Hi there!

This is my first deck, with which I have been fidgeting around because, coincidentally, two quests in a row had to do with good 'ol Gul'dan and friends.

So, first things first: what the hell (see what I did there?) is this deck about? Well, it is a Demonlock as the archetype suggests, although it is not like some of the others I saw which had the Reno-mechanic (as long as it wins it will be hyped, I think).

This deck's goal is to pray on the slow decks (such as Buffadin, Tempo Mage, Druids in general) by building pressure with the winions.

How to play:

  1. Try to Mulligan a Flame Imp and a Voidwalker. Stuff like Demonfire can help you against damage spells, while Shadow Bolt is ok against minion-based decks.
  2. Turn 1: get the Flame Imp. If you are second, you can try to read the field and your hand) and either coin the Voidwalker or the Malchezaar's Imp.
  3. Turn 2: normally either Succubus or Hero Power. If you get a Pirate Warrior as an opponent, maybe coining the Felguard is not a bad idea.
  4. Turns 3: keep up the pressure with either Shadow Bolt'ing a minion, or Bloodfury Potion one of yours (+3/+3 is scary af with only 3 mana and huge things). Alternatively, you can Felguard the field and keep on bringing that damage with your other(s) minion(s).
  5. Turn 4: a Crystalweaver is expected on the field, having pumped up one minion at least (better if he is protected by a Taunt).
  6. Turn 5: maybe combo kill with Bane of Doom or, if it feels right (if you forced hard removal on a minion previously), get a Doomguard to do his business.
  7. Turn 6: normally summon the Kabal Trafficker or Siphon Soul a threat.
  8. Turn 7-end: keep on going until you either get him or perish while trying.

It is likely that this deck shall bring you from Rank 1 to Rank 25, but it is really funny when people do not expect the unexpected (Zoolock, Renolock, Inserthereashortnameforanarchetypelock).

FAQ:

  1. If you have 5 dis-cards (discarding a total of 7 cards). why don't you have Silverware Golem? A: From my experience, the probability of having only him in hand when playing a dis-card is rarely >50%, thus I have found myself having to actually pay for the guy, neither a demon nor a heal guy, which does otherwise not fit into the archetype.
  2. Why 2 x Siphon Soul and not 1 x Blastcrystal Potion? A: With Felguard also here, losing two mana crystals heavily slows down the deck; besides, healing here is paramount, even with the 3 x healing cards.
  3. Are Kabal Trafficker and Bane of Doom worth crafting? A: No. Most of the time, they spit low mana minions that are garbage in late (sorry Flame Imp); sometimes they do spit game-winning (or at least scary) minions tho: all but once I won when Bane spat out an Illidan Stormrage and at least 50% of the times the Trafficker gives me a Lord Jaraxxus, I win.
  4. Shouldn't you add a Lord Jaraxxus? A: Yes, but at the moment I am saving my precious dust for the next expansion, which I hope brings cards to support Krul the Unshackled, making a version of this deck actually higher than Tier 666 (lolz).
  5. Does this deck actually work? A: Well, I did farm 200 gold in 2 consecutive days using solely this deck by spending around 50% of the time it has taken me with other decks (and only two AFK's). I guess getting a stream of noobs or lousy decks might have helped a bit, then again, it happens quite often. Once I lost badly to a fully golden Freeze Mage, but it would be shameful to lose to such a cheap deck when all your cards are golden.

I am open to suggestions, criticism (I used to play League of Legends, thus I am impervious to salty players and made an empire of rock salt retailing) and further improvement.

Cheers!
