This deck started as a way to try to use the handbuff mechanic with Hunter - not an easy proposition like it is in Paladin.  Since then, it has gradually been morphing into a beast token deck.  Scavenging Hyena has been the latest addition, and while it already gets a lot of use with the current design, it's making me want to try other beast totem synergy cards like King of Beasts, Unleash the Hounds, and even Alleycat.  I'm afraid if I go too far that way, though, that it will just end up being overkill, and suffer as a result.

Powershot is essential for early game, especially against pirates.  Try to mulligan for it.  Explosive trap works too, just don't hold off too long to get greedy.

Try to maximize the effects of your handbuffs.  There's a fairly good mix of non-beasts, beasts, and spells, so it's not too hard to control where the buff lands.  If you have two beasts in your hand competing for the buff, play the one you don't want to get it first if possible.

Remember that Houndmaster works great with Rat Pack.  You don't just have to handbuff Rat Pack to get it to pop for more rats.

I found that Starving Buzzard + Rat Pack feels a bit like pre-nerf Buzzard + Unleash the Hounds.  Just wait to play the Buzzard until you're ready to pop your Rat Pack or Savannah Highmane or Infested Wolf.

EDIT 1.8: I took out one Powershot and replaced it with an Unleash the Hounds, and I dropped Call of the Wild for Knuckles.  The whole time I've played this deck, I've never had cause to play Call of the Wild, and Powershot sits unused in my hand during a lot of games.  Knuckles, on the other hand, synergizes perfectly with the handbuff mechanic and Houndmaster.  And of course Unleash the Hounds is broadly useful, especially with Hyenas and Buzzards.

EDIT 2.2: This is the final version of the deck on the day before Un'Goro went live, so there is a single Volcanosaur in there due to the login reward.  The rebalancing and the addition of the Kill Commands gives the deck some longer legs to seal the deal toward the end of the match, and Alleycats give the Hyenas some more lunch.
