So, it turns out, Moat Lurker is amazing. Before you laugh, hear me out...

My favorite deck since Whispers of the Old Gods came out has been a deathrattle rogue that I put together myself. It's quite fun, but lacking a bit power-wise. While looking through the new cards from One Night in Karazhan, I realized that with a couple of minor tweaks Moat Lurker could do some amazing things in this deck. Things such as...

Kill your own Sylvanas Windrunner (either already onboard, or played on the same turn, made possible by coins from Tomb Pillager) to steal a minion, then getting that Sylvanas Windrunner back when Moat Lurker dies.

You can also use an Unearthed Raptor to copy the deathrattle on your Moat Lurker, giving you an extra Sylvanas Windrunner when it dies. [Just for reference, this does not work with Faceless Manipulator, because the way it's "copy" mechanic works is slightly different. You would end up with a duplicate Moat Lurker, but it's deathrattle would not produce a minion (Thanks to Disguised Toast for that bit of science)].

Kill an enemy minion, then Shadowstep Moat Lurker. This not only eliminates the drawback, but also gives you a 4 mana Moat Lurker, making the above combo easier.

Late game it can be used to kill an otherwise useless Loot Hoarder to draw a card and get your Loot Hoarder back.

Use an Unearthed Raptor to copy the deathrattle from Cairne Bloodhoof, Moat Lurker the Unearthed Raptor to get a 4/5 Blaine Bloodhoof for the extra bit of damage.

There are many little plays like this that make this deck insanely fun to play. And they are not oddball corner cases, stuff like this comes up every game.

As for the rest of the deck, it is loaded with removal and some decent early game minions, so it handles aggro very well. Whatever you do, do not try to add Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Many of your cards return a card to your hand when they die. You will always have a very full hand. That's why Emperor Thaurissan is in here, he will hit 7-9 cards every time. Try not to leave out Xaril, Poisoned Mind. His cards are extremely useful (especially Bloodthistle Toxin, which is basically another copy of Shadowstep).

Without question, this deck is very tricky to play. It requires you to think plays through thoroughly, think a few turns ahead, and be able to make creative combos. The Undercity Hucksters also guarantee that each game is unique and offers new and interesting possibilities. If you are just getting slaughtered, the problem is almost certainly that you haven't quite gotten a feel for it yet. I've been playing it mostly around ranks 5-10 and winning around 60% of games. To be honest, many of those losses are due to me not being able to resist showing off one of the combos instead of making the best play.

If enough people are interested, I'll make a more detailed guide. I can definitely tell you that this deck does extremely well against aggro shaman, and holds it own against the current version of midrange hunter (and the Cloaked Huntress version as well). Anyway, if you would like to see a detailed guide, give this a "like" or leave a comment. Have fun!

Edited to add N'Zoth back in.
