After getting tired of struggling to find my auctioneers in Miracle Rogue I decided to create my own deck that works within the current meta. I may alter this going forward as I progress up the ladder, but right now I'm running this at rank 8 with a lot of success.
The point of this deck is to utilize all the cheap spells rogue has in a direct and aggressive manner. Questing adventurer and Mana Addict have both made appearances in some Miracle lists. However, in my experience I always had too much trouble setting them up along with auctioneer under a conceal without getting blown out by an aggressive deck. Which is why I was running standard Miracle Rogue. Miracle Rogue is an amazing deck with explosive potential, but without your auctioneer it's a really difficult battle that usually ends in a loss since Miracle runs a lot of otherwise useless air to fuel the auctioneer.
This made me consider what the actual Protocol of rogue is in the current ladder climbing meta. It has a tremendous ability to control the board with Blade Fury to fight off aggressive decks like Zoo or any of the other numerous aggro decks out there. The Coldlight Oracles are there to fuel the deck to keep you full of cards to fling. I use Shadowstep on them quite frequently. It's especially funny to run through a couple Oracles only to see control warrior or handlock start burning their important cards from their hands being too full. Aside from that shadowstep is incredibly useful in this deck whether it's on an Abusive Sergeant, SI:7, or good ol Leeroy. The singleton Sap is there to clear any nuisance taunts or creatures that have been buffed by your opponent.
Try it out and let me know what you think! I'll try to answer any questions or suggestions in the comments if you have any.
I've tried multiple variants with the slot shiv is in now. I've used 2x Abusive Sergeants, a Sprint and Assassinate, but now I'm using shiv for the extra spells for Addicts, and the additional card cycling.
Mulligan Strategies:
Against aggro you want to keep things like Backstab, SI:7 Agent, Blade Flurry, and Deadly Poison.
Against control you are looking to put down the hurt and want to keep cards like Questing Adventurer, Conceal, Mana Addict, and I still like to keep a Blade Flurry to get a nice swing through their taunts or other creatures. Blade Flurry also makes for a great win condition if you poison an Assassin's Blade swing and Flurry for 10 damage at the end.
Let me know if you have any other questions about mulligans or general play with the deck!
What can I use instead of Leeroy?
Thanks.
Leeroy is the damage staple in this deck. The other option might be Arcane Golem but itll only do 12 damage with combo

What are some goo dmulligans for this deck?
What card would I want to drop for Bloodmage Thalnos? I'm thinking an Elven Archer right now, but perhaps you would have a different opinion?
What is the purpose of Elven Archers in this deck?
I've been meaning to ask, what would you do if you had questing adventurers and mana addicts in your hand but you just can't find the conceal?
yup i have to say that this deck raped a lot of decks in casual. mulligan suggestions?
I'll update the deck with some mulligan suggestions.

Conceal in this deck is more of a perk than an necessity. Typically I try to run them out of removal with my SI:7s, archers, and sergeants. Then I feel more comfortable dropping the others. Obviously it's ideal to hide behind a conceal, but when you're sitting on a QA with a shadowstep or two I will drop them and just hope I avoid them getting taken out.

The archers are there for spot removal, and they also make a decent shadowstep target to buff your Questing Adventurers in a pinch.

This deck can either take an aggro role or a control role depending on your opponent. It's part of what makes it so strong.

Honestly I'd drop a sergeant before anything else. I think thalnos is a great addition to the deck, but I just don't have one yet. Both VanCleef and Thalnos would be great replacements for the sergeants.

I'd love to know what changes you made DroopyHS. Can you share them?

Unfortunately Leeroy is kind of important in this deck. I suppose the closest thing would be an Arcane Golem or Argent Commander.

Mulligan strategies updated in the deck description. :-)
Excuse me, I'm new and I wanna know how to use this deck :) Thanks in advance!
The idea behind this deck is to only remove high priority early targets with Backstab, SI:7, Deadly Poison/Dagger, and Blade Fury (preferably with deadly poison on your dagger, or with your perdition's blade). Then while keeping your hand size decent with Coldlight Oracles you get Questing Adventurers and/or Mana Addicts out then conceal them to avoid them getting killed on the turn they can't attack. After that turn just go to town playing cards and spells to buff both of those creatures to hell and swing in for the win. You can also shadowstep combo your Leeroy Jenkins out there for heavy damage.
Oh okay :) Thanks so much! I'm gonna use this deck a lot cause it looks really good :)
Didn't this deck previously have a Sprint and an Assassinate? with reason being abusive sergeants are only good early game and the deck needed a better mid game?
I did switch it, but after the season reset I've been getting better results reverting the deck back to the Sergeants. Your mileage may vary. Adjust them in or out depending on what you're running into. Now I'm running shiv there. Please +1 the deck!
thank you for fast reply, and done! +1'ed it <3
Wait, a miracle rogue I can build (I'm missing Preparation and Edwin VanCleef)! Better yet, I can actually use my Mana Addicts and Questing Adventurers finally =)
Actually was running a Zoo variant that used QAs to great effect. Was always fun dropping that guy against a priest and pumping him up to 4 attack on the same turn.
Yeah, it's not a miracle rogue deck, though. :-) Let me know how it goes for you mr_hosed! Please +1 the deck!
Holy cow this deck is incredible.
Thank you ECMAScript!
Deck bumped my rogue play quite a bit from the standard miracle. Works well against the meta I think. Brilliant.
Glad to hear it! ;-)
I'm going to include VanCleef in the deck at some point, but I just don't have quite enough dust for him yet. I'll probably drop a Mana Addict for him as they seem to be the least consistent creature in the deck.
