Your strategy is easy - Fill board with tons of beasts, buff them, destroy enemy hero!
If you want repalces, mulligan or something like that, write to comments :)

Muligan - No coin
Vs. Aggro = Alleycat , Kindly Grandmother , Quick Shot
Vs. Control = Alleycat ,Dire Wolf Alpha , Freezing Trap , Trogg Beastrager
Muligan - Coin
Vs. Aggro = Alleycat , Crate , Eaglehorn Bow , Animal Companion , Quick Shot
Vs. Control = Alleycat , Crate , Dire Wolf Alpha , Kindly Grandmother , Trogg Beastrager , Rat Pack , Animal Companion
Why that cards, possible replacements:
Sorry, im stupid and forgot one thing : If you have beast in hand, keep Smugglers crate - Everytime :)
Alleycat - Its something like Living roots, but better... You get 2 tokens with beast synergy :)
Smugglers Crate - This card is really good, i think. Your beasts have many combos with it - Rhyno, Rat pack, Kodo :)
Dispatch Kodo - Really good Midrange card, when buffed, it can destroy big minions or deal huge damage to face!
Eaglehorn Bow - Is it worth, with only 1 secret? Yes, i think. You have 6 damage for 3 mana. Its good in early game, because you can trade smaller minions and get board!
I dont have Kindly Grandmother - Replaces?
Is really hard to replace this card .... Its just ... STICKY. Your opponent dont want beast on your side of board, but he dont want to break 1/1 beast and summon 3/2 beast... Usually he must remove it with Hero power + Card or 2 cards.
So replacement .... Maybe Huge Toad.
I dont have Quick Shot - Replaces?
I dont think there is replace for Quick shot ... Its just GREAT card! I really dont know, how to finish your opponent without it.
So replacement ... Maybe another Unsheash the hounds or Explosive Trap
I dont have Rat Pack - Replace?
Rat pack is similiar to Infested Wolf, but with better value ... So wolf is replacement.
Matchups:
Jade Druid - You need Tempo and good early game. Druids dont have board good clear, so you can overwhelm board with beasts! Just play really SMORcy.
Matchup: Good
Mill Druid - Wheres problem? SMORc! Infinite hand!
Matchup: Very good
Midrange Hunter - Well ... They have similiar deck like you, so try to stay aggresive and make valuable trades :)
Matchup: Neutral
Reno Mage - I really dont know, if someone is playing this deck - My score is ... 0-0
Matchup: Who know?
Freeze Mage - When you have good early game, they cant stop you :¨) There are only 2 minions, you want trade - Acolyte of Pain and Emperor Thaurissan. Just go SMORc, dont get punished by Flamestrike and keep spells for final burst :)
Matchup: Good
Buffadin - If you beat "First buffed wawe", you are OK. Use spell to destroy their buffed minions, make sure they cant get "Infinite value" from Divine Favor
Matchup: Very good
Dragon Priest - Thats hard matchup... They have good board clears and good minion synergies... Try to be agresive and compel them to trade your minions - And hope you can destroy them
Matchup: Kinda bad
Reno Priest - Theyre playing like Dragon priests, but they have some worst cards, so you can beat them easily.
Matchup: Good
Rogue ( Malygos, Miracle or Jade ) - Pretty easy matchup, they have no heals, no taunts.... Just kill them :)
Matchup: Very good
Midrange Shaman - Make sure you trade Trogg, use Freezing trap to Totem golem... Sometimes trade totems, because Thunderbluff Valiant
Matchup: Kinda good
Jade Shaman - Well, thats harder... They play like Midrange Shamans, but later, you get punished by Jade golems... Your strategy is = Dont let them late game
Matchup: Bad
Zoolock - Easy matchup, they cant beat you... Your Alleycats, Hyenas and Kodos just rekt em :)
Matchup: Very good
Renolock - Dang! This matchup is just bad... They have board clears, healing ... You must SMORc them before they can punish you ( Turn 8 - 10 )
Matchup: Very bad
Pirate Warrior - You have good hand = Theyre RIP... They have good hand = Youre RIP
Matchup: Neutral
Here is deck showcase by Kadakk, check it :)
the deck is in the section -ish around 50/50 win rate
p.s. let me see you see this https://youtu.be/ZJYHKehQuV0 :D
So i have a question.. Was seriously thinking about adding Knuckles and i thought he might fit instead of 1 Dispatch Kodo
Seems to me like the most logical replacement, any advice?
