Mulligan Guide: General Drakkisath is an RNG-heavy fight and you should not be surprised if it takes you multiple tries before you beat him. You can keep just about anything for your mulligan, but I've found that if you have something like Emperor Cobra at the start you can force him to use his removal spells immediately. It's also good if you can start with a Resurrect or Onyx Bishop so you can keep bringing back whatever gets killed.
In this encounter you have to accept that you're always playing from behind and it's very hard to get ahead. You'll want to kill every single minion he plays, because otherwise he can overwhelm you in a turn or two. One of the most broken cards he will play is Sprint. He will often cast it, then draw one of his Twisting Nether and blow up everything. After he has used both his Drakkisath's Command and Twisting Nether it is alright to be a little more reckless in your casting decisions.
You'll find that he often fills up his board very quickly. This can be used to your advantage and you can punish him by casting Lightbomb. Of course, it doesn't always work when he has a Boulderfist Ogre, Force-Tank MAX, or Hungry Dragon on the board, but most of the time it's the best option for a board clear that you have.
I've had numerous battles where General Drakkisath used every bit of removal in his hand and hit me with both Kidnappers before I could even get any kind of foothold, so don't get discouraged if you are having a hard time against him. There have also been several times that I have killed every one of his minions and taken him to fatigue.
You'll be glad to know that you can play this deck without any of the Legendary minions listed, but they make things SO much easier (especially Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound). That card is able to put you on even footing with General Drakkisath since you can match how many minions he puts out each turn. If you'd like to try something different, then you should look over some of the other top decks below.

The deck looks, but unfortunately I don't have Deathwing and Y'Shaarj so I successfully used the recommended warlock deck (see the deck notes part on the current webpage) instead
Thank you for the guide and video! I could tell this one would definitely work from watching your video, since you play these bosses straight through until you reach at least five wins. Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound seems vital to this deck for consistency in winning. I didn't want to craft him, so ended up using a Majordomo Priest deck and somehow got lucky and beat him.
This is the more sound deck idea though, as after I beat him I have been unable to replicate my results, while yours can be replicated as you show in your video.
I had all the other legendaries, but wasn't quite ready to spend the dust on Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound although I may still -- pardon the pun -- "bite the dust" one day and craft him. :)
