A Little About Me

I am a 17x Legend Player with 2x Top 100 finishes who goes by the battletag WingsOfWax or WingsOfWaxIII on other social media (FacebookTwitter, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube). I have over 15+ Years of Magic: The Gathering Experience, but as of the release of Hearthstone: Beta been converted to this new and exciting card game.

Over the past year, I have been creating videos, articles, and casting live streams to help educate newer players about Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. As of right now, I am mostly known in the Hearthpwn.com community for creating a Naxxramas + 2,000 Dust Budget Guide 11 Deck series as well as putting Burst Rogue back into fruition.

These days I am working full time, go to school, and still create Hearthstone content whenever I find my schedule allows it. I love educating all types of players whether new or veterans about becoming a better strategy card gamer. I am creating this guide (and others) to help educate and grow the Hearthstone Community even further.

Introduction to my YouTube Channel:

Warning: This is an aggro deck. It has inconsistencies similar to any other Aggressive strategy and is not exactly straight forward to play. There is a lot (not all) of SMOrc'ing (Face is the Place) to be done, but you will have to plan out your turns according to how your hand is sculpted for optimal plays that leave you in the driver seat. Playing out this deck takes time and practice to fully master and play well, but it can be done and eventually could take you to the Legend status you desire.

Some perks of playing this deck are:

-An aggressive strategy, which all newer players should partake in.

-Quick Games, win or lose in a fast manner.

-Helps the player learn to properly manage their resources.

-Has a solid late game plan that allows you to refill your hand and stay aggressive.

Card Choices/Swaps:

2x Blessing of Might - Helps get more value out of Bubbles or push for much needed damage at a low cost.

1x Divine Strength - A solid card against opposing aggro decks allowing you to get more use from a minion. Also can be used to prevent a minion from being killed by a Hero Power.

2x Selfless Hero - Typically played in combination with another non-bubble minion in the early turns. Can be played solo if your opponents hero power does not answer it. Can generate value, but read the deathrattle carefully (the "random" clause) so you do not deny yourself bubble value.

2x Abusive Sergeant - Helps synergise with all the Divine Shields in this deck. Can allow you to trade up for value and tempo. Typically should be saved for value out of the Battlecry ability, but if you have no other Turn 1 play, go for it.

2x Argent Squire - One of the better turn 1 plays for this deck. Argent allows for your buff cards to get value. When given the opportunity, I will keep Argent Squire + Blessing of Might in my opener versus Shamans to have an answer for TUnnel Trogg and Totem Golem.

1x Sir Finley Mrrgglton - In this deck, Sir Finley often times becomes Divine Favor #3 in terms of getting a Warlock Hero Power. Typically as a rough guide, Finley's hero power choices should be rated like so:

Warlock>Hunter>Mage>Shaman>Druid>Warrior>Priest>Rogue

Each game is different, so it's up to you to make the best judgement call on which Hero Power will benefit you the most within  your games.

2x Worgen Infiltrator - A reliable turn 1 play that can survive long enough to receive buffs. Necessary aggressive minion to synergize with the rest of the deck.

1x Crazed Alchemist - With the resurgence of Doomsayer, Crazed Alchemist seems like a solid tool to use. Other uses for Crazed are killing totems, shrinking taunts and other minions for better trades, or just a 2-drop to fill the curve.

2x Dire Wolf Alpha - Dire Wolf started becoming top dog for value buffs in the new standard. It's perfect for Paladin's hero power, Divine Shields, and trading up with minions. With 2 other minions on board, Dire Wolf generates 4 power for 2 mana.

2x Flame Juggler - Is a solid body that has a chance at crippling opposing aggro players Turn 1 play. Killing an opponents 2/1 on Turn 2 typically generates you enough tempo to win the game (as long as you can keep up pressure).

1x Knife Juggler - Still a great minion even with the recent nerf, however Flame Juggler is a much better Turn 2 play. Having one Knife Juggler gives you a solid top deck mid to late game to get potential value from.

2x Argent Protector - Helps keep tempo on the board by bubbling your turn 1 play for value or protection. Also synergises well with Blessing of Might, Divine Strength, Abusive Sergeant, and Blessing of Kings.

2x Divine Favor - The card that makes the deck consistent by giving you a way to recoup cards. Helps redraw from an empty hand in the mid to late game. Typically you want more than 3+ cards, but this should be either the last or 2nd to last card in your hand for best results.

2x Rallying Blade - Typically used to remove enemy minions from the board so that your minions may continuously get in for damage. The buff to bubble minions is nice and when you can get value, go for it, but do not let Rallying Blade sit in your hand just for bubble value if you need to remove a minion or get in for crucial damage.

