Welcome to our C'thun Priest Guide.

Motivation

We wanted to make Priest viable again. With the new standard format Priest got some good minions like Twilight Darkmender and Darkshire Alchemist. It's obvioius that this leads to a Priest deck that is build around C'thun, so we gave it a try.

Introduction

This deck is not played like a normal control priest. It's more like the old Dragon Priest. You try to curve out well with your minions that buff C'Thun and if possible you keep them alive with your hero power. In this deck C'Thun is used as a finisher most of the time. 

The good matchups of this deck are aggressive and midrange decks where you can use your insane healing to get out of reach and are able to utilize clear combos like Auchenai Soulpriest / Embrace the Shadow + Circle of Healing.

Guide

This deck is playing very mana efficient like most C'Thun decks do. Commonly known as "curving out well". You try to use every mana crystal possible every turn in the early game. Therefore you search for cards like: Northshire Cleric, Loot Hoarder, Beckoner of Evil, Disciple of C'Thun or Twilight Elder.

In the midgame you try to get your C'thun to 10/10 stats to utilize the effects of Twilight Darkmender or Twin Emperor Vek'lor.

If the game drags out to later stages of the game and you are not able to finish with your board, you need to finish with the burst of C'Thun.
