Intro;

Hi again people. I wanted to make another druid deck for new season. This is kind of ramp/token druid feat. Fandral Staghelm's choose one tricks.

It's pretty strong in current meta. We have double Feral Rage, double Druid of the Claw, a Moonglade Portal, two Ancient of War  to counter those aggro pirate decks (war, shaman, rogue).

We also have Ragnaros the Firelord, double Arcane Giants and Yogg-Saron, Hope's End (aka the RNG Lord) to counter more controlish decks.

Lunar Visions is the Only MSoG card that fits this deck. While 2 card draw is useful when we miss Nourish, it's also good for reducing minions cost for 2* since we have some big ones. Turn 5 Lunar Visions - Turn 6 Ragnaros the Firelord is fun enough.

I may create a detailed guide if this deck draws good enough attention. Good luck for now.

General Mulligans;

You are first to go; 

 

You got The Coin;

 

 

 

 

 

A little tip; don't play Living Roots against priest if you are going first, it's useless, better to keep it to use as 2* damage.

Replacements;

First of all you just can't replace Fandral Staghelm, he is one of key cards here.

 

You can't replace Arcane Giants neither.

 

Also keep in mind, replacing other legendaries will also reduce your chance to success with this deck.

Climbing Proofs;

Ok i climbed from rank 19 to 16 playing this deck. I will share a screenshot for each rank i climbed. Right click and open in new window for bigger resolutions.

 

Here's first one. Owned another Jade Druid and got rank 16 atm;

 

Defeated a Pirate/Miracle Rogue and got Rank 15 now;

 

A win against a Renolock got me to Rank 14;

 

Defeated a Pirate Warrior and got rank 13 now;

 

Defeating a Reno Mage moved me to Rank 12;

 

Won against another Pirate Warrior and became a Rank 11 Big Game Hunter;

 

Owned a Dragon Priest and got Rank 10 now. Climbing easily;

 

Defeated another poor Pirate Warrior and got Rank 9;

 

Another Pirate Warrior and another new Rank. Got Rank 8 and climbing;

 

Ok i got some time to play and climbed to Rank 7 after defeating another Pirate Wrr;

Revisions;

10.02.2017: Removed a Living Roots and Soggoth the Slitherer. Added Baron Geddon and Ysera.

 

While we aim to use our mana crystal gain cards asap, we don't need 2x Living Roots that much. Soggoth the Slitherer fits this deck but i found two Ancient of War do the job.

 

In current meta even two Swipes are not enough to take board control. So i wanted to add Baron Geddon and he does really well. Especially against shaman boards. If you don't have him you can add a Starfall instead. Ysera on the other hand is just amazing. Her spells helps Arcane Giant, Yogg-Saron synergies. And also Ysera Awakens can clear boards completely and Nightmare helps to finish opponent off.

 

 

15.02.2017: Made some meta changes. I liked Ysera at first glance but EU meta is still so fast and i had to remove her. Baron is still useful but while shamans can have 4 minions even on turn 2 or 3 i found mind control tech more useful. Anyway still trying to find perfect list so we may have more changes inc.

 

20.02.2017: Added Baron back. He's useful for more aoe. And removed 1 giant, 1 is enough in current meta and added another Moonglade Portal instead. 6 drops are perfect.
