Woah! Such insane feedback! Since I have uploaded this deck I've been grinding to reach my new personal best rank, Rank 5. It took a while, but I managed to push through.
You may have noticed I dropped two Darkshire Librarians for a Argent Squire and a Succubus. This is because, as some of the comments suggested, too many discard mechanic cards can be quite hazardous so by adding these cards the deck becomes a little more consistent and you also get an extra demon for Bloodfury Potion and Demonfire
First off I'll start by telling you why Demonfire and Bloodfury Potion are in the deck because I know its a little odd. And the reason why they're in the deck is because if you are going against Pirate Warrior you could end up with a Voidwalker on turn one and be able to curve out and buff it by +2/+2 to increase survivablity against Fiery War Axe and Small-Time Buccaneer. It also works as a great early game small minion removal. As for Bloodfury Potion it is just an excellent buff to help kill Ancient of War and both just work great on Imp Gang Boss.
THE MULLIGAN & STRATEGY
Jade Druid
Against Jade Druid your goal is to gain as much tempo as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. In my experience going second tends to work best due to being able to coin out multiple one drops.
So for the mulligan you are going to want to look for Flame Imp, Voidwalker, Dark Peddler, and of course Imp Gang Boss. Possessed Villager isn't that great of a start against druid but can do work if they useLiving Roots for two Saplings and can kill a 1/1 Jade Golem with ease. Only keep Soulfire if you have Silverware Golem in hand as well.
Miracle/Pirate Rogue
These are by far one of the worst match ups for this deck because of the cheap removal of small minions the Rogue has at their disposal, but if you're lucky you can win.
The mulligan cards you're going to want to look for are Voidwalker, Dark Peddler, Imp Gang Boss, Silverware Golem(only if you have Soulfire in hand), Soulfire (this is for Tomb Pillager), and Malchezaar's Imp.
Pirate Warrior
This match up isn't too terrible as long as you get Voidwalker early and can manage the board along with curving out nicely.
The mulligan cards you're looking for in this match up are Voidwalker, Malchezaar's Imp (this is because it is able to kill Patches the Pirate and Southsea Deckhand with relative ease), Soulfire (this is for a buffed up Bloodsail Raider or a Frothing Berserker), Flame Imp, and Imp Gang Boss.
Aggro Shaman
Believe it or not I haven't run into this deck all that often so I don't know much of what to do against it, just curve out and try to maintain as much tempo as possible.
The mulligan cards probably best for this are Soulfire (for that great card Totem Golem), Flame Imp, Voidwalker, Dark Peddler, and Imp Gang Boss.
All Reno Decks & Dragon Priest
These decks are ones where you have to just destroy their face as quickly as possible in hopes they don't have a board clear or Reno Jackson.
The cards you're going to want most in your mulligan are Flame Imp, Voidwalker, Imp Gang Boss, Dark Peddler, and Possessed Villager
Thank you to kiwiinbacon for the video showcase (:
Proof of rank:
What about Power Overwhelming?
Power Overwhelming ends up not making it into Warlock these days because it's basically just removal, and since most of the meta is low health minions it's not necessary. More of a tech card than anything, if you really think it's necessary maybe Knife Juggler could be swapped out for it?
This deck works great! I went on a Winstreak from 15-8 with my crowning win being a late game win against a murloc pally......I had to burn through about 70 life with him (he got a tick off Light rag, got an 8 heal from white Knight, and he got a 20 heal from the 0 cost healing spell) and survived 3 big board clears. The only change I made was a +1 Tiny Knight, -1 knife juggler for crystal weaver synergy.
the good thing about zoo lock that almost everyone mulligan against you as you are a reno lock so they wont have the inital reaction to you.
8-2 from rank 10 to rank 8. not a big push but I was struggling with most of the slower decks this week. not had a game that I gained value from the 2 weird buff cards and not played against any pirate warriors tho.
this got me to rank 5 :)
Very fun deck and pretty good
I'm sad there is no Fist of Jaraxxus even though I'm sure it's bad lol
just rekt a pirate warrior turn 4 feels good man
What about -1 Argent Squire +1 Forbidden Ritual?
Go for it! I urge you to experiment!
Been having a ton of fun with this deck and I just saw the revisions! Smart stuff, I'll try it out tonight!
Any substitution for Dark Peddler and Imp Gang Boss?
I subbed in Loot Hoarder for Dark Peddler because it seemed Peddler was there for early trades and putting more cards in hand. You could also sub it out for Amani Berserker or Acidic Swamp Ooze for better trades/versatility.
Imp Master seems a solid trade for Imp Gang Boss, but I think IGB is pretty essential to the deck considering its a Demon to be buffed by Demofire and Bloodfury Potion. Dropping IGB for a Crystalweaver seems not a bad tradeoff.
Thanks! These cards will be rotated and i'm saving dust for un'goro
Are you guys playing in like some retarded kids school server? 70% winrate? HA! More like 35%. Jesus the deck is fine for what it is but stop with the BS and lies. It's not going to take you to legend and loses out to jade decks and aggro shaman like 10 to 1. Reno mage can pick it apart also.
If it's any consolation, after 117 games I had a 56% win rate.
deck barely breaks 51% and is shit on by most of the meta. Now some can get higher depending on match ups but as a whole the deck is just bad.
The actual best decks in hearthstone did have better 56% win rate. I prove my point with pirate warrior at 65% and undertaker hunter at 85%
Hunter did in season 2 my dude with naxrammas. It was undertaker hunter with a 2 mana starving buzzard and call of the hounds with hyena. It was the strongest deck in hearthstone history and the developer said it had around 85% winnrate which is why they hard Nerfed starving buzzard. At least try to find background before you argue. I was wrong about pirate warrior with it only being at 56%. I was thinking a specific deck and not the archetype as a whole.
Sorry had it swapped around its 58% which proves me wrong. I guess I'm dyslexic.
