This deck is made to build up for a one hit KO at round 10, using Alexstrasza and Prophet Velen.

You want to have the early board control, which means that Northshire ClericCircle of Healing(Keeping this will give opportunities to both heal up your minions for card draw, or potential board removal with the Auchenai Soulpriest) and Injured Blademaster is the identical hand without a coin. If you start with the coin, you can go for a Wild Pyromancer or a Power Word: Shield.

Removal is important and is first priorety at all times. Make sure you save ONE Holy Smite for the final combo. If against a zoo deck, save your Auchenai Soulpriest until the enemy has developed a dangerous board. If against giants, save your Auchenai Soulpriest and two Circle of Healing for as long time as possible, until you hit round 8.(The round before the combo start) Against other decks, put your Auchenai Soulpriest out as a controlholder or as a board clear(depending on the scenario).

Alexstrasza your opponent at round 9, since it is made to control the early game you should have a fairly clear board and a possibility to deal atleast 1 damage extra next round. At round 10 you go for the Prophet VelenMind Blast and Holy Smite.

This deck is a remake of the deck: Curse of Velen(Combo Priest). Which is a deck made for the new expansion called Curse of Naxxramas. With that being said, this deck is far from as optimized as the Naxxramas version and I suggest only using this to get an idea of what the Naxxramas deck will feel like.(How the combo works and what not)
