Hey guys! I wanted to share my deck! It has gotten me so much success since the new expansion dropped! I was quickly finding my self playing C'thun decks and N'zoth decks and what not, but they seemed to inconsistent at times with a lack of card draw being an issue, minions not making my C'Thun big enough. Anyways I decided to bring back my favorite old deck to Standard. I am not a very consistent player and I am not a legend player either, but with my highest rank being rank 5, I have decent game knowledge. I don't use deck tracker and I am not any good with computers so no proof will be available.  Without any further ado lets get on with the deck! Btw this is an original deck so if you like it please like it, it would mean the world to me for any comments and upvotes!

The deck's style is controlled and you will not one turn kill anyone unless they are afk lmao... SO you want to start off with having a strong mulligan such as Frostbolts, Doomsayers, Twilight Flamcallers, Scarabs, or a Cyclopian horror(bare with me I'll go over cards and card choices later). Some match-ups like druid it is wise to keep a SINGLE Arcane Intellect in your hand. Most of the time Druids will have a dead early turn due to ramp cards and gaps in between their opener and their larger minions. Priest are kinda weak for the early game and in most cases they lack single target burst onto minions. Doomsayers are the best cards to fight a priest with. If you start off with a great curve or the coin you can keep Sylvanas to deal with any board a priest has. The Mage class currently is playing more of a tempo based line-up to utilize the card, Yogg'Saron. The doomsayer is great in this match. Keep your removal and try to survive using your minions for board. Don't try to be greedy by saving a Brann Bronzebeard to get some value battlecries. Paladins are really control oriented this meta with N'Zoth being the old god of choice for their decks. The faster aggro deck is still very viable but is a lot more easier of a match-up against our deck. The board clear and minions that this deck has just outvalues the paladin tokens and smaller minions. Play patiently with both match-ups and never play greedily in the aggro match up. Rogue and Hunter are very similar. Although the stronger decks from these classes are more mid range-styled they have the power to overwhelm you with a good hand. All you have to do is try to get as many minions in your hand as possible. The Sap card from rogue is the bane of doomsayer and if my rng is anything like yours when you doomsayer it will get sapped or removed by a spell all day looooong! So try to use your doomsayers proactively as in putting them on an emtyboard turn 2-3 or even 4. If you need to use the frost nova + doomsayer combo, but don't get sad if your doomsayer is removed. Hunter on the other hand cannot burst the doomsayer efficiently so the frost nova + doomsayer combo is ideal. Warlock class is a nicer experience for our deck. This is because the zoo style still remains with the recent nerf to owl, it is almost unplayable in zoo. They rather would play a 4 mana spellbreaker so the doomsayer in this case is a great. Your hand should be built with board clear with the discover effects and heavy taunts and heals from your Cylcopian Horror and your Cult Apothecary(both these cards benefit from large boards). A trick I use is to frost nova a huge board and get the battlecry benefit from the minions and then I use a blizzard or Flamestrike the next turn to clear. Warrior decks are not the same wall they used to be. You can easily just play reactively to their C'Thun buff minions, then when the warrior runs out of fuel build your hand to find secrets with Jeweled Scarab and Ethereal Conjurer. After live through your beating just play as greedily as you can to find more clear and play the fatigue game. Make sure to Polymorph the C'Thun. After the C'Thun has come out you will definitely win if your opponent no longer has a C'Thun. Make sure to try to juggle building your board and keeping your hand full of removal. Lastly Shaman this class will wreck you all the time if you mulligan poorly. This is all about getting the frostbolts or forbidden flame to deal with the huge 4 mana 7/7 Flamewreathed Faceless. The Hex card will make you cry after your doomsayer gets frogged. You must think of Shaman to be a strong zoo deck. Keep a flamestrike in your hand if you can. The best cards are polymorph to counter the 4 mana 7/7, Blizzard for clear, Frost Nova and Cylcopian Horror. The cards you have to make sure you discover is Frost Nova, Cone of Cold or anything that can help to stall. Most of the time unless you have a Flamestrike, it might be wise to clear as many minions as you can from the board(even the totems) Every minion can be transformed with the Evolve card which will make all minions the Shaman has on board become 1 whole mana value higher than it previously was. If you live long enough until the Shaman has 1-2 cards in his hand you are almost home free.

Let's talk about the card choices.

Forbidden Flame is one of my favorite cards in here because the utility and flexibility is so high. Don't be afraid to forbidden flame a 1/2 if you can it will pay off in the following turns when you need to set up your hand and fill up with cards.

Frostbolt can be used in combination with shatter or just be used as a stalling tool. Frostbolting a 7/7 or a 6/7 card is perfectly fine as long as you can deal with that minion the next turn when it is unfrozen.