2x Argent Horserider - A relatively weak body, but a solid minion that is tough to kill. Having Charge makes Horserider a great target for Blessings when you can get value or have the opportunity to close out the game.

1x Blessing of Kings - Better than Truesilver Champion in this list because of the 8x Divine Shield effects in this deck. Used to help clear a minion in the way for value or to finish your opponent.

1x Consecration - A much needed card in just about every Paladin deck. Since this deck is more about keeping tempo and being aggressive, only having 1 copy of this 4-mana spell seems viable. Try to get at least 2+ cards of value. Sometimes you just need to have a single out versus opposing aggro decks to help you stabilize on board. If more aggro is prominent in your meta cut a Blessing of Kings for the 2nd copy.

2x Keeper of Uldaman - This card has to be one of the biggest MVPs in this deck. Countless times have I buffed a Silverhand Recruit or Argent Squire to make a profitable trade or to just rebuild a board after an opposing board clear. On the flipside, Keeper can be used defensively to shrink a large Taunt in your way.

Possible Upgrades/Downgrades:

Upgrades -

-1 Knife Juggler
+1 Leeroy Jenkins

or

-1 Knife Juggler
+1 Blood Knight

or

-1 Crazed Alchemist
+1 Blood Knight

Downgrades -

-1 Sir Finley Mrrgglton
+1 Divine Strength

Honorable Mentions:

Truesilver Champion - You can only make room for so many 4-drops in the deck. Considering there are 8 Divine Shields in this deck, Blessing of Kings was just a much more solid choice. There are also 2 copies of Rallying Blade to fill your weapon needs and occasionally give additional value.

Defender of Argus - I would consider a Defender of Argus if face decks like Face Hunter and Burst Zoolock were more prominent. At this time I'd rather just buff a single minion with Blessing of Kings to achieve value.

Dark Iron Dwarf - Keeper of Uldaman takes Dark Iron's place in this deck. The fact that Uldaman gives you more choices is the reasoning I stuck with her.

Equality - I could see playing one Equality over the Knife Juggler or Crazed Alchemist if you are up against more Taunts than normal. More than one Equality just seems unnecessary and clunky majority of the time.

Aldor Peacekeeper - This deck is not about making trades more than it is about being aggressive. If we were looking to accomplish a mid to late game plan, I could see playing Aldor to help us get to later points in the game. However this deck is about ending the game as quickly as possible.

Sword of Justice - For 3-mana I can not justify a card that doesn't give me returns right away. Sword of Justice takes time to get going, time we would rather spend building a board presence and attacking.

Steward of Darkshire - At first, I thought this card was going to be the bees knees. After testing around 30+ games with Steward, I realized you just never quite had the time to get value. Steward just feels like Silver Hand Regent to me and I can not justify playing something that clunky in an aggro deck.

Basic Mulligan/Opening Hand Guide:

Understanding the Mulligan Guide - The number represents how many of that card I'm willing to keep in my opening hand. If there is no number, that means there is only one copy of the card and I'm willing to keep it in my opening hand. The number with the coin means how many copies I'm willing to keep with coin in my hand.

How to play the deck and Tips:

Typically you want your opening hand to have a curve of a 1-drop and a 2-drop (or 2x 1-drops). This allows you to keep up the tempo early in the game and attempt to develop a board presence.

For the most part you are a face deck, but consider making profitable trades to hold control of the board.

Versus Shamans, I find it correct to keep Argent Squire + Blessing of Might to kill both Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem when given the opportunity.

Use Rallying Blade to kill minions instead of trading in your own minions on board. On board minions have the potential of dealing more damage the more they stay alive, weapons do not.

Keeper of Uldaman is a defensive and offensive card. Try to figure out the best use that gets you the most value.

Consecration is worth at least 2 cards versus an aggro deck. Be sure to get a bare minimum of 2, but aim for at least 3+.

When your not being extremely pressured, typically it is correct to empty your hand of expensive mana spells to eventually get easier value from Divine Favor.

Try to use  your Divine Shields and Weaker minions to help protect  your more powerful ones, such as Dire Wolf Alpha and Knife Juggler.

If you are looking for a deck that maximizes your time and is competitive, this is the right deck for you. The deck is also Budget Friendly and can be altered slightly depending on what your collection looks like.

I will do my best to answer each question in the comments about swapping cards, but ultimately use your best judgement when deciding what you can substitute and what you cannot.

Here's to hoping this deck/guide is in some way beneficial to your Grinding Experience! The deck has performed extremely well for me and won games I thought were not possible to do so.

If your looking for a deck to get you out of the lower Ranks, this one will surely do the trick when piloted reasonably well.
