General Strategy: Use hero power, naturalize, bluegill warrior, claw, and wrath to force your opponent to full field 1 damage minions preferably no taunt. Heal using Voodoo Doctor early along with Farseer midgame and Ancient of Lore late along with healing touch when necessary, in order to sustain/gain health. Innervate + Starfall (Moonfire/Starfire as well) can also set up the board very easily. Naturalize your own extra minions in order to force draw damage and to utilize your own cards. Starfire can also be used to poke down Maexxna's health. And Force of Nature and Leeroy for finishing moves. Leeroy can also be used after removing taunts to keep Maexxna's field full. Questions?
Absolutely not even close to an auto win. The amount of things that have to go right for this deck to win are a LOT. He needs to continue dropping the 1/2 spiders that spawn 1/1s on death otherwise it's impossible for you to out heal the incoming damage. The only time it's a guaranteed win is when you get the cards you need and he plays exactly what he needs to play. Otherwise you will find yourself conceding until that happens.
I don't mean you won't win eventually. Just don't expect to win on your first try. This deck is really good and even if you have a bit of bad luck you should win after just a few. Just wait for for the Nerbubian, Webspinners, and the 1/2 spiders.
You will win on your first try. Naturalize takes care of any minion he plays that doesn't have 1 attack... lol. This coupled with the fact that you start with 30 hp and you also have starfall, starfire, bite, and your hero power to neutralize anything that has over 2 health makes this 100% win. By the way, it is 100% win. All you have to do is play correctly.
Just as a quick supplement, naturalize, starfire, and starfall all work on sludge and anubar. you have 5 heals that can be used pre 6 as well as bite, stackable 2 damages that can accumulate to 6 damage, and your hero power.
This deck TOTALLY works! Awesome stuff!
I don't have a Leeroy Jenkins. But substituting an Arcane Golem worked for me.
Did it my 4th try. Down to the wire, both fatigued, flopped a Cold Light and Ancient ftw. This is by no means a guaranteed win. You can find yourself in a vicious healing loop since that is all you can do to keep up with the minimum 7 dmg you are taking upside your head the entire time. I don't have Leeroy, so taking anything down doesn't fill the blank with a 1:1, which made things pretty sketchy.Still, I tried Priest, Mage, Hunter, even control Warrior countless times it was painfully obvious that Leeroy was the finisher I was missing. Your MVPs with any deck against Maexxna are the doc and earthen, that seems fairly apparent.
This deck works fine (I just replaced moonfire for the little elf archer). Slow down your damages by playing the reccuring heal. Naturalize maexxna's troublesome minions or even your own minions (the 4 cards difference will provide 10 fatigue damages in the end). Fill maexxna's board with 1/1 only (leroy helps a lot since he floods the board with 1/1 and charge into maexxna's defence to create more 1/1 without dying). If you succeed doing this early enough, you should survive. Later vodoo + ancient lore will heal you 7 life points and since maexxna have only have 7 minions 1/1 you are safe. Finish with hero power / fatigue / leroy + force of nature combo.
I guess that's not the only way to go but I beat it 2 times out of 5 tries. I agree it's really tight but the odds are good enough.

How isn't it an auto win? With correct play, you will never lose. Do you need help playing the deck?
Apparently yes, because I've tried 5 times and lost every time. Unless ofc I have the worst card draw ever.
Edit: I think I'm going to try a hunter rush deck maybe, or perhaps a freeze mage... idk..... I have pretty much every card available in the game, maybe I just need to throw in an Alex somewhere.... not sure.
What are your draws? I will walk you through any draw with a plan what you should do.
So, I finally beat it. But, I had to use a mage freeze deck lol >.< I think I went like 0-15 with the druid deck, then I one shot it with some mage freeze deck from the mage forums here. I'm probably just completely sh*t when it comes to druid. It sounds like most people here downed maexx with the druid deck, so kudos and cheers!!! :)
You didn't answer my question. This deck is 100% win. What were your draws? I will tell you how to play anything through turn 10 for a win.
I tried it once and failed because of a misplay. Second time was the good one. All the tools are here ;)

Man, eventually I had all 1 dmg on the board for opponent and i would ancient of lore/farseer and heal for 1 every turn after dmg. Eventually got him low enough where I could double starfire with innervate and fatigue killed him. It was very interesting though.
I had to go afk for 2 turns, still beat him with 4 HP at the end!! :DD TY BRO!
Is there a deck that can beat the lag? Auto-lose against that at the moment...
Of course there is some luck needed... sometimes Maexxna just keeps dropping bigger stuff no matter what
I also used an Alexstraza to drop him to 15 then mill for the win.
Alexstraza can be used, but I found that it increased the cost of the deck too much for people who are trying to do it quickly and cheaply. Leeroy and naturalize give the deck sufficient force to knock Maexxna down without any risk at all.
