Strategy:

1) Try to mulligan Argent Squire, Knife Juggler, Flametongue Totem, Lightning Strike, Earth Shock depening on the class you are facing. You may wish to mulligan Feral Spirit and Mana Tide Totem if you think the Mana Tide Totem can survive couple of rounds.

2) Gain control of the board by using your totems, taunts and removals efficiently. Try not to overload your side against Hunters, be careful with Rogue removal spells before unleashing a combo. Watch out for Priest steal spells at round 10. Knife Juggler will help you well until midrange/late game. Use your +1 Spell Damage and Thalnos wisely.

3) Finish variations are Leeroy + Windfury, Earth Elemantal + Winfury, with or without Flametongue Totem.

Synergy:

Ancestral Spirit is extremly versatile in this deck and offers great synergy to many minions. Ancestral Spirit goes well with Earth Elemantal, for 7 Mana (5+2) you can have it twice, making it extremly hard for anyone to grind through. Once it is up and the opponent does not have Hex/Sheep/TBK/BGH at hand it may secure victory then and there. Paired with Windfury it offers a 14dmg counter attack after enduring a hoard of murlocs for example.

Ancestral Spirit with Cairne Bloodhoof will respawn you another Cairne Bloodhoof and Baine Bloodhoof. If this happens during endgame it might give you a very strong board position depending on the situation.

Ancestral Spirit with Sylnava Windrunner will take control of a random minion and will respawn Sylvana Windrunner again to take control of another minion if possible.

 

Replacements:

Some cards can be easily replaced. Forked Lightning might give you yet another removal, Rockbiter Axe can remove or help finish. Leeroy can be replaced with Al Akir, or The Black Knight can be replaced with Al Akir, etc. You might also consider Ancestral Healing as it has a good synergy with The Black Knight for removal or an extra taunt out of practically anything else. Ancestral Healing also works well with the Injured Blademaster. Knife Juggler/Acidic Swamp Ooze/Wild Pyromancer/Unbound Elemental if needed. Also useful is the replacement The Black Knight with Gadgetzan Auctioneer should you struggle to hide your Mana Tide Totems behind Taunts, the Auctionner might give you the extra edge instead of TBH.
