With the Year of the Mammoth closing out, I wanted to try ONE last deck idea before some key pieces shuffle out of rotation. It is Dragon Warrior with the Murloc package.

If you are bored of your regular Warrior flavors (Dragon and Pirate) give this deck a try. It's a refreshing new style of Dragon Warrior that has potential huge tempo swings! So far I'm sitting at Rank 3 on the ladder with this deck with over a 60% win rate. I think it has some viability and might even be capable of hitting legend. Who knows.

Some thoughts on the card choices.

I've tried a couple variations using Brawl as well as Ragnaros the Firelord but I found them to be too heavy for this deck. By the time you get them they aren't as useful as having something earlier, so I've instead opted for powerful early cards like Execute and Kor'kron Elite.

No Sir Finley in this deck. Why? Because of Finja. Finley is a great anti-control card and while it can help, I find that it creates too much inconsistency in a deck like this. When you play Finja you want only two cards, Murloc Warleader and Bluegill Warrior. I find the power of Finja is enough to not include Finley.

Grimy Gadgeteer finally shines. This card is so good - it's powerful enough to be a Polymorph or Hex target. Your enemy knows if you get 2 buffs out of it that's a ton of value. Imagine it hits Kor'kron Elite once and you now have a 6/5 4-mana charge. That's awesome and you still have a 4/3 body minion on board. Really good and under-rated card that I'm surprised never hit the meta this expansion. Overall in this deck there are many good targets which makes it a worthwhile addition.

EDIT:

To make the deck more current with standard, I have updated the decklist.
