PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT / LIKE / DISLIKE!
Instead of just Disliking my deck, if you could at least also leave a comment (Preferably one that makes sense and is at least slightly constructive) as to why it is you feel the need to dislike it that would be great. As currently I'm getting a lot of dislikes but with generally good feedback in the comments and any suggestions I get, I am looking at and taking into consideration, but just disliking the deck isn't going to help anybody. Plus it helps if you read my whole description before making any kind of comments on the deck or leaping to conclusions.
Also not every deck has to be built the same way, if every deck HAD to follow and meet certain criteria to be 'considered viable' then we'd have a very stale Meta in which nobody would ever find new and perhaps even more viable/better decks than the current ones. Think of it like Evolution, if we don't adapt or change the methods in which we perform or execute our tasks we would never progress, looking at and creating things that aren't considered 'the norm' isn't necessarily a bad thing, and just because nobody has done it that way in the past doesn't mean it wont be better and/or work.
About the Deck
This is the first deck I've ever made; I got the idea when I saw the new Legendary Priest Quest (Awaken the Makers). The deck revolves around N'Zoth, the Corruptor and the use of Deathrattle Minions to trigger the new Priest Quest.
Its win conditions are N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Shadowform (Combined with Coldarra Drake (From Kabal Courier)which could potentially be an OTK opportunity), Fatiguing them to Death, Out-Valuing the Opposition until they run out of threats or get overwhelmed or using Kazakus to destroy their win condition (E.g. N'Zoth, the Corruptor) by mass poly or 6 DMG board clear, plus reviving your own minions.
Deathrattle Minions in the Deck
The Deathrattle Minions included in this deck - shown via a numbered breakdown, so it's easier for you all to see;
- Zombie Chow
- Crystalline Oracle
- Loot Hoarder
- Bloodmage Thalnos
- Museum Curator (Whatever you pick)
- Mirage Caller (Whatever you use it on)
- Deathlord
- Shifting Shade (Chance on Deathrattle in enemy Deck)
- Piloted Shredder
- Tortollan Shellraiser
- Sludge Belcher
- Sylvanas Windrunner
Plus using N'Zoth, the Corruptor Summons them back completing the remaining Deathrattle minions needed if it's not already done by the time you use your N'Zoth, the Corruptor... With a fairly high chance to get another Deathrattle Minion from either the Un'Goro Pack / Shifting Shade, there is more than enough Deathrattle Minions to complete the Quest (Awaken the Makers) and get your Amara, Warden of Hope in good time.
CONFIRMED BY BLIZZARD: N'Zoth, the Corruptor AND similar Minions DO COUNT Towards the Quest (Awaken the Makers) when Played

Mulligan
You want to get any Minions that cost 4 or less in your starting hand like Deathlord, Tortollan Shellraiser and Zombie Chow; Against Aggro you should consider keeping Reno Jackson as it can be the only thing that keeps you from losing to a Pirate Warrior with a really crazy opener.
Against Matchups like Reno Warlock you'll want to try and get Dirty Rat to remove something important from his hand like Kazakus / Reno Jackson / N'Zoth, the Corruptor or even their Dirty Rat.
Sometimes you also want to keep Board Clears in your opening hand such as Excavated Evil or Dragonfire Potion, especially against Control Egg Buff Druid or similar decks.
Potential Card Substitutes
There are a few cards you may want to include in the deck so I'll list a few;
-1 Tortollan Shellraiser People are saying this is a weak minion, I disagree as its only 1 Attack less than a Twilight Guardian which sees a lot of play in many decks, plus is another taunt to help slow down the game against Aggro Decks. You could remove this, but I don't know any other taunts with Deathrattle in the 4 Mana cost slot that aren't terrible.
-1 Ysera This card is pretty good especially when you can keep it up on the board for a few turns, the cards like Dream and Ysera Awakens are seriously powerful and can enable combos like a second Reno Jackson / N'Zoth, the Corruptor, however, it is quite greedy and we do have a lot of late game.
-1 Northshire Cleric This card is quite RNG as to whether or not its useful. The draw can be nice during the game or just to an added bonus in prolonging the lifespan of your minions. However, I think this is removable and can actually be better removing it against control match-ups where you want to draw as little as possible.
-1 Piloted Shredder / Shifting Shade These cards are very good however I feel like the deck may have too many 4 drop Minions, and we have more than enough Deathrattle Minions so I feel it would be OK to removed one of these for another card.
+1 Acidic Swamp Ooze Brilliant against Aggro match-ups such as Pirate Warrior and Aggro Shaman, destroying their weapons can be the difference between staying alive long enough to use Reno Jackson or Board Clears and dying.
+1 Dr. Boom This card is insanely powerful but has it draw backs. Although it summons 2 Deathrattle Minions making completing the Quest mechanic much faster it also lessens the power of the N'Zoth, the Corruptor due to the 2 Deathrattle minions being quite weak and potentially knocking out some of the more powerful minions such as Sludge Belcher or Sylvanas Windrunner
+1 Mind Control Tech This card can be quite hit and miss due to the fact that against an Aggro deck the minions will be so small its almost not worth stealing and against Control deck you get the problem of they may never have more than 4 Minions up at any one moment.