Also i've thought about Barnes and Ragnaros the Firelord but i think it just breaks the synergy. Maybe only 1 Rag instead of Savannah Highmane ? Dont know, could use some advices on this one guys...
Overall a nice and fun deck to play, thanks alot man! :)
Great guide! Do you have any replacement suggestion for the Kindly Grandmother?
Can King's Elekk work?
How can I replace rat pack before I craft it?
use infected wolf
THX but I crafted it already:) I dissed medivh and Moroes
Hezké, nějaká jiná náhrada za Kindly Grandmother než Huge Toad?
This is not a midrange deck, this is aggro.
Midrange = Disguised Aggro.
When u say "Im playing Midrange Hunter" sounds better then "I play Face hunter"
So Midrange Hunter
Midrange and Aggro are different archetypes. The one deck that was truly borderline was the midrange shaman pre-MSoG.
This deck's curve stops at 6 and only has two 6 drops. It's aggro.
Subbed in +1 Leeroy -1 Crate
Call me crazy, but I'm really benefiting from running 1 Starving Buzzard (it sticks easier and gets a lot of use imo) and 1 Unleash the Hounds, because I don't have Quick Shot. Defo wins games against Reno decks.
I also dropped 1 Savannah Highmane for Ragnaros the Firelord.
Wouldn't a Timber Wolf be a better bet than a Dire Wolf Alpha ?
No because Dire Wolf has more health and you do have a few non beasts in the deck. You could try it out and let us know though but 1 health is just so easy to remove
Hi guys! I have made a video featuring this deck, kinda fun though ! The first game has the ideal scenario - a lot of smorcing, no trading and good top decks. The second game is not as good as the first one... a lot of healing and a lot of stuff that a good smorc would not like to see :( .
Thank you for watching in advance!
Been playing a similar style. If you are hoping to try this deck, I would advise against it unless you really don't care about ranked. It's good fun when you can play it well, but some days you will play for hours and hours and just fluctuate between two ranks.
For this particular list I think all the buff cards are too slow. Yeah, getting 3-4 damage Kodos are nice, or getting more initial Rat Packs w/o Houndmaster, but truthfully it's just too random and takes away from the one thing hunters needs most: board.
Instead of Smuggler's Crate, I would run two Fiery Bats and Huge Toads instead of Troggs. These cards allow you to take the board and are actually decent against Pirate Warrior. Instead of Zippy, I am still experimenting. Animal Companion and Unleash the Hounds are both good, one for getting a much needed taunt against Aggro or a buffer for Rat Pack/Dispatch Kodo and the other for activating Hyena (best way to win, imo).
Another option worth trying out is Forlorn Stalker. If it even hits two minions, then it's a more immediate and spread out version of Zippy. Only downside to him is that he cannot hit Dispatch Kodo.
This deck doesn't do well against most decks in this meta unfortunately. Good try though!
Gave this deck a try without Rat Pack (one of the few MSG non-legendary I don't have even a single copy). But Infested Wolfs are doing a fine.
Crushed a couple of disgusting scumbag face warriors, but it was mostly due to perfect mulligan and on spot draw order. Without that, still very hard to deal with the blitzkrieg inflicted by the pirate reich! But at least I have a chance to play, not just watch them facing, like I was doing with Jade Druid.
But overall, and most important, I'm having fun with it despite being doing around 50/50 with it.
Bad deck, easy -3 rang from 9.
