Total Deck Rating

Hi everyone, im a regular wild player and this month i piloted this deck to legend (it was my first time legend). I only played this deck from rank 16 to legend, It does great vs aggro and also crushes most of control decks (except jade druid, but in wild isn't that popular).
First of all, this deck don't run the leeroy combo, instead i play a more orientated control deck with Krul the Unshackled and N'Zoth, the Corruptor. N'zoth is so much better in wild with cards like Deathlord, Sludge Belcher and Voidcaller and of course the mighty Sylvanas Windrunner.
In the other hand is Krul the Unshackled, this big guy is insane with Mal'Ganis and also there are a lot of great demons in the deck that are super valuable by themselve. There are 6 demons in total: (Imp Gang Boss, Voidcaller, Abyssal Enforcer, Lord Jaraxxus, Krul the Unshackled and Mal'Ganis, getting at least 3 big demons into play in 1 turn is huge, also there are matchups were you dont want to become Jaraxxus because the risk is too high (like vs freeze mage, the leeroy renolock, some matches vs aggro shaman) and playing him with krul or cheesing him with Voidcaller is super worth.
Now some general mulligan and tips:
General:
Always keep Reno, except maybe in mirror matches and vs control priest, is the card that will open you the gates of the late game.
VS aggro:
The goal here is slow the game the most you can, you want reno, your 1-cost minions and AOEs. Only keep a early taunt in mulligan (deathlord or second time bruiser) if you alredy have reno and an AOE.
*Zombie Chow is the best anti aggro tool in the game, it can trade 2 1-cost minions or deal some damage to a 3-4 health minion to prepare a demonwrath/hellfire next turn.
*doomsayer
*Acidic swamp ooze
*Demonwrath - Hellfire are the game defining spells most times, allways keep at least one.
*Kazakus, the card that make renolock shine again, you can play him in turn 4 to get a 5-cost spell or in turn 5 for a 1-cost. We want armor and AOE, this guy can win you a lot of games.
*Darkbomb is great to deal with Ship's Cannon or trogg/flametongue totem, always keep it.
VS control:
Here the main goal is to tap all you can to prepare a good emperor and play your huge midgame minions.
*Emperor
*Lord Jaraxxus only vs priest and control warrior, is the win condition in these matchups and drow him late can loose you the game.
Legend proof
Any Un'goro updates for this deck?
I'm currently testing spiritsinger Umbra (amazing card for this deck) and the new elise cutting zombie chow and PO but I'm not sure yet (mostly about elise) and I'm playing in low ranks right now... Next week I will have more time again to play a lot and I will update this for sure.
Glad you enjoyed it, I think the deck needs an update but I was short of time to play last month (I barely played since the nerfs), so if aggro is less prevalent you can go for more greedy choices like doomguard, and cutting zombie chow for dirty rat is a great choice too like the good servexx stated below.
The thing I don't like about doomguard is that he is super krul dependant in this deck, discarding 2 cards may ruin your game so badly that you almost never will play him from hand, but is great to play krull with mal'ganis and a busted doomguard. I will try it when I have some time and update the list. Hope you continue climbing the ladder!
Very cool deck. I was looking for something like this and crafted Krul the Unshackled to try it out. I have been looking fora good deck to play Mal'Ganis + Lord Jaraxxus A couple of questions though:
Why is Brann Bronzebeard in here? Seems like more deathrattle minions than battlecry minions. Only card that has awesome synergy seems to be Antique Healbot but we already have reno. I know Kazakus synergy is useful too, but you said that Kazakus is best used on turn 5. What are Brann's synergies? I would rather run another demon like Void Terror (I love its effect).
Why no Leeroy Jenkins? Seems great for the burst combo with Power Overwhelming / Faceless Manipulator combo.
Finally, and maybe most importantly for me personally since I don't have the card, how important is N'Zoth, the Corruptor? Is it essential? It seems like there are already so many late-game answers in this deck. Is it overkill? Win more card? Does this card win a lot of games? I can proably dust some golden class cards i don't use to get the required dust... but, i want to know why it is going to make my life happier. Any suggestions for replacements? Ragnaros the Firelord?
Side question, why isn't Krul the Unshackled in the standard renolock?
Had a lot of fun in wild with this deck last night (minus N'zoth). I ran into an Aviana-Kun the Forgotten King-C'Thun Druid last night. I thought I was doing really well when I dropped Krul with 4 demons including Jaraxxus on turn 10. But, then got mowed down by a ridiculous burst combo that would have killed me even if i had 45 health. My opponent used a panda to play C'Thun twice in one turn.
Really fun change of pace. I might try to climb wild ladder with this deck next season if I can figure out how to play it more consistently. Love the demons!! Thanks for your thoughts.
