Handlock

Handlock is the name given to the control warlock sub-archetype that revolves around Mountain Giant,and Twilight Drake,this deck was once a tier 1 deck untill they nerfed Molten Giant a very big part of this deck back then,and because of it,the deck disappeared to be never seen again,untill now,with the addition of Bloodreaver Gul'dan,the deck has steadily seeing more and more play.This deck is very weak tempo wise but its late game power is amazing.

Basics

This deck is based around forcing your opponent into not being able to do anything by denying his board with board clears and taunting huge minions such as Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake that get huge value out of your hero power,this deck also runs Mistress of Mixtures and Earthen Ring Farseer to counteract your heropower's downside and Bloodreaver Gul'dan to close out the game,as well as Alexstrasza to heal your own hero or counteract you "deffesiveness" in the early turns.With the arrival of KFT,many tools have been given to this deck,such as Defile and Drain Soul(both complimented by Tainted Zealot)

This Version Of The Deck

As i've already said,with the arrival of KFT,many tools have been given to warlocks,and to include them,many cards had to be removed,such as Humongous Razorleaf and Defender of Argus,you can still play them in your deck,but its not optimal,and as this deck runs Bloodreaver Gul'dan as it's lategame finisher,we have to run demons like Despicable Dreadlord,Bane of Doom and Abyssal Enforcer,i'm also playing Tainted Zealot over Bloodmage Thalnos as the Defile "helper",because warlock already has enough draw.
