Combo-Rogue Deck
Introduction
Hello guys, My name is Mattias I am from Denmark, I've played hearthstone for quiet awhile now (since way back in the beta), and I've finally constructed a deck that I am proud of, and like to play, so I thought why not go ahead and share it :)
Well without further ado lets jump into the deck
The main idea about this deck is to just draw and survive until you have the right cards, and then drop them with conceal and next turn BOOM you win... no...matter...what.
So how does this work? SIMPLE you draw one of these combos and then spam your abilities to kill your opponent!
The deck
Staying alive and drawing
When you get in the game you want to mulligan anything that isn't Backstab, Shiv, Mana Addict, Conceal. The Fan of Knives would be a good idea if you feel that you are against aggro decks, Usually Warlocks.
When the game starts you are aiming to keep as much board control as possible with your Shiv & Backstab meanwhile you passively replace/draw new cards, that is why Shiv and Fan of Knives is awesome, you are just aiming to get your Mana Addict(s), Conceal & Gadgetzan Auctioneer
Threats
Let's not lie, this deck is counter-able, I will just run a list of cards that can screw this deck [Will update as I proceed playing the deck]
Hunter
Deadly Shot - Without any other minions this will kill either your Mana Addict or Gadgetzan Auctioneer, having a SI:7 Agent or Coldlight Oracle on board will save you here.
Multi-Shot - will kill of your Mana Addict if you have 2 cards out, don't play both Mana Addicts at once if you are against Hunter
Flare - Not many uses this, and if they do they will probably use it for draw since you have no secrets as Rogue, but if he doesn't this might kill your stealth and kill you, no counter yet, I'm looking into some taunts in the deck.
Paladin
Avenging Wrath - Only way is to hope it won't hit your minions enough.
Warrior
Brawl - RNG killing your board.
Rogue
Blade Flurry - With a strong weapon this will kill you Assasins blade or Deadly Poison or both
Mage
Flamestrike - Lets face it, both your minions has less health than this card has damage, and if you get them out at turn 6/7 this card will just destroy you, bait it out somehow with SI:7 Agent, by having board control the Mage MIGHT use this.
Arcane Missile - This CAN kill of your Mana Addict, but most likely wont happend.
Blizzard - Fuck this card. If played Shadowstep your cards and play them again.
Frost Nova - Fuck this, Shadowstep or Conceal again
Shaman
Lightning Storm - This.. Card... Must... Die... REALLY 3 cost? Well you might be lucky that it hits for 2 and he didn't get spell power totem!
Forked Lightning - With spell power it hurts.
Priest
Mass Dispel - Just like AOE freeze, just worse, Shadowstep IS the ONLY counter here
Warlock
Hellfire - kills your Mana Addict, try to bait them with your SI:7 Agent, Hellfire isn't used that much, because most Warlock decks is Aggro, but if they are Handlocks you will have a problem.
Shadowflame - Might kill your whole board
Neutral
Ragnaros the Firelord - This might hit your stuff, but not that important, won't happend, never happened to me.
Knife Juggler - This might kill off your stuff if you are against Aggro decks
Combos that goes Lethal:
Leeroy Jenkins + 2x Shadowstep + 2xCold Blood
10 mana -> 6+6+6+4+4 = 26 damage
You play Leeroy Jenkins, buff him up with Cold Blood and Shadowstep him, play him again and Shadowstep and play him again.
Mana Addict + Mana Addict + Conceal
(possibly add Gadgetzan Auctioneer if you have +5 mana (10))
5 mana cost (10 with Gadgetzan Auctioneer)
When you get this combo out, Conceal it and if you enemy has no way to board clear them you win next turn, with no doubt! if he plays taunts you Sap them, other than that all you do is spam your spells (draw more with Gadgetzan Auctioneer but shouldn't be needed if you have 2 mana addicts) and because of the Rogue low cost spells you can buff your Mana Addicts to maximum damage and do a 20~80 damage in 1 turn.
Preparation and Cold Blood is what makes this possible!
If you don't have 2 x Mana Addict in your hand 1 x Mana Addict and 1 x Gadgetzan Auctioneer works just as well!
Additional information:

Rank 6 here decided to direct copy this and try it out, this is how I went,
Loss - Loss - Loss - Win - Loss - Loss - Loss - Loss
Alright, this deck is crazy crap, let me explain. You fish for your cards at the start, the ones you really gotta fish for are your combo cards. Gadgetz and Mana Addict, also hoping you draw some low cost mana cards along the way to 5 mana. If you don't get some helpful removal cards, your pittance 1 dmg auto's will be easy nullified. When you do draw the cards you need, you have to have conceal or they are 100% dead. With your opponent having literally nothing else to use their removals on, un-stealthed Gadgetz and Mana Addict are quite simply, suicidal, dead next turn cards.
It's a game of luck, and if you don't have the right starting cards, you're in for a hell of a game. This maybe fun for that 1 in 5 win when you can push out 25+ dmg in a single turn, but the stars need to align for that. Although they do align, the frequency of such events is in such a low percentile that the deck is not worth playing competitively, and quite frankly, if you're looking to do rogue quests, you're best to choose a more consistent deck. These types of decks are all touch and go. They rely too heavily on certain cards and, in a game that has random values, you're destined for some rough times.
If they put out more than 1 minion a turn, you will lose. The same goes for if they have an early taunt that you can't get rid of, feirie dragon, coin druid etc, the amount of match ups that this deck loses to is too high compared to the ones you have an easy time with. Relying so heavily on cards such as reveal and gadgetz makes the deck weak as the power is centred on only a few. What happens when you don't have those cards? What happens when those cards are really hard to play? You stealth your mana addicts they can still be hit by aoe.. etc. So even when you do have your cards, you're still doing a minor gamble by using them, and really, really hoping that they don't die.
And then another issue, by the time you have got to turn 5+ playing as minimal as you can, you're most likely taking a real pounding. Which then means they have board control, without the control you can't play safely.
It's sad, but the consistency just isn't there. I can't imagine a 70-80% win past rank 12. If so, please record it and upload, otherwise I must call some bullshit.
Awesome concept. I was thinking of making an OTK rogue when I get the cards for it but how do you plan on staying alive until that combo is possible? Sorry if it sounds stupid just trying to wrap my head around it.
It's just that in the game game showed they didn't actually drop many minions and you pretty much had board control the whole game. Do you think it's worth dropping a fan of knives for another Perdition's Blade for that little bit more removal?
Alright, thanks :)
