Stun the meta with something different. This powerful, yet unexpected, silence priest deck I've been testing has a very high win rate and is also fun to play. The meme value is also extremely high!!!
This deck is not for beginners -- it's hard to play and very rewarding when you pull off some neat tricks your opponents just won't see coming!
Just briefly, I'll mention the powerhouse combos - if you guys like the deck, upvote and I will write a guide at 25 upvotes.
Wild Pyromancer + Acolyte of Pain + Northshire Cleric + Circle of Healing: Use some or all of these cards in combination to simultaneously clear off your opponent's 1 or 2 hp minions while drawing a LOT of cards. Use Emperor with a full hand to get some insane value.
Eerie Statue + Kabal Songstealer: This turn 4, turn 5 play is INSANE and gives you 12/12 worth of stats on turn 5! Your opponent will be scrambling to use all his hard removal (or else he just dies).
Barnes + Silence: Use barnes to pull out a 1/1 copy, then silence the 1/1 token to get the full stats of that minion. Use with Icehowl or Eerie Statue for maximum effect. Potentially 13/14 stats for 4 mana. Suck it, shaman. Statistically, I'd say you have about a 50% chance of a "dank pickup." Never play Barnes without a silence available in hand.
Icehowl + Silence + Divine Spirit + Inner Fire: Icehowl is such a cool card, I like it more because it's so bad. Play it on turn 9 to clear a minion, then the following turn: heal, silence, divine spiritx2, inner fire and 1TK your opponent. They won't see it coming.
3 biggest misplays to avoid with this deck:
1. Buffing Eerie Statue/Icehowl BEFORE silencing them. Workaround: Always silence first.
2. Overdraw/Burning Cards/Going full northshire. Workaround: Count your cards in hand before playing cards that draw. Ask yourself if your opponent can make you overdraw. NEVER go full northshire.
3. Miscalculating Wild Pyromancer damage. Workaround: Always plan your wild pyromancer turns carefully before you spend a single mana crystal. Power Word: Shield combos great with Wild Pyro... I usually do this first to see my options, then plan the entire turn. If you're going to kill a friendly minion with Wild Pyro, make sure it attacks before it dies.
Let me know if you have any comments! Good luck!
Cards under consideration: Ancient Watcher, Faceless Manipulator, Greater Healing Potion, Kabal Songstealer x2.
Lol I'm winning against current meta decks with this. xD
dude i am gonna sell so many cards for this build lol
Also was wondering why is Auchenai on your deck? am I missing something? Thanks.
If I don't have Icehowl?
You could try ragnaros/ysera? It needs to be a late game threat (for control matchups) that is also a good Barnes target.
i will try man. Nice..ahah
