A deck that is either capable of beating pirate warrior and control decks. Shadowcaster included to be able to beat control decks with more jades from the Spirit or Raptor and aggros with more removal and draw coming from SI:7 Agent and Bloodmage Thalnos. Have fun!
EDIT#2: Put Brann Bronzebeard instead of one Ooze - the reason is that I stopped facing pirate warrios. Also testing Aya Blackpaw on the spot of one Argus - it's incredible stronger against renolock and dragon priest.
I have to mention one thing that is pretty important - if you guys don't face aggro warriors a lot like I did (right now it seems they fleed away - i faced none during last 14 matches) or face shamans/pirate rogues, necessarily swap both Acidic Swamp Ooze and one Defender of Argus for Brann Bronzebeard, Aya Blackpaw and one Undercity Huckster. It will heavily improve your win rate against control decks.
OK, so here you are! The guide:
Let's go through the favorable and unfavorable match - ups for this deck so you guys know exactly what this decklist counters and against which struggles :) I'll explain it further after.
Favorable:
Pirate Warrior, Demon/Zoolock, Buff Warrior, Buff Paladin, Pirate Rogue, Midrange Shaman, Control Warrior, Reno Priest, Midrange Hunter, Buff Hunter, Beast Druid
Slightly Favorable:
Reno Mage, Jade Druid, Tempo Mage
Even:
Face Shaman, Dragon Priest, Control Shaman
Unfavorable:
Renolock, Jade Rogue
So now we know what to expect on the ladder - you shouldn't be astonished if you lose to a normal jade rogue that fully commites to the board but is much worse against aggro :D Anyway, I will now write my thought about most important of these match - ups and how to play against certain opponents :)
PIRATE WARRIOR - Starting with the biggest cancer is not an accident :) I figured out this deck while thinking how to beat this warrior type while still being able to win other confrontations (for example Buff Taunt Warrior can easily beat pirates but it loses to most other top tier decklists). You have to look out for Backstab,SI:7 Agent and Acidic Swamp Ooze. Also try to get as early as possible to Defender of Argus and then copy it (if possible) with Shadowcaster (pirates dont clear board so it's as easy as taking a lollipop from a little child :D
BUFF WARRIOR/PALADIN/HUNTER - First two of them are pretty slow and this makes them extremely vulnerable to our deck. You almost can't lose this match-up untill you get a really bad draw. Very important thing to remember - Sap makes a huge difference here. It not only ruins your opponent's tempo but also destroys a buff on his minions. Hunter is a little bit tricker tho - but no so much. Sap his Rat Pack and Savanna Highmane and he is done. Same as earlier, search early game removals while mulligan.
MIDRANGE SHAMAN - I have a pretty good winstreak against this one (6-2, but atm 4 wins in a row). You can keep one Eviscerate if you go second and also Bloodmage Thalnos with Backstab to get rid of his Troggs. Keeping Acidic Swamp Ooze is a great idea as well - Shamans do play at least one weapon :)
RENO PRIEST - Patience plays a big role in this match - up. Dont overextend as he will punish you withDragonfire Potion. You can easily win even if he Renos! Just consistently play jades. Brann makes a huge differnce in this match - but remember they can have Cabal Shadow Priest. Drop on the board when the Shadow Word: Pain is already used and you dont expect Cabal to show up :)
JADE DRUID - Victory comes effortlessly as long as they dont have a perfect hand. If they do, you are totally.. in trouble ;) I would rate this duel as 60 - 40 for the rogue. The most important factor here are jade golems! KeepJade Swarmer and Unearthed Raptor in hand and dont hesitate with dropping minions on the board - they rarely have much removal.
FACE SHAMAN - Well, a really tough one. If they go first with Trogg --> Totem Golem --> Weapon -->Flamewreathed Faceless you are done. But if you manage to sap Faceless and keep the board for yourself then he has almost no way to come back - Face Shamans don't playLightning Storm :) Keep Backstab, Small-Time Buccaneer and Agent as you never know whether it is a control shammy you are going to battle or a face one :D
DRAGON PRIEST - This is all about the start. The one who has a faster one wins. So just keep Small-Time Buccaneer, Raptor and Jade Swarmer.Backstab is usefull too - that card is just amazing ;) Always remember about Dragonfire Potion while playing this match - up.
RENOLOCK - Oh, you surely dont want to play against this one! It's just so tough to win versus this guy. Saping his Twilight Drake will only make it bigger, Hellfire and Demonwrath will deal with you early drops while Twisting Nether can clear your board out of the most powerful golems. My stats against Renolock are currently 3-5 and I won those 3 by smashing his face in a damage race. Seriously, that might be the only option. Always keep no more than 3 minions on the board so he doesnt know whether to AOE or not and try hitting his face as much as possible, You have some nuts option to fnish him with Eviscerate, Jade Shuriken and Agent.
JADE ROGUE - Not much to say. They are board - oriented, dont run as many anti - aggro cards as we do and therefore have a higher chance of winning. Of course you still can win, but you have to start more aggresive and just faster than he does.
Hope you guys appreciate this! Ask if you have any questions and I will try my best to answer! Give your own opinions and thoughts :)
EDIT: It does pretty well against pirates, at least for me. 5:0 WR against them untill now (screens from the phone).
I have been messing with this deck for a while, since I miss too many cards to run the current version of miracle or N'Zoth and I have to admit that it is pretty fun to play.
However, I always found Shiv very awkward to play without reilable sources of spell damage. So I swapped both of them and a Sap (or a SI:7 Agent if I find too many big taunts on the ladder) for two Southsea Deckhand/ Swashburglar and Patches the Pirate. It helps a lot against slow decks and goes toe to toe with those running the pirate package.
WTF? Is this Polish?
Defender of Argus! That is the card I need. I am running my own version of Jade Rogue, and I have one vacancy. I realized that I needed a Taunt minion or something that would heal/protect, and that is the exact card I need! Thanks for the idea!
Replacement for Thalnos ?
Kobold Geomancer is a typical poor replacement for Bloodmage Thalnos.
Same mana cost and fits in the cheap Spell Damage +1 category, so easy to include before a spell and combo activator. But loses other extremely important feature: drawing a card on death.
EDIT: Don't get fooled by its tiny stats, it's a must have Legendary, one of the most versatile of them all.
I actually like running the Lotus Agents card. It opens up the potential to get more jade cards.
Any advice vs. Freeze Mage? Mulligan/Strategy
Huh, freeze mage. Haven't seen those in MONTHS. But, I do know one thing. Their goal is to stall the game until they have enough mana, so dont try to mulligan for extremely early game minions, but don't mulligan for your biggest drops either. Go for any cards that summon jade golems, so by the time they have all the spells they need, you'll have strong golems to kill them with
I'm trying to play around with this list cause I personally would like more draw power. Maybe making it more deathrattle and nzoth?
Hey I assume based on reading your guide that shadowcaster is not replaceable but even so, congrats on the deck, looks very fun to play :)
This deck is good yo
brought me from rnk 20-15 with 70% not bad... the decks i lost to were jade druid and OTK druid and a hunter
Judging by graph like this

Jade rogue is getting rekt in current meta, how do you respond to it?
This deck is just p-e-r-f-e-c-t! It has card synergy, fast plays, nice removal, nice aggro, but still some defense and it's really fun to play. Congrats on it and keep up the good work this is by so far deck that i enjoy playing the most! Also a guide would be really nice, but i saw that you are posting it this evening, so.. great.. :)
No prob. bruh.. As long as you make decks that are as good as this one, you are going to hear a lot of that :D
What about putting there Aya Blackpaw ?
