Proof of Legend Here
Aggro Shaman is with out a doubt one of the strongest decks in the game but many people play it wrong. I think I can offer what I have learned from my climb to #1 and of course do a little bragging :).
Many people see a 1 drop and keep it because it's cheap. But it's important to mulligan for specific one drops that are good in your match-up and don't forget that other cards like totem golem, jade claws, and flame wreathed faceless are easily game winning and should be kept in some match-ups.
Southsea Deckhand is a one drop that does summon Patches the Pirate so you would think it would be great, but If you summon it on turn 1 against another pirate deck then all they have to do is play a pirate and trade in their Patches the Pirate and you're left with a mere 1/1 on the board and your opponent has the tempo.
Southsea can be kept in combination with Spirit Claws and Jade Claws to take advantage of the charge and it can be kept against reno decks if you have Flametongue Totem for the purpose of countering Doomsayer.. If you play Southsea Deckhand on turn 1 and then they play Doomsayer, Flametongue Totem enables you to kill it.
A 4 mana 7/7 turns out is pretty good. Especially against the classes that hae a hard time dealing with it. Renolock has only Blastcrystal Potion, druid has only Mulch and the occassional Naturalize, renopriest only has Shadow Word: Death, renomage has only Polymorph.
However doing nothing until turn 4 is not going to be good enough to win most games so it's important to realize when the perfect dream curve isn't going to work out and you need to try for 1 drops.
It's also important to realize that this card can completely lose you the game in some matchups. for example versus rogue they can play a minion and Preparation Sap and now they have the board and you're overloaded for 2 mana.
I'll go more in depth If the deck gets enough attention :)
Boring to play, but it's power cannot be denied.
id prefer faster games to long ones so i dont mind this
Thanks for the write up, but what do me do if face plays taunt?
Still go face
Much innovation, such contribution to HS development, wow
your response is as smart and original than this deck
Shit
almost
I think Aya Blackpaw is better than a second Azure Drake, but deck is worth to climb ranks and have positive win ratio vs Pirate Warrior.
do you really need mcfinley for the deck like is it playable without or?
Please save the negativity for your personal lives. I will write some more once I get enough questions so I have a good idea of what to write about. Thank you for making me top page :). As for the chiv's comment that was a very well worded criticism however I do believe this is the best version out there and the ability for your opponent to read your hand is not a huge impact (because its still nearly impossible to do) and it doesn't matter when your cards kill them anyways
So everyone else runs two drakes in aggro? No? Everyone explains the subtle issues behind two of the key cards in the deck? No?
Didn't think so, but thanks for your ever so positive contributions to the Hearthpwn community, Mr. 666.
Yes this deck is cancer to most people yes it is extremely aggressive, but you need a deck like this to keep other decks in check.
It works pretty well on the ladder currently so it does have a place of its own. I recorded a video showcasing the deck, take a gander at it if you got time :P
6:19 Missed Lethal :((
CANCER !!!
Sup guys, I have been playing similar aggro shamans for quite a while so I decided to show some footage of it. Imo you can learn some basics about it, although I am not sure about everything and there are still questions that I am not able to answer and I wonder if someone can (mostly about the 7/7 in mirror matchups + pirate warriors etc.)
Thank you for watching ! Consider liking or upvoting or even subscribing if u liked it :)
See ya
I achieved legend for the first time in my life with a similar deck to this - in fact i wrote a story about it...My Legend Story
Loyan played this deck for a long time and now after 999999 years some turd post it... wow...so fresh
deck is ok...the jade package is nice but it does lose pretty bad to mage and warlock......better builds exist. The build is super cookie cutter so any decent player can read your hand by what you are playing thus getting much value on ladder is subjective.
