Hi guys, my name is "N0ob" (yes, for real :D), an Eu player.

Today i would like to show you the deck i used to reach legend this season (29).
I did it in less than 2 days from rank 5 !

First of all, sorry for my english, as it is not my first language :)

Winrate was (from rank 7 to 69 legend) 71%

You can see some proof of me reaching 69 legend below :

So, what's the point of this deck ?
First : flood the board with minions. You have to know when you should trade and when you should not (because face is the place).

Second : When your oponent take control of the board (usually at turn 5-6, it depends), time to burn the crap out of him by using your insane and crazy spells !

Why Stormforged Axe ? because it trades very well with all the secret keeper and other flame imp that are played at begining of each game :D

10 upvotes = basic matchup guidelines :

Mulligan : always look for 1-2 drop minions. The only time you can keep feral spirit is when you're on coin, and can play a 1 drop on turn 3 (because 2 overload). Minions > spells. You need early board control. But there are some exceptions that i will mention below !

Priest : Easy matchup, always prevent them from drawing, you'll need to kill their 1/3 cleric ASAP ! Then, always go face, unless they play a taunter that needs to get killed.

Mulligan : rockbitter or lightning bolt can be good to kill that annoying cleric on turn 1.

Rogue : Easymatchup, just trade when you have to, feel free to overextend since they have a hard time dealing with flooded board. Most of the time, you'll just have a to go face.

Shaman : Worst matchup, you need to keep board control. If it's a midrange shaman, their lightning storm will REKT you hard. Smorc him as fast as possible while making good trades on board.

Mulligan : Rockbitter or lightning bolt can be good against turn 1 trogg, espacially on coin by playing your trogg and then coin + lightning bolt on his trogg

Warrior : quite easy. The idea is to smorc them as fast as possible before they play Justicar on turn 6. Then, just burn his face with spells.

Tips : watchout for THEIR mulligan. If they don't mulligan, be sure that they have their waraxe. Better coin out totem golem on turn 1 even if you can play a trogg. Trogg wil come turn 2 while you'll be smashing his face 3 damage (totem golem).

Mulligan : i liked to keep earthshoke, because of armorsmith or any other taunter (they have a LOT of taunter...)

Paladin : easy. Just play arround consecration. Do NOT trigger their secret. Just smash their face before turn 6, then your spells will finish the rest. The only minion that needs to be killed is the secret keeper turn 1. Of course, you can always trade if it's an UBBER mega good trade ;) Just be careful to not trigger any secret.

(against other kind of "control / Nzoth etc..." paladin, try to put some pressure on board, at any cost. Their 20 hp heal doesn't matter if you immediatly deal 20 damages back in their face next turn)

Mulligan : Stormforged axe is a must keep, because it prevent their secret keeper (turn 1) from becoming out of control. Feel free to coin the axe out. If no axe, keep lava shock, rockbitter, or lightning bolt.

Zoolock : Trade, always trade. Make good trades. When you feel like you'll lose the board soon, SMORC. Remember : it is USELESS to make good trades on turn 4 if you'll lose board control on turn 5. Just smash his face and be ready to finish him with your spells.

Mulligan : Always keep Stormforged axe, NEVER KEEP DOOMHAMMER (i know this card is great against zoo, but 5 mana !!!! You'll be dead before playing it). If no Axe, keep lava shock, lightning bolt, rockbitter. But the axe can trade 2-3 minions, this weapon is just insane against zoo.

Mage : easy, even freeze mage is easy. Just smorc their face.

Mulligan : something to kill the mana wyrms !

Drood : usually easy. Smorc him before his turn 6-7 (because he'll drop taunter). Feel free to flood the board. Trade spell damage minions (because swipe will REKT you the hard way). If you manage to flood the board with powerful minions, he's dead, 100%. No way he can recover. Do not forget, do not leave minions with 1 hp. Play arround swipe !!!
Hunter : VERY easy. The only way you can lose is by having the worst hand ever. Just make some good trades at begining. Be aware that the hunter will get the board under control arround turn 5-6. Smash his face before turn 6, and finish him with your spells. EASY i said :)

General Tips :

  1. Always smash face if you think that you'll lose board control soon. It is pointless to make good trades if you'll lose the board next turn.Better deal some damage before finishing him with spells.
  2. Sir Finley : Hunter > drood > mage > all (only exception : against control, TAP can be key, sometimes)
  3. A good trade is good. But remember that your goal is to put your opponent on 0 HP. If you think that going face can give you the win in 1-2 turn, just SMASH his face, no trades needed.
  4. ALWAYS count the minimum damage you can deal with your spells (in your hand).
  5. Play arround key cards. Do NOT play arround every card.
  6. You have to know your opponent deck (ex : playing arround brawl against control warrior, but some warriors deck do not have any brawl...)
  7. Do NOT use earthshoke on anything if it's not a TAUNT !!!! (only exception : mad scientist against freeze mage, or armorsmith against warrior, if you think they'll abuse it)

I hope you'll enjoy this really fun and fast deck, and hope you can reach legend as fast as i did this season !!