+1 Doomsayer This card is great against Aggro Decks and can help extend the game by stopping them from getting too much on the board early on. It can be added if you face more aggro decks / more decks that cant easily deal with it.
+1 Justicar Trueheart This card provides great value, especially when combined with Raza the Chained, allowing you to keep your minions and yourself alive when under heavy fire. It can be added in favour of another card but I like the extra healing which allows the deck to be a little bit more greedy by enabling us to recover without the use of Reno Jackson or Amara, Warden of Hope
Other things you could play about with are cards like Ragnaros the Firelord, Chillmaw or even Majordomo Executus for some really crazy combos with Amara, Warden of Hope ;)
Click the text below for some crazy combos ;)
40 HP Ragnaros
OTK MindBlast Spam
Thanks for checking out my deck! If you liked it please give it an Up-Vote and feel free to leave a comment if you have any suggestions or just want to give feedback!
Will be Updating the Deck-list as and when new cards are announced if I feel they fit into this deck. Please be patient as I may not update the deck-list for up to a day after the announcement of a new card.
Edit: Added in Dr. Boom as part of the deck and removed Confessor Paletress because Dr. Boom just works better in this deck in every single way, increasing the speed of the Quest Completion (Deathrattle Count). (17/03/2017)
Edit: Added in Tortollan Shellraiser and removed Piloted Shredder as I feel the taunt is better suited to this deck and helping preserve HP against Aggro Match-ups. (17/03/2017)
Edit: Added in Potion of Madness and removed Power Word: Shield as I think Potion of Madness will help a great deal against Aggro and also Control cards like Deathlord. (17/03/2017)
Edit: Removed Mass Dispel, Barnes and Medivh, the Guardian and replaced them with Elise Starseeker, Sneed's Old Shredder and Elise the Trailblazer. (18/03/2017)
Edit: Added in a few cards and removed others to make the deck curve out slightly better and allow greater choice over which Deathrattle minions you can include with Museum Curator, and added more draw with Northshire Cleric. (19/03/2017)
Edit: Removed Holy Nova and replaced it with the new Priest Spell announced; Shadow Visions for the possibility of a second Awaken the Makers or just on demand Board Clears with Lightbomb or Dragonfire Potion. (20/03/2017)
Edit: Removed Elise Starseeker, Dr. Boom and Mistress of Mixtures to make room for Cairne Bloodhoof, Zombie Chow, and Doomsayer. (20/03/2017)
Edit: Added in Holy Nova again, plus Alexstrasza as another win condition / to counter other Awaken the Makers Priest Decks. I removed Justicar Trueheart and Ysera to fit these in. (20/03/2017)
Edit: Removed Cairne Bloodhoof and added Justicar Trueheart back in for the extra heals meaning the deck can be slightly more greedy. (20/03/2017)
Edit: Changed the description slightly and made it make a bit more sense, adding in Amara, Warden of Hope as the card I tagged instead of Awaken the Makers. Also added in some pictures to liven up the description a bit more. (22/03/2017)
Edit: Removed Alexstrasza, Doomsayer and Piloted Shredder in favour of Ysera, Mirage Caller and Shifting Shade. I feel these cards better suit the deck and will perform much more favourably. Especially the new card Mirage Caller combo'd on a Deathrattle Minion. (25/03/2017)
Edit: Added in Shadowform and Kabal Courier for an extra win condition plus the chance of an OTK with Coldarra Drake from the Kabal Courier. Removed Potion of Madness and Justicar Trueheart to make space. (25/03/2017)
Edit: Somehow managed to add in a Mind Control into the deck without noticing. Removed it and put in a Piloted Shredder. (25/03/2017)
40 hp rag is godly.
Yeah that may be so but it will probably never happen and when it does it'll be so infrequent that it just isn't worth including in a serious deck.
Why no Majordomo????
I did put a part at the bottom of the description saying that you could, but since this deck is meant to be viable and not just a "sometimes it may work, ultimate combo" deck (Which is what including Majordomo Executus would make it).
You can add it in should you feel the urge to though!
you should change the deck name to something simple-
my suggestion: "Greediest Priest"
I don't think the deck is that greedy to be honest. It is fairly greedy but with the amount of healing and game extending cards its got I'm pretty sure it will still work well, if it doesn't I can always edit it to make it have more early game. However, since playing a similar version on EU Live (Wild) I was doing just fine, with a probably even more greedy (considering the fact it didn't have the new cards) version.
as a wild player
Tortollan Shellraiser garbage card why would u play this when u have belcher and deathlord
Elise the Trailblazer,Elise Starseeker meta wont slow down to play these. also 2 elise greedy. you already have your win condition as nzoth.
Sneed's Old Shredder, Ysera sneeds too slow and greedy, ysera is ok but again too slow.
Mistress of Mixtures chow is better he can double trade most of times
Dr. Boom best 7 drop but not in nzoth list, boom bots are bad for nzoth. nzoth can miss slyvanas. maybe cairne or shifting shade instead.
