Hi folks,

This is my latest Mage. I am playing agressive Freeze Mages for a while but lately I managed to add Azure Drake into it. It gives the deck some midgame stability.

67% Winrate from rank 2 to legend. You will beat pretty much everything but lose Pirate Warrior and Reno Mage. Very strong angainst Midrange Shaman, Renolock and Dragon Priest.

Sorcerer's Apprentice + Evolved Kobold + 5 spells deal about 30 damage.

Keep your oponent busy with drops, freeze him and draw cards, eventually burst him down. You will usually be able to deal about 25 burst out of the hand in round 9 or 10.

Mana Wyrm is very usefull to keep the early board clean vs Shaman and Warrior. I think overall it is better than Doomsayer, However it is a close choise. Doomsayer is dicier.

Alexstrasza can be useful especially vs Dragon Priest and Freeze Mage: Both have Ice Block and you might need extra burst. Rather don't use Alex if your oponent is down to 25 health and you think he has healing cards left. In this case it is usually safer for you to simply keep drawing into your burst finish. You can replace Alex by a Doomsayer. If you replace Mana Wyrm by Doomsayer, you will need Alex much more often.

Think twice before using Forgotten Torch. Usually you will need to draw something else but Roaring Torch and it serves you well within the finishing combination anyways.

Apparently Doomsayer + Frost Nova is the only hold in some matches. Espically Aggro Shaman and Pirate Warrior. Alex is too slow currently and often not needed anyways.
