Hi guys this is the deck I've played from rank 5 to legend. This is a bit different from the shaman you normally see. I well give a explanation for every card in the deck and their purpose, as well as why some cards which did not make the cut

So first we have Earth Shock. This is the silence of the deck and also works as a one damage, I play two because vs control warriors I cant afford to hex their cairne or sylvanas, so slience is the next best thing. The reason I play earth shock over other silence creatures is because of the damage. Its the best card to kill twilight drakes and it combos well with all the spell damage of the deck not to mention is good for facing zoo decks as a small removal.

Two Forked Lightning. This might seem like a strange choice to most people. After all its gonna over load 2 mana and thats a lot to take in. But the reason why this card is in the deck is because of the meta. Zoo, hunter and the new aggro mage deck. Most cases its a 1 for 2, and vs control decks i try to combo it with spell damage to milk its max value. This is the card you want to look for when facing zoo, it saved me many games and lets u take back the board. However before using it, do plan ur next turn cuz it does overload quite a bit.

Lightning Bolt. Its a great card, a must have for every shaman.

Rockbitter Weapon. another staple card for shaman but in this deck, i try to save to rockbitter for the wind lord, unless im facing a zoo/warlock. I toss it back cuz I need as much removal as possible for the zoo match up.Other than that, having a lighting bolt is much better in the  starting hand just cuz spell damage can boost it and it buff unbound.

Bloodmage Thalnos. Great card, It boost spell damage, try to hold on to it for a when u really need the bonus damage and dont wanna yolo totem.

Single Flame-tongue Totem. Why only one? It so much value! Because in the current meta, there are a lot of zoo and huntards, zoo will always clear ur board so a lot of times it doesnt have much value and hunters...well....yea im sure u all know. For me, i only play it when i want the extra 2 damage for my minions to trade or i play it in combo with the windlord for a finisher or just board clear. Its a great card, but theres not enough opportunity in the current meta to fully abuse this card.  

Feral Spirit. It your best friend in this aggro heavy meta, great card, not much to say other than plan the over load.

Hex. Well no shit, froggy is much more friendly than a 8/8 that throws random fireballs at you. Jokes aside, this is actually a tricky card to use, and while im climbing the ladder I see many lower ranks(even sometimes high ranks) players playing this card at the wrong time. It really depends on ur match up, if ur facing control warriors, dont hex anything under 7 mana unless u absolutely have to. it doesnt matter if u have to trade 2 or 3 cards for it. You WILL need it more as the game drags on, unless ur ending it in a turn or 2. Its really just about knowing what deck ur opponent is playing and think if you hex this, well there be something bigger you cant kill. Play this card carefully, it could determine the out come of the game.

Lightning Storm, of course u gota play two of them in this aggro heavy meta, not much needs to be said, but do try to save it when u face zoo, i know killing 2 or 3 small creatures might seems tempting, but wiping a entire board is much more satisfying.

Single Earthen Ring Farseers. Just a tec card I added, when facing the zoo and hunter match up, the 3 hp could make a difference. Or vs control u can use to to heal a damaged minion. 

Unbound Elemental. You got so many over loads in the deck this guy should have no problem getting big. Good opponents will kill it off the turn its played, it often baits out removal for ur other cards, or u can play it and on the same turn combo it with a overload, over all very strong card.

Chillwind Yeti. Welcome to value town, this card is great, gives a lot of trading value and it isnt even bad to draw it late game.

Defender of Argus. Awesome card, taunt up a yeti or two, Since most taunt cards in the game have lower than average stats, this guy is pretty much the only neutral taunt u wanna play, other than shield masta.

Azure Drake. Not much needs to be said, fair stats, draw power AND spell damage? This card is MADE for shaman

Cairne Bloodhoof. This card is just too much value to miss out on. it might be a bit slow, but the values!!!

Fire Elemental. Pshhhh no big deal, only just the reason why I even play shaman. No explaining needed, we all know its op.

Al'akir the Windlord. This is a love it or hate it kind of card, it sealed the game for me sooo many times with rockbitter. This guy is actually pretty decent even if u just drop him. Since in the current meta zoo and hunters are everywhere. This guy gives u pretty good protection/removal, and also serves as a finisher.

Ragnaros the Firelord. I hate the rng of this card sooooo much....but its just too good to not play. be very careful of big game hunters, i normally defender my fire ele or flametongue it to bait out of big game. overall, very strong card. and a staple to most midranged and control decks.

So those are all the cards I play, and now ill go over the reason why I dont play some of the cards.

Leeroy. Its a pretty good card, but if leeroy is to be played in the deck, i would have to play windfury to combo it as a finisher. I personally really hate it as a removal just because of the welps, and theres plenty of removals in the deck so this card is not needed. When I look at combos, I value them as individual cards as well, the windlord is better because it also serves as a taunt, even though it cost more mana, in this meta, with so many aggro decks, u really do need the protection. Also windfury is a pretty bad card unless u use it as a finisher, it gets stuck in the hand a lot of times. While rockbitter can always be still used as a cheap damage.

Mana Tide Totem. Great card, really is good but again, this is a more rush meta, slow cards like this is only good in control match ups and the only control we see these days are warrior and druid. and they both have efficient 3 damage removal. It was a close call but it didnt make the cut. I will play one or two when the meta is more about control decks

Doom Hammer or Stormforged axe. Yes they are easy cheap removals but be reminded shaman dont have heal. Damage will stick. Playing weapons will get u card advantage but not health advantage. Plus most of the meta decks have pretty strong finishers, I dont want to rush into my own grave.

Earth Elemental. I used to like it but when it gets big games or hard removal, its hard to come back from the momentum lose. And this deck do rely on the momentum to win so its kind of a risky play. High risk high reward. But im not much of a gambler.

BloodLust. I dont like card at all, again, in this meta, u either cant get a big board or u dont want to get a big board due to unleash. and if u always have a big board for blood lust to be effective, u pretty much gonna win in a turn or two, dead card most of the time.