Shadow Visions
i hope meta slows down but i dont think so.
Thanks for the feedback! About the Zombie Chow I totally agree I only recently started playing Wild so I've forgotten about some of the ones not in Standard. Dr. Boom I also can agree with that, one of the first comments on this deck was to include Dr. Boom and I made the same argument you did (That the Boom Bots may knock out a Sylvanas Windrunner or Sludge Belcher). I think having both Elise Starseeker and the new Elise the Trailblazer is a bit too greedy like you say and so have removed Elise Starseeker.
In regards to Tortollan Shellraiser I don't think its a bad card. Its only 1 Attack less than the Twilight Guardian and that card sees a lot of play in both Wild and Standard Format. Plus I don't see any other reasonable 4Mana Taunt Deathrattles to include which would help slow down the game against Aggro Deck.
Shadow Visions I feel has real potential especially when you feel you're going to need a second board clear for example, or removal. This is a Control Deck which I think people are missing, and as such it does need some greedy cards like Ysera and Sneed's Old Shredder, (Which is super high value for your N'Zoth, the Corruptor).
For anyone who is unclear on the deathrattle ruling, Dr. Boom and N'Zoth, the Corruptor WILL work for this quest, per Blizzard themselves. Found under the "Clarifications" section here
"The Quest says 'summon' which is means the N'zoth minions count. If the Quest said 'play' then the N'zoth minions would not count."(Mike Donais)
Thank you for bring some actual evidence to support your argument, and showing that I was correct about how Dr. Boom and N'Zoth, the Corruptor work in conjunction with Awaken the Makers.
For those that can't click the link (Doesn't work for me at least) I've included it in the description of this guide and in multiple replies to comments made prior to this one, and I'll include it here for ease of access.

I think I managed to fix the link, thanks for pointing it out
Not a bad theory craft, I do have a couple problems with the deck though. For 1 your curve is way to high, this deck will suffer from inconsistent draws because of that. This just happens when 2/3 of your cards cannot even be played until turn 4. You will have to be lucky with draw in order to survive, Even with all the AOE you will be dead to aggro before you can use it. You may do okay against a slow control deck, but thats a huge problem.
Shifting shade and shadow word horror are just bad cards in comparison to your other 4 card options.
Another problem is the lack of card draw, I know priest doesn't have much but you need some.
Lastly, why are you not running Museum Curator? You even have bronz, I mean he is a great card for this type of deck and would really help out your curve.
Also Dr. Boom's bots do not count towards the quest because you did not summon them, Dr. Boom Summons them.
Thanks for the feedback, I can maybe agree with you about the curve being too steep, although as it says in the description I actually don't do that bad against most aggro decks (Apart from Pirate Warrior with insane starts). That being said I can see that it could be a problem if the Meta continues to get faster than it is currently but seeing as all the cards they have released so far seem to be Control Orientated, I don't think its going to be as big of an issue as it is now with Aggro Decks. I currently play the deck but without the cards from Un'goro which I also say in the description (And what cards I play instead), that's how I'm able to have an in-depth guide on roughly what the deck will be (It can only get better with the newer cards and I'm doing fine without them right now).
I really like the Shadow Word: Horror combo but like I've said before if you don't you can edit it, although should the Meta continue to become more control orientated then I would 100% remove from the lack of times it can be played, but against aggro its insanely strong seeing as most of their cards are 1-2 Attack. However, seeing as this is a predominantly Theory-craft deck and I'm expecting the Meta to become Control Orientated I will removed them.
Your point about Museum Curator is a very valid one, I'll edit the deck and put that in. I'll also add in a bit more draw seeing as that seems to be the consensus of everyone commenting.
Lastly, where is the source of your claim that Dr. Boom doesn't add to the Deathrattle count? If you can show me proof of this I will gladly edit this.Confirmed by Blizzard that Dr. Boom and N'Zoth, the Corruptor DO COUNT towards the quest so your statement is invalid.

haha love the guide when there are only bunch of cards revealed
people who read the new cards unvieled and understand the mechanics of how they work can do this obvously he will tweak his guide when the rest of the cards come. (its not rocket science)
Yeah but I think what he is trying to say is a guide this deep with only 17 cards reveled is a little optimistic. A theory craft deck like this is a theory, so how do you know your guide is accurate if you cannot even test it. Putting an in-depth guide to a deck you cannot even play is kind of foolish honestly, especially when you have over 100 new cards that could make all the stuff he is saying wrong. Its just naive to assume you have in-depth knowledge of how something plays when you don't have all the information.
Not saying your deck shouldn't have any direction or plan but when dealing with a theory craft you should never over plan.
If you read my description though, it says that I have played with this deck, just with a few different cards as replacements for the currently unavailable Un'goro cards. So I do know how it plays and what works and what doesn't. Yes things will change when everyone has new cards and some of which could counter my whole deck, but until then this 'Theory' is still sound in my opinion.
No you haven't played with this deck, you cannot say you played with this deck when the cards don't even exist for it dude. Good try though
was wrong
