PS2: I think the hero power's mage needs to be changed, such that it is affected by spell power, what do you think?
Hi all, I'm Fanatik.
This is my deck and today I'll try to explain it! :)
This deck is really strong and not lots difficult to play ( you need to be skilled for the legend already )
I'm actually rank 7 but I have done 22/8 (w/l) with it.
VICTORY CONDITIONS:
Simply attack the enemy hero when you have the control board.
HARD MATCHUP:
Control Warrior - Handlock - Rush Hunter
NORMAL MATCHUP:
Zoo Lock - Counter Mage - Tempo Rogue - Token Druid - Kolento Hunter - Miracle Rogue
EASY MATCHUP:
Ramp Druid - Watcher Druid - Normal Mage - Control Shaman - Control Paladin - Aggro Mage - Control Priest
MULLIGANS VS CONTROL:
Mana Wyrm
Amani Berserker
Counterspell
Kirin Tor Mage
Frostbolt / Fireball
Nat Pagle
MULLIGANS VS AGGRO:
Mana Wyrm
Arcane Missiles
Nat Pagle
Amani Berserker
Frostbolt
PS: Coin alweys help :D
MATCHUP AGAINST CONTROL:
- Try to get board control and calculate when you need to play your Counterspell.
- Never put 2 Sen'jin Shieldmasta in the board at the same time, they are pretty strong against control.
- Don't use Polymorph if it isn't necessary.
- If they got lots of Taunts, don't use The Black Knight if u can easy Fireball it.
MATCHUP AGAINST AGGRO:
- Try to get board control and calculate when you need to play your Counterspell.
- You can put 2 Sen'jin Shieldmasta at the same time.
- Use Polymorph on their biggest minion ( like Doomguard )
- Try to become the aggro.
Is all for now, if you have any other questions feel free to ask ^^
Hope I help.

Wow what is the updated deck? Nothing makes sense. Your updates and your deck list are not consistent.
I'm a bit confused, which are you using in terms of deck cards? The ones on the table? or the ones on the "Updated" area. For example,do we still keep the water elementals + Argent commander? So far this is what I have in terms of the deck
So my reasoning behind some of the choices where this: I don't currently have Ice Block/Spell-Bender/Harrison Jones. So in replace I added (x2 Ice barrier) seems to work well at times but not sure..I also added mirror image just to increase chances early game And instead of x2 Kirin(I replaced him with x2 Ethereal aranist). Simply because i kept losing to shamans + hunters. :/ Feel free to let me know,if you think it was a bad idea taking out the water elemental and what should I change? I'm a bit confused on what to do.
Spell power doesnt exist in Hearthstone. You might be thinking of Spell Damage, however. If you mean spell damage then it wouldnt make sense to be applied to fireblast since it is a hero "power". There are cards that buff hero powers already. Priest has some. I like the idea of giving mage a card that would have a similar effect, though.
You stop to improvew that deck fanatik?
Get's owned by pally's and them bubbles
having major card draw problems too, loosing to some weak decks... :*(
Very poor draw power right now...
So far I made the following adjustments:
Take Out
Nat Pagle
Sen'jin Shieldmasta x2
Put In
Ice Block
Spellbender
Ethereal Arcanist
From Rank 8 to 5: 15 games with 73% win rate so far. Also I substiuted Ragnaros for Sylvanas simply because I don't have Ragnaros but also helps the mana curve just a little bit.
Love to see some cool mage concepts! Counter spell is soooo sweet when it goes off at the right moment.
Ya...not too good vs. fail loc I mean zoo loc and got 4 damage vx. another mage not seeing this 80% win
Far out love this deck but having a bad day with control warriors! :(
It's incredible! if you include Ice Block you con become a great match up against some miracle rogue's finishing combos or how sweet it is to crush a mid game spell with Counterspell. I excluded Nat, I don't think its worth a place in this deck with this current meta.
I try and use my hero power to take out the 1 health minions early on, saving my arcane missiles, frost bolts, fireballs for later on. Also get your low mana minions ASAP. I had a Zoo yesterday take me down to 5 health about turn 7, he then started to run dry on cards. because I had saved some cards back, I put taunts down and counter spells to stop further damage.....I then took the next lot of minions out With flamestrikes and then won the game. With zoo's it can be dependant on your run of cards but if you play smart and not use everything early on it is doable.
36/10 at rank 5 and up... so you are legend then... or about?
Opps just checked your stream and you are 4 star rank 5...... so 36/10 then like 0/22? Mad losing streak? coming around coming around.
Never mind... I just saw that 22 of those wins came from rank 7 and below. Were they also pre pagle nerf?
Did he mention anywhere its a legendary deck? Its for rank climbing, its extremely effective against many current meta decks, fun and annoying at the same time. Stop randomly posting without even reading.
The fist time you stated w/l it was posted as "36/10 rank 5 and up", not 36/10 from rank 12 to rank 5. When I first saw the list and write up i assumed that meant you had hit legend because mathematically 36/10 would put you at legend... then I checked you stream and you were at 5. All I want is truth in advertising please. And Supro, my problem was i did read the post before posting which caused my confusion.
Why do you people keep claiming absurd win ratios like 80% and very time without fail you aren;t even in Ranks 1-5 yet, let alone legend, and you are counting less than 30 games. People stream more games on twitchin 4 hours than your entire deck win rate claims...
Maybe your win rate matters after like 100 games, but even then you should be ignoring all wins before about Rank 10. sigh.
(Top 100 NA Legend Season 1)
I typically include my win ratio from a ladder climb due to how often the ladder resets (not that the resets are too frequent, I like it being monthly). Anyway I feel like it gives a better spectrum of what to expect of the deck without being false advertising. Not everyone who's net-decking is in rank 10 or better, they're probably around rank 15 or lower and don't know what to use yet to climb the ladder, or are simply looking for something fresh. Therefore they should be able to see what a deck's win rate could potentially be for them in the same ladder-climbing scenario.
Although I do understand it's a bit underhanded to include the entire climb since obviously some wins are borderline effortless at lower ranks and can understand frustrations. Furthermore, 100 games is a lot to play with a single deck just to find a solid win ratio. I believe around 20 games should be played instead. That should expose the deck to anything running around the current meta.
I came up with a pretty sweet aggro warlock combo-style deck that's still incredibly minion/heavy and aggressive, but the minions have more synergy rather than being small/cheap minions that add up quickly. It's win ratio is currently 100% because nobody knows how to deal with it on ladder, and I proceeded to use it to blow through 8 rankings in a single sitting. Am I going to post it up claiming 100% win ratio? No. Could I? Sure. If I felt like it I could've even recorded the games for 'proof'.
Also, gratz on getting Legend ranking. That requires dedication. Good for you. But don't throw it around like it makes your opinion better than every other opinion; please and thank you.
