RANK 12 to 5 UPDATE: I upped the Shield Block count based on suggestion and I really am liking this change.  Hogger is STILL in the deck and is STILL performing. Try him out if you haven't!

I went from rank 20 to rank 12 in one day using this deck which is the reason I am posting it.  This is another variation of Control Warrior for the current meta.  Most matches are winnable.  The mirror match is probably the hardest but this deck has the late game cards to get the job done.

I built this because early game I was finding much less pressure against aggro so I moved to a single Slam and a single Cleave, different from other control warrior builds.

I like Hogger right now at 6 because he always gets the silence before bringing out Baron Geddon.  I like to hold Cairne Bloodhoof a little longer but it is fine to put pressure on 6. (No longer running Cairne)

Gorehowl is to clean up, often only killing one guy and then performing the killing blow. I am not liking how Gorehowl is performing and I removed it.  For Seven, I want to kill their guy and not take damage.  I am currently really liking Ragnaros the Firelord.

Nat Pagle is awesome right now.  He will usually draw out a silence or a couple of their cards that would be used on your dudes later.  I really like the extra draw when playing control.

Twilight Drake is amazing here.  You are usually holding and using Warrior ability early game, so he feels at home, much like Handlock.

The Black Knight made it into the deck as I've finally acquired this amazing card.  Really helps out against those pesky Druids and Handlocks.

Mulligan idea: Against aggro you are trying to maintain a somewhat clean board early game.  Don't be afraid to hit their guys with Cruel taskmaster to finish them off after a slam.  Mid game, don't forget you can pump their guys into Big Game Hunter range if necessary.  Against Control I like to build up shield stacks early on so shield slam can wreck their bigger guys and Twilight Drake comes out nice and fat by holding cards.

Against Aggro
Keep: Slam, Shield Slam, Whirlwind, Cleave, Cruel taskmaster, Armorsmith
Toss back: Anything over 3 mana.  I also throw back execute.

Against Control
Keep: Twilight Drake, Nat Pagle, Acolyte of Pain, Kor'kron Elite, Execute, Shield Block
Toss back: Cleave, Whirlwind, anything over 5 (except Hogger against warrior, keep Hogger)
