SHORT INFO ABOUT DECK

8 hours ago i was scrolling decks from pro-gamers, watched matchups, played ladder a bit with dragonpriest(i dont really like ranking up, so hit legend in one-three days after rank 5, lazy). Then saw that i face really many shamans/warriors/rogues and decided to make renomage deck. Actually, that took one minute, i randomly picked cards, which i saw in different renomage decks to stop pressure of aggro decks. Think i've done right.

 

THE GUIDE

Firsly, i want to explain card choice a bit:

Emperor Thaurissan  idk why i picked that, but had intuition to take it insted Second-Rate Bruiser. The deck is all about good curve and sometimes it needs low cost Firelands Portal, Flamestrike and others. Btw i had a match, when i beat rogue on turn 10 with Azure Drake + double firebals(1 from torch) = 10 mana. Its not too good versus aggro, but you might also face a lot of rogues on rank 5+. Anyways, don't mulligan it, you know (:

Alexstrasza is one of our win condition against every deck, cause we have a lot of burn in a deck. Also it can save your life sometimes. 

Ethereal Conjurer. i saw this card really seldom in other renomage decks, because most times everybody use Cabalist's Tome. I'd say, tome is useful, especially against aggro. Firsly, you can play it with Brann Bronzebeard, secondary: you have a choice to pick MAGE spells, which are op most times. You can get second Ice Block and many many other good situatuional stuff. Its extremely good. Also you have a minion with very high attack so it has to be removed, or you can get punished, cause the deck has great 6 turn Blizzard

Frost Nova also a very rare card in renomage decks. Its great not just because of combo Doomsayer + Frost Nova, its great, cause it gives you a free turn against aggro. you can play it on turn 5 and ping something, than play blizzard or volcanic potion, it depends on situation, but its really good card. Also against rogue, who can play kleef 8-8 on turn 1-2 it gives you a turn to play polymorph

MULLIGAN AND MATCH GUDIES

Against most popular decks, cause played this deck not really much, i mean, you see how many matches i played on screen.

EVERY SHAMAN DECK

If you face shaman, its 70% aggrojade, 29% - midrange/jade and 1% control.

Firslty, against control you just need to keep Polymorph for White Eyes and go for mass hex from Brann Bronzebeard + Kazakus

So, the mulligan against every shaman

Doomsayer, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Volcanic Potion, Frostbolt, Arcane Blast(with Bloodmage Thalnos its op 4 dmg for 3/4 Totem Golem), Babbling Book and OF COURSE Reno Jackson. Sometimes you want to keep Forbidden Flame, Forgotten Torch, Mind Control Tech, Kazakus or Polymorph if already has a good start. Hex for 7/7 Flamewreathed Faceless.

I highly recommend you don't keep Dirty Rat, because you can get Aya Blackpaw or 7/7 unless its necessary.

MC Tech is extremely good here, because shaman plays like zoo warlock right now, spamming creatures on the board and totems/jades.

Most times he can deal 30 dmg, but we live, because of Ice Block or alex, or reno. Matchup is all about controling the deck, then kill him in 2-3 turns.

Try to get AoE + Armor from Kazakus if using it on turn 4, then take 5 mana spell, you know.

Also don't forget about +8 health turn 7 bran bronzebeard + Refreshment Vendor

Tunnel Trogg - very high prio to kill. 

Also dont forget to kill totems > than jades, because he can roll spell damage totem, which can rekt us sometimes. 

 

 EVERY WARRIOR DECK

99% - pirate warriors. 0,5% - dragon warriors and 0,5% - control warriors.

Mulligan is the same as against shaman

Matchup was very hard for me, because it really depends on your health. You need to live untill you can alex or reno.

Also its really important, when to play Acidic Swamp Ooze. I'd recommend to use it, when opponent has 4/2 upgraded weapon, or 5/2. Situational.

Try to get AoE and armor, or Freeze + Armor from 5 mana kazakus potion.

Frothing Berserker - highest prio to kill

Turn 2 Doomsayer is ok, if he has double 1/1 on board or 1/2 + 1/1 Stonetusk Boar Kappa

AGAINST CONTROL

Its all about drawing cards. If you have a good curve - don't use your card draw, just discover with bran, shuffle Kazakus with Manic Soulcaster, be prepared for legendaries from golden monkey with mass hex or something like that. Most times you kill CW with burn+fatigue damage.

Be aware of 12 damage combo Grommash Hellscream + Cruel Taskmaster

ALWAYS keep Acidic Swamp Ooze for Gorehowl

Be aware of double draw, so 3 minions on the board - FeelsGoodMan

 

UNPREDICTABLE ROGUE

Its a very hard matchup and it really depends on your skill, cuz freeze spells are very important here. Just mulligan early removals for his 1/2 + 1/1 pirates, then try to get removals for 4 health minions.

Be aware of huge Edwin VanCleef, so keep Polymorph. 

Dirty Rat is one of your win condition to break his Leeroy Jenkins + Cold Blood combo or Gadgetzan Auctioneer

Be aware of Leeroy + 2 coldblod + 2 evis + weapon attack= 6 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 1 = 23 dmg. Just be attentive how many cards he already played. 

Azure Drake high prio to kill

Be aware of Conceal, so keep flamestrike turn 7 after he hided his gadget

 

 

 DRUID

ez lose, but i won 1 time, cuz faceraced him

really hard to beat, because of jades 10-10+

Get mass-hex from kazakus to try:D

 

 PRIEST

Also unfavor matchup

Just keep early removals and try to play Dirty Rat with bran, cuz he has many BattleCry minions

Also try to Frost Nova + Doomsayer if one Shadow Word: Pain

Get AoE or mass hex from Kazakus

I ALSO RECOMMEND TO MULLIGAN Reno Jackson

 WARLOCK

Very easy matchup if you have answer for his early big minions: Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake, Its very important to kill them immediately, cuz he can play Faceless Shambler

AoE/Deal 8 dmg from Kazakus

Save Acidic Swamp Ooze for Lord Jaraxxus

Try to get more burn from discover and force him to play Reno Jackson as fast as possible with alextrasza

 Can't write a guide for mirrors, cuz i lost 0-1