Shatter this card is given too much heat for the value it offers. Especially in our deck. The value of a free destroy a minion card is insane. Its soul crushing for a guy who has a 19/19 C'Thun that gets Frost Nova to his board and a Shatter right on the C'Thun. The Cabalist Tome will often give you cards that you might think are useless such as an Ice Lance. However thanks to Shatter that card, Ice lance can be used to proc the Shatter card for a 3 mana combo onto any minion. Sometimes if there is a large minion such as a Ysera, Deathwing(both), or even Y'Shaarj you can Sylvanas then freeze your Sylvanas and then Shatter.

Doomsayer is super great for anytime of clear. It best on an empty board, or if you seek tempo. Doomsayer can often buy you health in this slower meta. Players value their board state more than face damage so think of doomsayer as, "Wow that fireball could have killed me that one turn, good thing he used it on the Doomsayer."

Jeweled Scarab is not used for the minion stats, but is perfect for contesting the board state, use it to get cards that can help remove things like a Forgotten Torch, or a Nova. Never pick minions unless you are in dire need of some sort of board. Secrets like Ice Block are great or depending on whats going down, Vaporize, or Ice Barrier would do the trick better than an Ice Block(sometimes you are no where close to dying).

Arcane Intellect Great card draw in this meta you will not get punished as hard for using this on curve(turn 3) if your oppenent has a threatning minion use this for answers to deal with this, if you can deal with the minion over this card draw. It will give you more life. Since this deck will mostly win in late game, do not ever use this card if you are 3 or more cards ahead in fatigue over the opponent. An example would be if you have 8 cards versus your opponent that has 12 cards. If you will not win in the next 3 turns you should refrain from using this card as you will only hurt yourself in a longer game.

Frost Nova Just good freezing to proc Shatter, or combo with a Doomsayer. This card is great for stalling to get a board or to make your opponent play into the trap of playing more minions so you can get a super value flamestrike later xD

Brann Bronzebeard This legendary is used to combo our battlecry cards like Ethereal Conjurer and Jeweled Scarab for more value. The cards like Cult Apothecary and Cyclopian Horror work just as well sometimes. What should heal you for 14(7 minions on your opponent's side) will heal you to 28. Sometimes in faster games its better to use this guy as a tempo/board card.

Twilight Flamecaller this card was much needed for mage. This card has great utility. A card that reminds me of a fencing coach instead you deal 1 dmg to all minions on the opponent's board.

Polymorph use other removal over this one UNLESS you get another Polymorph from the Cabalist's Tome or a Conjurer.

Cylcopian Horror this card does a great job at replacing the belcher's taunt spot at a cheaper price.

Elise Starseeker this card can be used to add a card into help stop fatigue if you are ahead. Offers an alternative win condition against other control decks that you might not have the tools to win.

Cabalist's Tome the ability to get strong mage spells without tapping into your card pool in unparalled in power per mana. Most of the time the cards you get will synergize with your overall plan to control the game. Really solid card in general and use them as an option to add more fuel to your tank.

Cult Apothecary is a replacement for the Antique Healbot slot. The card does well for healing as your spells will prevent more face damage that comes your way. The card has better stats than the Healbot does and most of the time you would want a board over the health anyways.

Ethereal Conjurer having this card is so great, it contest most strong minions as well as giving those pesky tokens something to kill(which would have been inconvenient for you as the mage to ping or clear otherwise).

Blizzard there is only one??? biblethump I won't be able to clear anything! Wrong.. No you have Flamestrike! Blizzard deals with weaker minions and most of the time the value of Flamestrike is superior to that of Blizzard. Blizzard can be used for utility as well to stall the game out for a full clear or just somehow going face and ignoring the board if you are able to lethal your opponent.

Emperor Thaurissan what can Is say? Make your spells cost way less win more!

Sylvanas Windrunner This card is a beast, the new Dr. Boom without random boom bots going face for 4 each. Sylvanas can contest a whole board and just turn the game around. you have cleared the board once you put this card down unless your opponent can deal with it with a silence or morphing ability.

Flamestrike totally great aoe clear doesn't get better than killing the board and resetting the tempo.

Yogg'Saron, Hope's End this legendary wil totally screw you, but the reason why we have it in this deck is because sometimes you are the person who needs to concede, thanks to Yogg maybe we can pull RNG fresh out of the oven and save our skins.

Thanks for viewing my deck if you enjoyed it please upvote or comment on it or ask a question. I'll try to answer all questions asap. Y'all are the best and thanks again!

Most decks do not run any silences now, instead they use huge removal spells of utility minions.
