     Mulligan Guide: This is one of the few games where you get to go 2nd and use The Coin. It is best if you can coin out an Acidic Swamp Ooze, because it will hold him off for an extra turn before he can cast his Hook again. It's also okay to mulligan for a Snowchugger, Annoy-o-Tron, or Mana Wyrm for your starting hand.

     He will prioritize hitting you in the face with his weapon, since he will do 8 damage a turn (that's only 4 turns to kill you). You are definitely playing on a clock and any time you can buy yourself is precious. Once he reaches turn 4 you will only have one turn where he doesn't use Hateful Strike to kill one of your minions, and that's only because he can't cast his weapon and use the ability in the same turn until he gets 7 mana.

     You'll want to cast all your minions as quickly as possible, so you will still be able to damage him every turn even though he's killing your guys with his special ability. It's great if you are able to Duplicate a Snowchugger or Annoy-o-Tron! Just make sure you cast both the copies at the same time or he will kill one before you get any use out of them.

     The point is to keep freezing him or delaying him for as long as possible in order to finish him off. The Coldlight Oracles will damage him by forcing him to draw, but they are primarily included to allow you fill your hand since they won't benefit him at all.

 

     If you don't have the Flamewaker or Arcane Nullifier X-21 you could try adding other cheap 1 or 2 costs minions, but they won't be nearly as effective. If you would like to use another class to defeat this boss check out the decks below.