I play this deck -1 zombie chow + dirty rat (Double rat pull into clear), so braan synergies are double kazakus vs control - double healbot for 16 heal is huge vs aggro - 2x enforcer for 6 dmg clear(this clear has won me the game a couple times) and then the lesser ones - double drake hp - double nzoth cast, say if u only lost 3 deathrattle minions they would be cast twice so you would summon 6 minions. (Do double reno for bm :) lol ) Braan is a decent drop vs aggro as its pretty much a 2/4 taunt, can just cast him in that matchup and hope they dont clear into ur double kazak - or if they clear then thats 4 dmg off ur face, might buy u 1 extra turn to draw into reno or a taunt and win the game.
Leeroy can work, but you would need to swap 2 slots for him and faceless - up to you.
Nzoth is essential, wins games outright or at least gives you a big advantage. Must have. No replacement - dust some trash legendaries and epics to craft him.
Mal ganis is not in standard, thats prob why it doesnt see as much play - from voidcaller you want to pull malganis or krul from ur hand to gain a huge turn 5 advantage - Jarrax can be a good pull too vs some classes.
Deck is very viable, i hit legend with it 2 seasons ago - Of course since its the start of the season use zombie chow from rank 16-10 or until you face more midrange and control.
Hope this helps.
Thanks that helped me.
I just crafted N'Zoth, the Corruptor on your advice. If throwing down N'Zoth is half as fun as Krul, then I am all in. If it wins more games, better. Thanks for the thoughts on Brann synergy. I didn't think of the drake and hadn't had the opportunity to use him on Abyssal Enforcer yet.
I am taking forever on my turns mulling over card card choice, but i've had a lot of success and fun with this deck even without N'Zoth. Lot's of fun, deeply strategic games with choices that feel important.
Thoughts on Sense Demons?
Oh i always wanted to give an use of Sense Demons because it was one of my first golden cards and i love the animation and the idea behind it but right now is too slow, maybe if the meta slows down a little after the incoming nerfs it may work, i will give it a try for sure.
What exactly is Power Overwhelming used for in this deck? Is it there just for the Sylvanas/Shadowflame synergy?
Also, what are your thoughts on Blastcrystal Potion?
PO is a versatile spell and this deck have a lot of synergy with it. It can also give some extra burst to finish off or just trade/shadowflame, but i mostly use PO in my sylvanas to steal a big minion, the fact is that you want your sylvanas dead, n´zoth isn´t that strong withouth sylvanas and sometimes you dont want to take the risk (like vs priest entomb, mage sheep, midrange/control shaman hex, or even another renolock with sylvanas PO). You can replace it with Mortal coil if you want.
Blastcrystal Potion is a good option but is a dead card until late game and this deck have a lot of late game power and removals. I tryed it last month in the place of shadowbolt to tech vs shamans 4 mana 7/7 and when i can use him it screwed me so hard because losing a mana crystal earlier vs aggro is huge, you need that mana to stabilize.
Thank you for the response!
Doomguard is ok when he came from a kazakus potion but it's too situational to give him a place in the deck, you will never want to play him from hand, it´s simply too risky. The reason why krul is good in wild is because there are better demons that are good by themselves and also 6 demons are more than enough.

This deck is fun, but Secret Paladin says no.
Secret paladin is a tough matchup but unless they have a perfect start is not that hard, just dont pop their secrets until you have an answer and use your boardclears wisely. Also sinse MSOG there are really few SP in ladder.
how about replace the deathlord with dirty rat?
Deathlord is better, dirty rat is useful only vs control decks. You can drop deathlord in turn 3 vs aggro and you know it will give you time because they have to kill him to summon a minion (and it have 2 more health than the rat). Also it comes back with n'zoth. If you have a n'zoth board with deathlord + Sylvanas if your opponent use a massive boarclear like equality consecration or twisting nether you steal the minion summoned by the deadlord and that put a lot of pressure. If you like dirty rat you can try cutting the shadow bolt maybe but idk if it's worth.
Great list, gonna try it as soon as I craft Mal'Ganis.
If you enjoy playing wild craft him, is one of the most unique and fun cards to play and also is op in krul decks.
I like this lista lot but why no more healing? Is healbot alone enough vs aggro? I would try It today. Thanx for sharing!
Well there is also mistress of mixtures and believe me, you don't need more than that. In an earlier version I have refreshment vendor in the place of shadowbolt and it wasn't performing so well. Vs aggro you spend a whole turn healing 4 life and playing a 3/5 witch they will ignore and letting him a full board to punch your face... 4 extra life don't make the difference if you can't deal with his board. In turn 4 you want to play a boardclear or kazakuz or even voidcaller to gain tempo and stabilize. Also there are a lot of great taunts (bruiser, deathlord, belcher) that will force him to trade. I was performing really good vs aggro with a WR >70% vs shaman and warrior. The really tough aggro matchup is egg druid because you need all the answers really early before soul of the forest come up, if you don't draw them not even reno can save you.
