Strategy
The main aim of this deck is to control the board and clear minions early game until around turn 7 or 8 and you go in for the kill in 1 or 2 turns. This is to quickly end the game before any big enemies come out like Ragnaros the Firelord or Tirion Fordring
As you can see, the cards used are very low cost, but does enough damage to constantly clear opponent's board to nothingness while constantly having cards in your hand.
It is also a cheap deck to use if you happen to have a bunch of warrior cards lying around and are only playing it to complete any warrior-related quests.
Hero Power
- Armor Up! - When you have nothing else to do.
Spells
- Charge - When Warsong Commander is coming in late and you already have Gorehowl - in place and Bloodsail Raider in hand.
- Cleave - Just when Whirlwind is not enough to finish the job.
- Commanding Shout - When you think Acolyte of Pain is not giving you enough draws yet.
- Execute - When you cannot contain your Inner Rage anymore.
- Heroic Strike - Slap any minion silly when Fiery War Axe is not enough.
- Inner Rage - Release it on Acolyte of Pain so he gets really angry and lets you draw a card.
- Shield Block - Extra armor when you have to take matter to your own hands. (whacking minions with weapons)
- Slam - Slam first, kill later.
- Upgrade! - When you need that 1 attack and another swing to the face.
- Whirlwind - SUPER SPIN SPIN ATTACK. For that early rush decks.
Minions
- Acolyte of Pain - The most important card in this deck. Works his *** to earn you more cards.
- Arathi Weaponsmith - Buy 1 get 1 free. BUT WAIT ! THERE'S MORE ! Play now and you can swing that weapon immediately !
- Bloodsail Raider - Gorehowled last turn, Raiders this turn. Don't forget to bring along Warsong Commander
- Cruel Taskmaster - Needing Acolyte of Pain to come in on Sundays makes him angry but earns you a card
- Sen'jin Shieldmasta - When buy 1 free 1 deal isn't going on yet.
- Warsong Commander - Never let her go to the party alone. ALWAYS bring along a Bloodsail Raider. or 2.
- Dread Corsair - That extra help of defense against something big. Cheap when you have a weapon equipped. FREE if you have Arcanite Reaper or Gorehowl. Also a great date to bring on your turn 8 one turn kill party if you drew it much later in the game.
- Kor'kron Elite - Your basic 4 mana cost 4 damage instant beatstick. Great way to quickly bring the enemy hero's HP to it's knees by turn 8. Also serves as a meat nuke to minions. Pair with Inner Rage or Cruel Taskmaster for more bloody mess.
Weapons
- Arcanite Reaper - Can I axe you a question?
- Fiery War Axe - The king of turn 2 warrior cards. 3 damage with 2 swings for the low low cost of 2 mana.
- Gorehowl - Gorehowl do you think you will survive in the next turn?
First draw suggestions:
Tips:
- Try to kill as many minions on your opponent's side as much as possible early game with your first hand draws. You should be able to kill most minions with Fiery War Axe alone.
- Otherwise, use Inner Rage or Cruel Taskmaster on Acolyte of Pain to draw more cards while giving him the needed attack to either kill the enemy minion or deal damage to the enemy hero.
- You should have a considerable hand size by turn 6 with cards like Shield Block and Acolyte of Pain.
- Try to have Gorehowl or Arcanite Reaper equipped at least by turn 7 or turn 8. The killing combo comes when you have Warsong Commander or Charge and Bloodsail Raider in your hand. Effectively dealing 16~18 damage in 1 turn. Works best if you have 2 Bloodsail Raider for another 7~9 damage depending on whether you have Gorehowl or Arcanite Reaper equipped.
- If everything is perfectly in place on turn 8, it will deal a total of:
- (Gorehowl + Upgrade! = 8 damage) + (Bloodsail Raider (2 + 8) x 2 = 20) = 28 damage in 1 turn.
- Most opponents will not see it coming. Even if you do not have Upgrade! it will still deal 25 in a turn.
- 25 damage in a turn should be overkill considering you should be dealing more than 5 damage to your opponent during your last 7 turns.
Alternatives:
If you do not have the rare cards, you can easily swap them with the common ones.
- Gorehowl <> Arcanite Reaper
- Upgrade! <> Kor'kron Elite / Raging Worgen / Arcanite Reaper
- Commanding Shout <> Slam / Whirlwind
- Dread Corsair <> Sen'jin Shieldmasta
Updates:
5th May 2014
- Replaced Sen'jin Shieldmasta with Dread Corsair (Thanks to AmetystDragon for the tip!).
- Added Raging Worgen and Arcanite Reaper to Upgrade! alternative.
- Added Sen'jin Shieldmasta alternative to Dread Corsair.
- Added Dread Corsair and Kor'kron Elite to minion's note.
- Updated formatting and card links.
12th May 2014

Thank you for your time. Good luck and have fun !
In the description is Bloodsail Corsair instead of Dread Corsair.
