Total Deck Rating

This has, by far, been the most fun deck I have ever played in Hearthstone. Its a Midrangy/Aggo deck. You're usually winning by turn 8-10.
With everyone trying out and refining their decks, it seems to be working particularly well.
Mulligan for Argent Squire, Smuggler's Run, and Loot Hoarder
Don't get too greedy with the hand buff cards. A 2/2 Argent Squire is great tempo for 1 mana. No need to wait till it's a 5/5.
This is a come back deck. You can have a strong early game, but if not you can have a really strong mid-game. Dropping 3x 5/5 Doppelgangster on turn 5 is huge, and not that hard to pull off. Get the board stable (you don't need total control of it) and push their hp into Leeroy Jenkins / Argent Horserider + Abusive Sergeant ranges. Nobody expects to go from 20+ hp to 0 in one turn from a paladin.
I've made a few tweaks to the deck.
-2 grimstreet marshals -> + 1 brann bronzbeared + 1 consecration.
-2 loot Hoarders -> +2 novice engineers.
-2 acolytes of pain -> +2 divine favors.
-2 Blessing of Might -> +2 Abusive Sergeant.
The added battlecrys of the engineers and abusives help give more value out out of brann. Plus an extra body to buff over using mights.
More reliable card draw. I kept getting tired of my acolyes getting removed without damage, priests stealing my loot hoarders, and having to play unbuffed marshals. If you don't draw any cards vs a control deck you lose.
These changes seem to make the deck a bit more consistent. Still not too fond of divine favor in the deck, especially 2x. But not sure what else to put there for card draw. Ideally everything will be dying during your opponents turn, so solemn vigil usually won't be discounted and its a horrible top deck.
it's a fun deck but difficult to make it work in the current meta, went 1-6 at rank 5, also Divine Favor is nice against control decks but awful against aggro decks becomes a dead card in many much ups
I threw together this deck this morning, and so far it's been an utter blast. What I like most about this is that, more often than not, it isn't difficult to control the board. So far I'm around 75%, and the only notable losses were against Jade Shamans who drew the nuts, and a Tempo Mage with 5 perfect topdecks in a row (no hand at that point). I'm glad you posted this deck though, and it will be fun to see how I can push it.
I'm not sure how you like to pilot it, but most games I've used the same style of opener - Mull hard for a Smuggler's Run or Grimestreet Outfitter, hero power early, and react to their playstyle. That allows me to get a little more value out of a buff card, and I can choose my options for how to win. I tend to hold my powerful cards for later-game plays (when the opponent is forced to use up valuable removal), so that a Tirion or Wickerflame isn't hexed. Against aggro I tend to play on curve, and against control/midrange I tend to favor value.
Thanks for the wicked deck!
I've played 18 games with this deck and won 12 starting at rank 13. I did make some adjustments, I use 2 Meanstreet Marshals In place of Wickferflame Burnbristle & Second-Rate Bruiser and lastly I use Faceless Manipulator instead of Don Han'Cho.
My reason for the changes are largely simple, I don't have Don or Wickerflame, however, I would most likely use them if I did and I'd recommend them if you do have them.
My reason for dropping the Bruiser is that I was able to outpace the pirate warriors in my games, but I acknowledge it's usefulness.
In regards to replacing Don; Faceless and Blessed Champion do basically the same thing however even though the handbuffs the Faceless may receive are not going to be applicable, having the tool to split the damage from your beefed up charger onto two bodies allows more flexibility with the same end result, tons of damage.
How to win aggro pirate warrior using this deck. 0-3 so far. too many warrior out there
trash deck agaist all the aggro....
Thanks, this deck is awesome and Brann Bronzebeard fits it perfectly. Brann Bronzebeard + 5/5 Dopplergangster is huge, wow!
I don't have Don Han'Cho so i replaced it to Grimestreet Protector and it's working. :)
Its not you. The deck is just bad m8.
Hello guys, how are your games with Buffadins? Paladin is my main class in HS and WoW but I am really struggling with my midrange buffadin. I was on rank 11 and I've dropped to rank 17. Now I'm back to 15 but that's just bad! I've crafted a shitload of legendaries to use in a Buffadin deck, Ragnaros Firelord, Wickerflame, Don Han'cho, Leeroy Jenkins and I already had Tirion and Raggy Lightlord. Currently I am using 2 Acolytes and 2 Marshals for card draws. I don't trust divine favor, but sometimes I really need it against Control decks which tend to have a shitload of cards in their hand. But when I swap one DF with an Acolyte I don't need the divine favor. I am able to win most reno and dragon priest decks, since I've figured out their tactics but still. Rank 16 with a full Buffadin deck is shit.
Yesterday I crafted a Dirty Rat to use against aggro decks like shamans, and pirate warriors, and I am using a Shieldmasta too. Both were really helpful, I can now compete with them. I am using these taunts along with Defender of Argus, Wickerflame and Tirion.
I big problem is that I don't know in which order to use Tirion and Lightlord, let's say if I am down to 12 hp and I have them both on my hand and the opponent has 3-4 minions on deck. Some times this is the reason I lose. If I heal with RAggy he just overwhelms me and skisp Raggy and goes face, or if I use Tirion it's the same shit!.
I am not using Grimestreet Protector anymore, and only one Keeper of Uldaman. I tried using Spellbreaker but he was too slow. As for 1 mana cost cards I use 1 Mistress and 2 Marshals. Argent Squire was removed.
What do you guys think? And how do you go early game on?
How the hell do you slide from 11 to 17?
I dont think its the deck m8
Wow this is such an old post. No worries Im on rank 5 now hahah
fun deck for dailies for sure. thanks for putting this up. hitting them with a 12 attack leroy brings back miracle rogue thoughts
Horrible deck went from rank 10 to 12 with it. Zero wins
PROOF?
This deck just doesn't work for me. I find myself dead before i'm able to play any buffed minions, shamans and pirate warriors stomp me with ease. I wanted Paladin to be viable so bad, but i'm afraid he takes the place of the preupdate Priest - Dead.
any replacement for Wickerflame Burnbristle?
Craft him mate, he is a solid card for this deck. Even in worst case scenario you will drop him unbuffed on turn 2 with coin or 3 against an aggro deck.
Or you can use him to soak up a polymorph or hex before you use Tirion. Or if he is buffed he will give you a shitload of health!
Not the same effect and not always a 3-drop but I replaced him with a second Second-Rate Bruiser. I would love to have Wickerflame Burnbristle but I've spent so much dust and cannot afford him at the moment. Second-Rate Bruiser worked out well.
any replacement for leeroy
Argent Commander
