Total Deck Rating

So far with this deck I have an 80% win rate. Although it's still early for me, I made it to rank 12 faster than I ever have before.
My logic with this deck is, whenever you see fit, dispatch enemy minions with weapons. There are a total of 6 weapons in this deck, I was running this deck with a Ancient Brewmaster for more weapons. ( To call back the Arathi Weaponsmith ) But I found that combo to be unreliable.
In the match ups I have had against Warlock Zoo, I have won. From what I've experienced this deck is viable to make it in the late game vs a paladin or druid.
Try it out and see for yourself. :D
EDIT: The higher I get in ranks the more common cards I need :)
This means that the deck is getting more expensive. I'm still trying to keep it as cheap as possible and there is some leeway here I think. HOWEVER, the most important card you need against decks with heavier legendaries is Faceless Manipulator.
I kind of want to explain a bit more on how I see Faceless "synergizing" with this deck. I mainly use it in order to protect the cards already on the board and the ones I intend to play next turn.
How do make Faceless good?
Against paladin: Tirion Fordring. He is the absolute best. If your opponent has him they will play him turn 8, it stops aggro in it's tracks.
Against Druid: Ancient of War. Again, if your opponent has it, they will play it using the health buff. I know, spending 5 mana that turn instead of trying to deal that 10 damage immediately will suck a bit. However! You will be surprised by how often you will have 7-10 damage on the board at all times, past turn 4-ish.
Against Warlock (zoo): Doomguard. You need to race any other aggro deck. So copying that Doom will help secure the win.
Some side notes: Most of you won't need to read this, but I just want to talk a bit about my play style. Whenever possible I kill enemy minions with weapons. I never trade minions for free. In fact that's why I have included several cards that benefit whenever you absolutely must trade. So set down a Cult Master right before you trade one or two minions. Or set down that Flesheating Ghoul and nom some attack points. OR another thing. There are several minions that allow you to trade up. Buff up a two drop and take out a possible 3 or 4 drop. ( That's some common stuff.. I know. But I want to lay it out there )
There is no built in "mulligan" card draw in here. You will need to create the opportunities to draw a card whenever the Master is in your hand.
I hope you have fun with this or learned something or whatever you came here for. I plan to update this as I keep progressing through the ranks. Thanks for reading. :D
Edit 2: Okay. So I might have been wrong about a couple things. Brawl has no place being in this deck. My logic behind it was that this deck is more about board control than it is aggression. But from what I've been experiencing, if I don't close out the game by turn 8 against a druid then it won't be possible to win.
Another later game card is Faceless, by turn 5 there really isn't anything good to actually copy, and as I said earlier you want to win as soon as possible.
So to replace both of these cards are two Argent Commanders. These guys are far more helpful than the two control cards.
Another change is the Frothing Berserker in exchange for the Flesheating Ghoul.
More changes to come and thanks again for reading.
Edit 3: Switched out a couple more cards. To make this deck super AGGRO. The changes are Stormwind Champion for a Dark Iron Dwarf. Also switched out Defender of Argus for a Mortal Strike. This quickens the pace of the deck ensuring that you will close out the game before the opponent can make it to the late game.
Thanks for all the views and upvotes. I love the response I'm getting for my first deck shared. You guys are great, enjoy! :D
I have recent acquired Gromash. Is there anywhere in this deck for him?
I'm really new and can't seem to get anywhere in the arena so i'm just getting 100G and buying packs and doing ranked ( currently only at 15 ).
I'm going to go for the new edits as I have a few cards I can get rid of.
Cheers
Ryan
If you're going to add Gromash you will also need a way to activate him. Without an easy way to activate his enrage same turn you play him he isn't worth a slot in the deck.
This deck looks like some of the old "grab 20 cards that everyone uses" decks. Warrior's card draw isn't actually sufficient to make a zoo deck because the highest drawing card Battle Rage isn't reliable without whirlwinds or other damaging effects. Also if you do want it to be a zoo deck why on earth do you not have 2x Warsong Commander?
