Hey, I am Chinoize and I'm currently playing for team RUZ3.Gaming.

After playing many many games with VLPS' Renolock, I was looking for something new and exciting. After watching Hoej's BlueStack Invitational games on Twitch, I got the idea to play my own version of Demon Renolock. I decided not to run the leeroy combo because Jaraxxus served the same purpose of closing games versus control, with the upside of having less possible dead cards in hand.

SHORT DECK GUIDE:

MULLIGAN Okay, so there's one golden rule: ALWAYS keep Reno. You wanne be rich right?

- HUNTER: Mortal Coil, Zombie Chow, Peddler, Doomsayer, Darkbomb, Owl, Imp Gang boss. Keeping a 4-drop is fine if you already have a decent curve.

- MAGE: Zombie Chow, Darkbomb, Doomsayer, Owl, Imp Gang Boss Again, keeping a 4-drop is fine if you already have a decent curve. This mulligan is based on not knowing what mage archetype you're facing (freeze/tempo etc).

- WARLOCK: Zombie Chow, Darkbomb, Doomsayer, Owl, Imp Gang Boss, Mind control tech. As usual Keeping a 4-drop is fine if you already have a decent curve. This mulligan is based on not knowing what warlock archetype you're facing (zoo/reno etc).

- ROGUE: Darkbomb, Imp Gang Boss, Shredder, Twilight, Voidcaller. You can even consider keeping loatheb on a decent curve, as it's a good counter to a turn 4 violet teacher.

- WARRIOR: Doomsayer, Imp Gang Boss, Hellfire, Shredder, Twilight, Voidcaller, Emperor. This mulligan is based on not knowing what warrior archetype you're facing (patron/control etc).

- PALADIN: Mortal coil, Zombie Chow, Darkbomb, Peddler, Owl, Demonwrath, Imp Gang Boss, Mind control Tech (depends hand), Hellfire. This mulligan is based on not knowing what paladin archetype you're facing (secret/murloc etc).

- PRIEST: Darkbomb, Doomsayer, Shredder, Twilight Dragon, Voidcaller, Emperor. Mulligans for dragon and control priest are almost identical.

-SHAMAN: Mortal Coil, Zombie Chow, Darkbomb, Peddler, Imp Gang Boss, hellfire. Aggressive mulligan for Reno as most of the time it's Reno or Bust BabyRage

-DRUID: Zombie Chow, Darkbomb, Doomsayer, Imp Gang Boss, Shredder, Twilight, Voidcaller. In this matchup you need a good early curve to counter the druid's pressure, but it's certainly doable!

My mulligan guide is focused on ladder play. With some matchups, rogue for example, I don't have enough experience to give completely accurate advice. I don't really keep track of my matches, but personally I think the deck is favored or 50/50 versus most of the decks out there! Only a freeze mage player that knows what he's doing or murlocadin can provide problems. Also, druid in general is a tough matchup.

TECH CHOICES:

Doomsayer: Often provides a sick tempo swing, perfectly played on turn 2 against aggro decks to regain initiative, also very good after an aoe clear to lock down the board.

Mind control Tech: Zoo is a very popular deck and secret paladin is also well represented on ladder. Mind control tech is a very useful tool to prevent the board from snowballing when aoe clears are not at hand!

Kezan: I played this card for an offline tournament where I expected a lot of mages. For ladder, I would probably prefer a sylvanas or black knight (vs druids).

Loateb: Still a very strong card!

Molten Giant: Molten plus Reno is the dream combo. Also it is immensely strong against all the aggro decks on ladder!
