+2 Shadow Visions
+1 Lyra the Sunshard
+1 Embrace the Shadow
+1 Mass Dispel
Explanation for changes:
Shadow Visions is a great card and adding two of these has allowed for the other deck changes. Shadow visions allow you to dig for situational cards based on the current board state. You can create another Divine Spirit for when you need a bigger taunt or Embrace the Shadow for when you have Circle of Healing but no Auchenai Soulpriest and need to clear the board.
Shadow Visions also creates the ability to have more potential Silence in your deck, which allowed for room to take away - 1 Kabal Songstealer and - 1 Sunfury Protector (because more minions will be used as big threats instead of defensive targets.
Mass Dispel is specifically teched in for Taunt Warrior. Many times there are multiple taunts in the away and the combo is in hand, so Mass Dispel helps with that. It also helps to free up the other silences in order to save those for your own minions and not have to use them on the enemies.
Lyra the Sunshard is a great card to get more situational cards and because of all of the cheap spells in the deck, it tends to get a lot of value.
If you want to see me play a few games with the new updated deck, I have made a highlight video from a stream I did!

Thk for this deck work very well, i have some problem at rank 5 any suggest for change somethings?
Is Circle/Auchenai inclusions worth it if you dont have lyra? I am looking to refine my list but ego prevents me from just netdecking someone XD
If anything, the circle/auchenai combo is more important if you don't have Lyra.
I am doing really good with this deck ,and i don't even have lyra and the couple shadow visions. I don't know what you are talking about
Nice rank dude.
Chance of not drawing any of the 4 silence-able minions or legendary is:
25/30 *24/29 * 23/28 * 22/27 * 21/26 * 20/25 * 19/24 * 18/23 * 17/22 * 16/21 * 15/20 * 14/19 *13/18 * 12/17 * 11/ 16 *10/15
For those of you incapable of doing probability. (cards left in the deck that are NOT any of your silences or legendaries / number of cards left in the deck in total)
I can put it into a calculator for you too! Even Wolfram Alpha! (25! / 9!) / (30! / 14!)
That comes out to 11/783 or 1.4%!
Well surely this situation will only occur approximately once every 1/64 games.
With mulligan's and going first, we can reduce this problem to the first 9 silence-able cards for first 3 draws (26/30 * 25/29 * 24/28) (23/27 * 23/27 * 23/27 ) first 3 mulligans then first 3 draws (23/27 * 22/26 * 21/25) which results in approximately 25%.
So 25% percent of the time, you don't draw your tempo silence minion by turn 3. (not including cycle/draw cards)
You are way off the mark here. A deck does not become bad because you or any other individual cant play it. I am close to rank 2 now with this deck from rank 5 when I had problems getting there with other meta decks such as quest rogue/warrior.
everyone cant succeed with anything. Simple as that.
You must suck at mulligan
I LOVE JESUS <3
You are a lucky guy if you discover only now that players are playing constructed decks. Did you never met Jade Druid?
Easily pissed off, hate people who netdeck? Boy, Hearthstone is really not your game.
I suck at this!
Loving this deck and trying some alternative card options with a fair bit of success :
Corrupted Healbot instead of Bittertide Hydra
Stats are all important in this deck, and the Hydra is bigger. However, Healbot is pretty large itself and has synergy with Silence effects and Auchenai Soulpriest/Embrace the Shadow.
Radiant Elemental
I've been testing an even more focused version of the deck which drops Mass Dispel and Lyra the Sunshard for the elemental. The deck often plays 2+ spells in a single turn but I'm not afraid to play it raw on turn 2 vs aggro to just buy time.
I'm also currently playing double Embrace the Shadow with no Auchenai Soulpriest in order to improve my chances of cheap board wipe versus aggro.
I'd value some thoughts on these experiments.
As I'm interested into alternatives of this deck (sometimes there is only spells in the hand), wich card did you change for Radient Elemental?
I'm playing as we speak and am currently testing dropping out the Auchenai Soulpriest, Embrace the Shadow and Circle of Healing entirely.
I've also dropped the 5th Silence target (Bittertide Hydra) but this may return.
I'm testing 1 Binding Heal and 1 Potion of Madness. The potion just helps your match up versus aggro but the binding heal is working very well as a way of allowing you to attack with a silenced bruiser but before doubling its toughness. For one mana, you can repair it and also heal yourself for 5 health. Pretty effective.
I'll post a list once my testing reveals which build is my preferred option against the current metagame.
He mentions it in his post:
I've been testing an even more focused version of the deck which drops Mass Dispel and Lyra the Sunshard for the elemental.
Edit: Whoops, already answered
The synergy in this deck is amazing, and it is much more fun than the other popular decks at the moment.
I do however find myself sometimes with no minions and a bunch of spells in my hand... and for some reason I NEVER draw Lyra the Sunshard out of the deck, I had to double check if I had Lyra placed in my deck...
Divine Spirit and Inner Fire work amazingly well with Faceless Shambler, especially when you copy [card]Bittertide Hydra[/card] or Humongous Razorleaf. I ended up with some insane minions with this combo.
It's stupid, a lot of times i get only spells for a long time against zoo decks....
