The deck is ramp based.
Gameplan: The early game is carry on by ramp cards ( Wild Growth ... ) in combo with Forbidden Ancient followed by Faceless Shambler (you can put the second copy of it but the deck space is really limited). If you don't get the Forbidden + Faceless combination on turn 4+5 doesen't change much; you set up your board control with taunts minion. From now on the choose one synergy kick in with Fandral Staghelm :
From 6 mana up:
- Fandral Staghelm + Living Roots to keep bard control
- Fandral Staghelm + Raven Idol for insane card advantage and situational choices
- Fandral Staghelm + Wrath for board control and cycling
The above listed are the biggest synergies with Fandral Staghelm because you don't need Emperor Thaurissan to kick in them AND you don't have to worry for Fandral Staghelm to survive.
Emperor Thaurissan allows to (1 turn discount):
6 mana Fandral Staghelm + Mire Keeper Ramp + Extend Board
7 mana Fandral Staghelm + Druid of the Claw Gives a 4/charge taunt that can either go face or DEFEND your Fandralm trading with your opponent board.
9 Mana Fandral Staghelm + Ancient of Lore Cycling more healing
9 Mana Fandral Staghelm + Ancient of War Gives 10/10 Taunt
9 Mana Fandral Staghelm + Wisps of the Old Gods Gives from 1 to 6 3/3 minions, from 8 to 23 damage on board (not considering if there was other minions on board)
10 Mana Fandral Staghelm + Cenarius + Innervate Gives at least: 1 5/7 + 1 5/8 + 2 2/2 with Taunt
to be continued
This seems more like a Fandral Staghelm deck than a Forbidden Wisps deck, but yeah the wisps are bad without him so I guess you could force value out of this horrible card and thus get a serious Johnny-play going ;)
