Current Version:  v0.2

Overview

The main premise of this deck is value and versatility.  Each of the cards chosen are efficient somehow, with bonus points for mitigating a specific characteristic of competing decks.

This deck is in its infancy.  I'm currently evaluating whether it has potential to try to take it to Legendary.  I'm also running some singletons for now to see how they all perform.

The Cards:

Blessing of Might x2 -- Gets more mileage than it normally would thanks to lots of Divine Shield.  Great w/ Shieldbearer -- together they're better than a Succubus.

Blessing of Wisdom x1 -- Worst case, you pay a mana to put it on a friendly attacking minion to act as card cycling.  You can also put it on an offensive opposing threat you can't deal with soon.  But usually you want to put it on an attacking creature with the hopes that creature will live to attack at least once more.  Goes great on Divine Shield cards.  I especially like putting these on Argent Squires or other small cards.  If you put this on what is already your biggest threat, they're still going to attack that creature and get this card too.  So it's generally best to put it on your *least* attractive target for your opponent to force them to make less attractive decisions.

Argent Squire x2 -- This card is critical in this deck.  It's one of the best targets for all the Blessings, and it acts as a very strong trump to heavy aggro decks.  It may seem disappointing if it triggers your redemption, but I've found that's actually quite strong.

Shieldbearer x1 -- Shieldbearer is a quite efficient card from a stats perspective.  Its big drawback is its lack of any power.  But pairing it with Blessing of Might or Blessing of Kings works very well.  It acts as great protection for your higher-power, lower-toughness offensive creatures.  It can also help protect Hogger to let him proc more often.  I've generally been impressed with its performance, but found having 2 in hand to be undesirable, thus why I only run 1.  Its lack of offense is a minor liability   This card is on my watch list.

Worgen Infiltrator x1 -- In here for the damage.  The stealth helps ensure it attacks in nearly all circumstances.  While it's a pretty good value for its cost, it doesn't have a huge impact on the board.  It's a good trade for a minion in an opposing aggro deck.    This card is on my watch list.

Equality x1 -- Extremely effective when combined with consecration or Avenging Wrath.  There's only one in the deck, so you should hold it for max effect.  This card is a new addition, and is on my watch list.

Argent Protector x2 --  These are a great value.  If you have to, you can play this without a target.  But try to put the shield on something if you can, even just a 1/1.  This is great to put on a minion with Blessings, as well as some of the higher-power, lower-toughness creatures.  This card helps in 2 different modes:  getting board control, and surviving when you switch into go-for-the-kill mode.  A Divine Shield on Cairne Bloodhoof or replaced on Tirion Fordring makes them practically immortal.

Knife Juggler x 2 -- Its stats are good at 3/2, and the free points of damage are a great bonus.  This can hit hidden Worgen Infiltrators and just spread around some random damage when casting your other minions.  This deck doesn't bring out as many minions as other decks, but makes up for it in offering this card more survivability and defense than most decks.  While good, it's not as impactful as some other cards and I'm not sure yet if I should have 2, 1, or 0.  This card is on my watch list.

[card]Sunfury Protector[/card] x 1 -- A good value with its 2/3 stats and its ability can have huge impact on the board, especially when used to protect cards with Blessing of Wisdom or fragile creatures with high attack.  Great to throw on Cairne Bloodhoof or some other somewhat beefy minion.  But the protection also works well on 1/1 tokens or Argent Squires. This has been a singleton while I evaluate the effectiveness of the card and see how much protect the deck wants.  I'm considering adding a second copy of this to the deck.

Aldor Peacekeeper x 1 --  This has a nice mid-sized body that can often trade w/ 2 aggro creatures.  But its Humility effect can be worth the casting cost when it neutralizes a big opposing creature.  While it's often a good play on turn 3 if you can hit something with at least 3 attack, don't be afraid to hold this longer against decks with more expensive cards.  This is currently a singleton because I don't have a second copy.  I will craft a 2nd soon.

Jungle Panther x -- This card is a strong performer.  It packs a nasty punch, and the Stealth keeps it around to attack at least once.  It's also particularly good against various utility or defensive creatures like Shieldbearer, Demolisher, Northshire Cleric, Armorsmith, Imp Master, etc.  Would consider a 2nd copy, but not sure what it would replace.

Razorfen Hunter x -- Doesn't seem like much, but I've found the 2/3 and 1/1 split to offer some versatility.  This one card can often trade for 3 opposing aggro creatures.  This card is on my watch list.

Scarlet Crusader x 1 --  A good Divine Shield card.  Somewhat of a risky card, as it can be wiped out easily in some cases, but is a rock star in others.  This card is on my watch list.

Truesilver Champion x 2 -- This is one of the most efficient and versatile cards in the deck.  It's great at building board control and protecting your other minions.  But it's also extremely effective when aimed at your opponent's face.  Assuming your opponent has no taunt, it can deal 8 damage and heal 4 life over 2 turns for only 4 mana.  This card is awesome.

Blessing of Kings x 2 -- It may seem at first glance like this would compare unfavorably to, say, Chillwind Yeti.  But it's consistently an overperformer given that it has a strong impact the turn it comes down and packs even more punch with taunt and Divine Shield.

Consecration x 2 -- The bane of aggro decks. Good for 2 to the face, but also great in dealing a lot of distributed damage and completely clearing all aggro minions.  If given the choice between this and Avenging Wrath, use this when they have more minions.

Hammer of Wrath x 1 -- Decent targeted damage, plus card draw. Can do surprise damage to the face, or can be used for card-effective board control.  This card is on my watch list.

Avenging Wrath x 2 -- Great for hitting lots of creatures with low toughness.  Also great on an empty (or near-empty) board by dealing a lot of damage to the enemy and clearing out a minion or two.  Generally better on boards with fewer creatures and with lower toughness.  Harder to control against at least one beefy minion.

Cairne Bloodhoof x1 -- Although a bit expensive, Cairne is a great value as long as he is reincarnated.  Being a 4/5 that comes back again when he's killed makes him great for building board control, or ensuring you'll keep pushing damage through.

Hogger x1 -- The turn you cast him, Hogger doesn't bring a ton of efficiency to the board.  But if you can keep him alive at least one turn, he adds significant value to the board every turn.

Guardian of Kings x1 -- A big body with a big bout of hero healing.  This can help you win tight races, especially if your opponent just went all-in thinking they were closer than they were.  Given the other high-cost cards, I only run one of these.  This card is on my watch list.

Tirion Fordring x1 -- Very strong.  Susceptible to polymorph effects or silence, but absent those, he's a tremendous card that will either attack for 6 damage the turn after he comes out, and/or allow you to attack for 5 with the weapon he provides.  He's especially powerful if you can get Redemption to trigger for him.
