Boring intro (you should probably skip this)

Hey guys!!!  I've been playing on the ladder with a variety of decks trying out the new season but I seem to struggle playing a variety of decks when climbing.  Example:  Getting wrecked playing Jade Druid when I hit 6 pirate warriors in a row on ladder.  (hint thats not a fun matchup for the druid.)   I love the new Dragon priest but don't like some of the matchups and feeling frustrated after a couple of losses I decided lets make a new deck.  I wanted a deck that could stand up to the early aggro of the pirates as well as have burst potential to OTK all those pesky Reno's as well.  I could play druid but I didn't want to craft some of the legendaries in order to create a OTK deck and I also felt that it would lose to hard early on to pirate warrior.  My next thought turned to a reno priest with Prophet Velen or just a plain Prophet Velen deck in order to OTK the opponent but that involved getting to 10 mana and having all the combo cards in your hand and getting them discounted with Emperor.  No, I needed something new, innovative, something no one was playing on ladder and therefore wouldn't expect the one turn burst potential to come flying out of nowhere to kill them or something that had the tools to deal with that dagnabbit pirate warrior!  Then it occurred  to me...  Wait a second...  Priest has another OTK combination...  Divine spirit and inner fire!!!  I immediately began crafting it and after several run throughs have a version I am in love with.

Goals of the deck (you should probably read this)

What this deck aims to do is take early board control with your powerful dragon minions.  It can apply pressure very quickly vs any midrange or control deck or contest the board with powerful buffed dragons vs your aggro matchups.  If you are against aggro matchups then you mulligan hard for your twilight whelps and wyrmrest agent.  If you get control of the board which you should in most cases you win.  Pretty easy matchup and pretty straight forward.  You DO NOT try to set up the OTK combination against aggro.  Use these cards to make good trades vs enemy minions and board.  inner fire is not very useful in this matchup but divine spirit on a taunted minion becomes very tough for aggro to run through.  This deck is very favored vs pirate warrior and most aggro decks.  Vs. control or midrange decks you want to to get your minions on the board early on and apply pressure.  Keep making good trades and chipping away at their face all while building your own side of the board.  Don't reveal divine spirit or inner fire too early.  Remember we are trying to OTK kill them and if they see either of these cards then we lose the element of surprise.  You should only reveal them in certain situations like if the alternative is trading your whole board into a single big taunt minion or if you know that your opponent has no way to deal with it.  If all goes well you kill them before they hit their late game with a huge amount of burst mid game.

Thoughts behind some of the card choices:

Northshire cleric:  Originally I wasn't running them and I had Netherspite historian in but Netherspite is a little bit slow for this deck and we honestly REALLY REALLY need the card draw that the cleric can provide.  If we can't find our combo cards then this deck becomes much harder to win with.  Northshire cleric provides the extra draw we need to help deck through our decks.

Kabal talonpriest:  Run this instead of Blackwing technician.  It has one less health but doesn't need a dragon to activate and helps give our minions more health in order to make them even bigger for our OTK combo.

Priest of the fiest:  This is the most replacable card in the list.  I am just running it because it has a high health bar for only 4 mana and I didn't know what else to put here.  This could easily be substituted for more card draw like an acolyte of pain and I may make that switch at some point myself.

Kabal Songstealer:  "But wait!!! This isn't a dragon either!!!" you might say.  And while not being a dragon Kabal Songstealer provides the silence necessary to go around problematic minions in your opponents deck such as taunts.  It also is a 5/5 body for 5 mana which is nice and doesn't need a dragon to activate.  I'm not sure if this card is core or not yet it's possible you could sub this out.

Conclusion:  This deck is a lot of fun to play but I'm not sure how competitive it will be.  I love the early pressure of the dragons along with the OTK combination but sometimes you just can't get the combo pieces into your hand in order to kill your opponent, that being said it feels amazing to burst your opponent for 20 damage in a single turn for 3 or 5 mana when they thought they were completely safe.  A very fun deck and also very budget friendly!  No legendaries required and has some solid potential!  Let me know your guys's thoughts below and lets improve this deck together!

Update:  I switched out Priest of the feast for Dragonkin Sorcerer.  It's another dragon and 4 drop that helps empower our minions as well as getting even larger with spells cast on it such as our OTK combo.  :)
