Just had a blast with this deck. A little twist w/ Alexstrasza, but why not? (EDIT: the card really isn't a "twist" anymore: everyone's running it.)

Doing pretty well with it so far, 14-3 as of Thursday morning.

Why it works: You have 6 board clears, all of them very effective and very cheap. Unlike normal Miracle rogue, it's easy to deal with early threats, and it's also super easy to cycle with your 1-mana Auctioneer. And, because few people are playing heals or other truly defensive mechanics, you can rather easily burst in for lethal much earlier than the traditional style.

I wish that there were a set-in-stone mulligan guide and and a little gameplan help for newer players to this sort of deck, but how you play the deck is often dictated by your starting hand and what's available, to a degree much higher than normal. Should you hit on Malygos early on, you'll be looking for your damage spells. If you start with an auctioneer, you may want to look for a Shadowstep, or some other small, recyclable spell. Should you get Alexstrasza, you CAN use her turn 1 to face, BUT I find that it's better saved for when you can deal 15 damage that turn or very soon, as Antique Healbot is becoming a more common inclusion. There are other ways to win with this deck, notably shadowstepping Boom and going face with Alexstrasza, but those are much more rare.

Other cards to consider:

Baron Geddon: Another board wipe, and in some situations, a lethal push. Not included in the normal deckist due to an aggro meta and the high probability that life total will matter.

Antique Healbot: Currently, many players are running Alex, as mentioned above, and often use it on your face T1. This is a pretty good counter, as with enough health, you can often use hero power to take control of the game. If the aggro state of the union dies down a bit, then one could replace this out with Baron, but I doubt it will.

Onyxia: Fills the board with 1/1's. Not included in the decklist primarily because we really don't care to much about board control, and by filling the board, we can't play down minions after her on the same turn. Also, she's very susceptible to board clears that would normally be dead cards in the opponent's hand.

Edwin VanCleef: He actually works very well with the deck as a whole, and is in the same pool as Malygos. If you want to add him in, you probably ought to change around a few more cards, especially the bigger spells, to suit him better. Keep in mind: I tried this variant out, 50% of the time he worked well, 50% of the time he got countered.

Malygos: A great card for any spell-heavy deck in this format, although by adding him in, you do have to cut either one of the spells he works with, or one of the vital minions. Still, a good idea. However, should you go along this route, I would cut 1x Assassin's Blade and 1x Oil for 1x Blade Flurry and some other direct damage of choice.

EDIT: Replaced Southsea Deckhand with Argent Commander for, well, obvious reasons.

EDIT #2: Replaced 1x Argent Commander with Assassin's Blade. Maybe it's just me, but so, so often, there isn't enough pressure, taunts, or freezing to prevent me from building up a huge weapon and going face with that, and I'm finding that that's how I win a LOT of my games.

EDIT #3: Added in an Antique Healbot due to high number of aggro matchups.

EDIT #4: Added in Malygos over Conceal. With such a high number of anti-stealth board clears, stealthed minions are NOT doing as well as they were at the brawl's start. The only reason I hesitated on this is because whenever you add in another minion over a cheap spell, you reduce Gadgetzan's ability to cycle cards through. If you don't have the card, which I expect to hear about a LOT, the best replacement would be Edwin VanCleef or another cheap spell, probably Shadowstep #2.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: As I created this deck, I tried to balance out card cost (in dust), effectiveness, and the fun factor. Some compromises had to be made. I hate to throw into the deck list a card as rare as Malygos, but, sadly, the power level of the decks you face has grown exponentially since the start of the Brawl.

In addition, there have been a LOT of questions asking "Does this still work? I'm getting crushed by X." Or "I love the deck, and I beat the crap out of Y, but I can't just seem to win against Z, how do I do that?" The answer, sadly, is to throw in more OP legendaries. Ragnaros comes to mind, and so does Faceless Manipulator. I have looked for other solutions to this, because I think that this change would only increase the Pay-To-Win-ness of the Tavern Brawl, but most players still playing the brawl are MUCH better equipped to kill you OTK MUCH more quickly than at the brawl's start. I will tell you out of the gate: most of the decks you play against, if not all, are not as fun as this one. It's essentially, "If I draw X, Y, and Z, and either A or B, I win immediately." While that seems cool to start with, there's little skill involved (comparatively to this deck) and, believe me, I've tried it: it gets boring.
