Hello everybody, let me present myself: I'm Spopel, a professional HS gamer since beta version. My favorite class has always been Mage, so after many time playing Tempo Mage I decided to change something, to change the way I play this class, and I created my personal Reno Mage.

The basic idea is to limit the damage and to try to make our enemy waste most of his resources by keeping the board clear and to do it we have many spells such as Forbidden Flame (very useful because you can use it in every situation, just leave enough mana to kill your enemy minion), Arcane BlastFrostbolt, etc.

There are so many cards and combos that allow us to keep the board clean and make the enemy waste most of his resources, and then when our enemy is sure next turn he is going to win the game.. here he comes.... Reno Jackson! We protect ourselves with Ice Block, and BAM! "Fully heal your hero!". There are many cards that help us to draw him as soon as possible, so we should not have problems to find him. I also introduced Yourhful Brewmaster that combined with our Reno (8 mana total) can full heal our hero 2x! +60 health!

In the final rounds your enemy will be very weak, and here we are ready to destroy him: the best finisher is our Alexstrasza that allows us to control the game until the last rounds without taking care damaging our enemy and then set our enemy heal to 15. Finally, we can use Fireball drawn with Antonidas. We can conclude the game with 2 fireball + frostbolt = 15 damage (10 mana). EASY! Don't forget we should have 8 damage of our Alexstrasza, so don't worry if you did not manage to get enough Fireballs with Antonidas.

Possible replacements:

Harrison Jones ->Acidic Swamp Ooze, even if I do recommend Harrison: 1) good body 2) allows us to draw a lot, very important to find our key-cards as soon as possible.

If you like you can introduce Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. But be careful, It's not an easy card to play. You have to know when It can be useful and when destructive. The effects are often the same: -board clear, lot of draw, some secrets and some random damage. So, DON'T play it during the fatigue war, you will probably kill yourself, or next to the fatigue war. DON'T play it if you have the control of the board or you are next to win, you don't need to change anything. PLAY it during the game, possibly with not too many cards in your hand and if you don't have the control of the game. And last but not the least: pray for some luck :D

I'll keep the deck updated with new guides, mulligans, advices and tactics.

I hope you liked the deck and do not hesitate to comment below to ask any questions.