I haven't tried the deck, but I see no cards with draw power except the occasional cult master. Don't you run out of cards? I'm sure an aggro lock would have the upper hand since he can spam-draw.
I think you're missing the point of an Aggro deck. I've played this deck and win easily 90% of my ranked games. The lack of draw power isn't a big deal because you'll usually kill your opponent before it becomes a problem, and a warlock would probably just be hurting himself (quite literally) by life tapping and bringing your victory one or two turns sooner.
I personally think that wouldn't be the best idea. The way I play this deck is extremely aggro and I very rarely use Arcanite Reaper on anything but the enemy hero, It could work and adds a little versatility but I think the two durability on the Reaper makes it better.
I'm not sure how i feel about this deck. Some pretty bad cards in it *cough*Stormwind Champion*cough*. I feel like the standard enrage spam deck is a lot better and more synergistic with warrior.
Pretty nice deck. Replaced Stormwind Champion with Grommash and a Cult Master with Faceless. It has some minor card draw issues, but you're normally far enough ahead that it doesn't matter.
Defender of Argus seems out of place, I might consider replacing it with another Cult Master.
Giving it a go now, new to the game and new to warrior so should be good to try a low cost deck out!
Edit : I'm smashing with this deck, I didn't quite have enough for every card so I swapped a 1 or 2 out. Going well so far!
Edit Edit : Rank 15 without a loss from 25, not bad!
Thanks man
Noice! From my experiences, the lower the rank, the more effective aggro is. At about rank 10 people start using more anti aggro and intense control decks. Good luck! I'm glad you are enjoying it :D
I played around with this a little and it really needs more card draw. It just runs out of steam so easily against any other deck that has a fair amount of it. Their card advantage makes it a breeze to steal tempo when the minions of this deck generally run with only a little health, and then you're just sitting with your pants around your ankles since a lot of these cards are combos.
I've been playing the deck from 25 to 16 and I've never had a problem like that. I think you're probably just playing aggro wrong. Also I don't think very many cards in this deck are combos either, I would recommend watching some aggro decks being played on YouTube or Twitch.
Deathwing seems like it could be a great replacement for Brawl. In fact, it might be better than brawl. Think of it this way. Deathwing is essentially a 10 drop brawl, with the subtext being "ensures a 12/12 friendly survives the fight." That's a pretty good deal.
When I play this deck, I wouldn't normally lose board control as early as turn 5. So generally you won't even need brawl until the later turns anyways. It's brilliant! :D However it makes the deck super expensive on dust, so I won't be adding it to this decklist.
Ragnaros the Firelord This is where you start to change play styles if you go with legendaries like him or Leeroy Jenkins. In this deck, these two legendaries would be used as game closers. With rag, best case scenario is 8 damage will go to the face. (other best case is 8 damage finishes off a giant taunt like Ancient of War, however this will allow your opponent to have next turn to finish off your other minions. And if they aren't able to do that, you probably already had the game in the bag anyways.)
Because this deck is about board control and not rush down, Leeroy is a definite no. Rag has greater utility but you leave it up to RNG. So that's up to your discretion.
Alexstrasza would probably be the worst your options. By turn 9 your opponent is probably already lower than 15 health and your hero will more than likely be above 15. When I lose with this deck, it's generally past turn 10. (Except in an aggro match up, but I don't think alex will help much against an aggro) If you are using Alex in a last ditch effort to survive one more turn, you more than likely will not win. In fact, Alex will more often than not just end up a dead card in your hand.
King Mukla might even be worse. While using this deck, you cannot afford to give the opponent advantage over you. It's definitely possible to have a turn 3 or even turn 2 5/3 Bloodsail Raider. So I would also say no to Mukla.
I hope this helps you, or at least gives something to consider. :D
tl;dr Deathwing is a winner for this deck. Basically an OP Brawl.
