Easy rank 5 super cheap mech mage

I'm a f2p player and i wanted to share with you a super-cheap deck that i used to rank up from rank 17 to rank 5 in just three days.

First of all, if you have a lot of cards and dusts and you're searching for some high-level deck, this is not what you want to see, this is a deck for people that never seriously did ladder and want to take the rank 5 reward chest with a cheap and fast deck, ideal to rank up in little time.

Second, I'm sorry i cannot show the win rate of this deck because i don't use trackers when i play ladder, but i can tell it was something like 80% from rank 17 to rank 7 and 65% from rank 7 to rank 5

Anyway, i know that there are slightly better mech mages out there, but this version is probably the most performing compared to the price (there are no epics and leggendaries and just two rares).

It seems kinda ridicoulus to me to put a "rank 5 proof" but whatever.

 

Mulligans:

1)against aggro:  Annoy-o-Tron , Frostbolt , Mechwarper , Goblin Blastmage , Cogmaster , Mad Scientist

2)Against control: Mechwarper Piloted Shredder , Gorillabot A-3 , Mad Scientist

3)Cards you want against weapon classes: Snowchugger ,  Water Elemental , Annoy-o-Tron , Frostbolt

If you have the coin always keep Mana Wyrm, sometimes you even want to keep Arcane Intellect against controls like Reno decks.

Match Ups:

The cool part of this deck is that it have a good match up against secretdins, face-shamans and control warriors, while it got an even match up against hunters and druids, instead it  suffers from reno decks, priests and mid-range paladins, but the latter two are very rare in this season, especially before rank 5.

Hints for dummies:

1) Use the gorillabot to find a late game against controls.

2) Play always the cogmaster at turn 1, even if you don't have mechs in your hand, you will probably draw one.

3) You have tons of freeze effects, using them in the right way it's essential to make this deck work.

4) You will want to use the fireballs only on face and on taunt 80% of the time.

5) Blastmage is the strongest swing you have against aggros, use it properly.

Changes in the deck you could take:

If you don't have LOE, you could remove a Gorillabot A-3 for a Tinkertown Technician or a Mechanical Yeti

if you don't have Naxxramas:

1)you could remove a Loatheb for a Ethereal Conjurer , Gorillabot A-3 , Clockwork Knight , Azure Drake  (these are kinda bad changes, but Loatheb is kinda essential)

2)You could remove two Mad Scientist and two Mirror Entity for two Tinkertown Technician , one Mechanical Yeti and one Gorillabot A-3 (even these changes are kinda bad, but naxxramas is really fundamental nowadays)

If you have good cards like: Dr. Boom , Fel Reaver , Piloted Sky Golem just add them.

Some guidelines you can take:

2) 2 or 1 Piloted Sky Golem and 1 Dr. Boom

Then i would suggest to replace these cards:

1 Arcane Intellect , 1 Gorillabot A-3 and 1 Mana Wyrm OR 2 Mana Wyrm and 1 Arcane Intellect .

The reason of these changes are that you are going to put more "weight" in the deck, so you will not need to draw so much or discover a late game with the Gorillabot A-3 . the Mana Wyrm instead is a card that works better the more the deck is aggro, so it just doesn't deserve his place anymore.

I did this guide for people that wanted an easy and cheap way to reach rank 5 in ladder, i hope it will be of some help for people like me that 1 week ago was wondering what i could seriously play without tons of epics and leggendaries or using the classic cheap huntard deck that is hard countered this season.
