Intro: This is the deck I'm using, it's a spin off from the giant mage deck, I'm concidering a few tweaks that I'll have to test out before updating deck list.
My experiences with this deck is about 50 or so ranked games, winning about 90%
About: It's good allround, you got good boardclearing and incredible late game combos with alexstrasza + double molten giant for instance. or malygos pyro. In a single turn with this deck you can do 39 damage to an opponent. It's a really durable deck, you can stay at 1vs30 hp for many turns, and still succeed. Which I imagine is quite annoying to lose against :)
Playstyle: Stack up cards in your hand and keep clearing the board when you have to, don't be affraid to lose hp, you got secrets and freezes to keep you alive. I usually play my stonegiants as early as possible, and save all other cards but carddraw until my giants are in play. Lategame is where the fun begins, when you can play the dragons and molten giants + some pyros it's a safe win :)
The deck is quite expensive, but well worth it IMO. glhf
EDIT: Removed a Novice Engineer in favor for Doomslayer
EDIT: Added a few earlier cards like Argus, Twilight and cairne for some more board presence. Argus + double molten giant in 1 turn is always fun.
not bad, but this has a snowball's chance in hell of achieving 90% on ladder. this is going to have unfavorable matchups almost every game against hunter and will struggle against zoo as well without the right draws. on top of that, you have some very questionable card choices in novice engineer, ysera, and that 2nd pyroblast.
you should consider acolyte of pain who is probably going to provide you more value in most situations. antonidas is going to give you more win conditions than ysera too. maybe during beta this would have worked better, but the curve is horrendous and there are too many dead cards. as it is, at best this is a mediocre deck that will struggle to win 55-60% once youre out of practice mode and rank 20s (my assumption since you won "50 or so ranked games, and haven't lost a single one yet".
0 bs, lost my first game yesterday though, I've only been playing like 10-15 games after each season reset only, so haven't tested it vs higher ranked players
i've gotta call bs on the "50 or so ranked games, and haven't lost a single one yet". very cool concept though! Malygos is a personal favorite and i can only imagine how satisfying a boosted Pyroblast is to get off. In the current meta where you lose, on average, by turn 6 it doesn't fair well though. The woes of a mage in an aggro dominated world :/
