Hello,
I really like new Evolve mechanics, I used to play midrange shaman a lot in LOE and I really like the new type of midrange shaman, which is better and more fun to play than ever before.
This deck has good enough early and when you start evolving your numerous minions, miracles sometimes happen.
Mulligan:
- top priority: Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem
- optional: Rockbiter Weapon, Feral Spirit
- if you have something else to play on turn 1/2: Tuskarr Totemic, Flametongue Totem
- optional cards depend on match-up
Strategy:
Get through early game with as many minions as possible, this means various totems, Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Feral Spirit, Tuskarr Totemic and then play Evolve or Master of Evolution.
turn 4-6 is about bigger minions like: Flamewreathed Faceless (just insane), Thing from Below (huge tempo swing), Fire Elemental (nice tempo also), Azure Drake (refill).
If you get overwhelmed on board, Lightning Storm and Rockbiter Weapon are handy removals. Hex is here of course for big threats, altough don't hesitate to cast it on mid-game minions if you get good tempo swing from it.
Big board, you will often get is ideal set up for lethal with Bloodlust and if you get behind, you can always finish your enemy with Doomhammer + Rockbiter Weapon combo.

Tried deck for a quest and went 2–5 around rank 14. My impression is that more "boring" Midrange Shaman builds are just more consistent and do everything better than this deck.

What can I replace tunnel trogg with, i do not have any cards from any of the solo player expansions. Just have dust to craft cards from packs.
The synergy of the overloads is too OP. But worst case, you'd just need some low cost minions to curve out early game.
Replacing tunnel trogg is not an option for a deck like that, but if you have to i suggest argent squire.
