Before anything a quick disclaimer. Many people create decks and go like "no guide untill I get xxx upvotes". Some do it out of lazyness, some do it as their strategy to get their deck to the main page, but the fact remains that those decks get more upvotes, just beacuse poeple upvote only to get the guide. Now I don't want to do it. I'm publishing a deck with full guide so everyone can see how the deck is supposed to play out. So please, if you like the deck, if you like the guide, remember to leave that upvote :)
Also check out my other 2 decks!
1) The version of secret paladin I play (legend ready deck):

2) A fun warlock OTK deck (not for ranked play):

Hey everyone! Distress here with a new deck.
A quick introduction for those of you who don't know me. The name's Distress. I'm multiple legend player that is also running a youtube channel that you can check out here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/DistressQQ
Now for the deck. Unusual one and also amazingly good one. I've had some really good results at legend rank with this deck. A dragon druid. Now I know what you're thinking, druid doesn't have any dragon class cards, why bother. Well here's why. Druids got something no other class has. RAMP. You can speed up the game, go into late game much earlier and start pumping out the real big stuff one by one. And dragons are inheritly very strong mid game, making it even easier to get to that sweet sweet late game.
Now let's start off with video guides. If you don't want to read, everything that is in this guide and even more is in the video guides. I encourage you to watch the video instead of reading :) (well I'm youtuber, what'd you expect, duh)
1) Deck guide:

3) Bonus: My video with tips on how to get legend easier:

Now for the written part of the guide. I'm not going to cover much here, because everything is in the video, but I am going to cover card swaps and mulligains, because that's something you may want to have an easy access to.
Card swaps:
If you want to remove any cards, I'd start with theese 3 :
1) Zombie Chow - One zombie chow wasn't enough, but two are often cloggy it's up to you whether you choose to run 1 or 2
2) Faerie Dragon a plain 3/2 two drop. He's here JUST to increase the dragon count in the deck. Can be easily replaced, but the less dragons in the deck, the less stable the deck becomes
3) Brann Bronzebeard this card can be as awesome as it can be bad. There are 11 battlecries in the deck, so bran is very strong, but by no means is it a 3 drop and the deck lacks early game. So this card slows the deck down even more. You may want to switch him up for either something faster or more stable.
Cards that you might want to put in:
1) Darnassus Aspirant adds to your early game, is part of the ramp, but just about every pro on the earth will agree that this card is way overrated and is on the weak side. Nonethe less if you want you could add it to the deck
2) Keeper of the Grove because 2 silences are better than one
3) Piloted Shredder it's just a uber strong card
4)Druid of the Claw / Sludge Belcher - to add more taunts
5) Loatheb for the most part I was running this card instead of brann, and well. It's much more consistent. Much more powerfull by it self, but brann allows for much flashier comboes
6) Deathwing I was actually running this card for a long time. It can win games, sure, but in the end I found it way too inconsistent. Still it's super fun to play, so you may want to tuck it in
7) Chillmaw I don't use him, cuz I don't have him, but I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from the people that teched him in
Mulligaining:
Always keep:
chow, wrath, wild growth, blackwing technician (if got a dragon in hand)
VS Aggro:
twilight guardian (if drake in hand)
VS Paladin:
Swipe (if already got a 1 or 2 drop
check my zoo brann deck guys if u like to reach legend easly :)
seems really good after a few games! just a question.. what do you think about changing one Blackwing Technician with one Kezan Mystic ?
Great deck man, and great job pulling it together, it's really fun, even if you lose it's 90% times because paladins have cars for everything and they never ran out of things to bust whatever they encounter. If there's one reason this deck doesn't reach a solid 90% of winrate it's cuz Paladin's mom is rulling blizzard as of now.
Cheers!
I adore this deck, so much fun. This is my experience v's agro, if they get god hand you loose. If they have average draw, you can win. V'S control it's SO much fun.
The below was a game I played just now. I turn 99 (joking), i played Boom, innervate, innervate, boom. I wish I could have seen the opponent's face! Such love for this deck!

getting destroyed by aggro paladin
Having a decent amount of success against ladder around rank 8-10. I haven't found Chillmaw extremely useful yet and the faerie dragon seems like an unneeded extra dragon. I find you typically pull a huge dragon within the first 4 turns which can be used as an activator until it is played. I haven't tried a theory out yet but I believe that due to Brann being in the deck that 1 Antique Healbot could be really solid. This deck really shines when it sets up board control to allow you to pull off the combos that make the match impossible to lose. I just find that against faster decks I'm having trouble getting the board set up d/t the health I'm at around turn 8 and 9. If I test the healbot I'll post my results. Brann Bronzebeard + Antique Healbot = 16 health
People have wanted winrates. I have a 72.7% winrate on ladder over 22 matches. (16-6)
Well, Chillmaw sometimes helps against final rapm druid's rush )))
How does this deck have so many upvotes but most people report poor results in comments? I love the dragon archetype and would very much like to play this, but can anyone provide their win rate, rank reached with it or something else that would be useful instead of "hoping it works"?
Alright thanks, I guess there's no other way to make sure other than to play it. :) I crafted the cards needed yesterday as part of a greater strategy anyway. Will post how it goes.
As someone who'd like to make a Dragon deck for every class (Even Rogue), I'd love to give this a try!
How crucial would you say Alexstrasza is in this deck? Could she be replaced with another big dragon (Maybe Nefarian, since I see you've cut Nefarian for Chillmaw?)
I'm sorry. Probably I'm just very stupid person, but this deck take me from 12 to 14 with winrate 3-6 :(
I'm playing 2 years and trying to do my best, but I just can't handle the pressure of almost every deck: patron, secret paladin, facehunter, freezemage, etc..
This deck really works, although I think I got a bit lucky. I didn't keep track myself, but my deck tracker said I went 12-1 on the way to rank 5. Thank you for the deck.
I think Brann is okay in this deck, although only 9 of the battlecries apply to him. The effects of both BGH and Alex being replicated does not matter.
I played this deck for about 2 hrs and went 10-5 with it in ranked.
I found it extremely fun to play and very strong once you reach around the 8 mana mark when you can start playing chromaggus. I got two Alexstrasza's from my chromaggus, which made my opponent really sad as he had just Reno'd.
Greedy, Inconsistent and Ineffective.
Why is it that anytime someone offers a dissenting opinion it is immediately met with downvotes and the tired dogma, "It's you, not the deck." As if it is not possible that a bad experience COULD happen or that a deck might have issues?
Did I play 1000 games with detailed stats? No. I played more than a dozen game with a 20% winrate.
However according to your "logic," ending up with a post mulligan hand of: Lore, Ysera, Chillmaw, and Boom is because I suck.
My sincerest apologies for not having the RNG to make your deck work. *laughs*
I like the deck idea, but after testing it a bit I felt that it had too much draw power in it, thus I swapped out 2 lores for 1Ancient of War and 1 Chillmaw. Also I swapped Faerie Dragon for Acidic swap ooze
Played this deck once so far on casual since I'm testing and it was incredibly fun. Played a pally and was able to innervate a 3/6 twilight taunt on turn 2. Never looked back haha. Really enjoyed and hope I keep having success.
Easy wins tonight. Got me from rank 16 to 12 in about an hour. One cool win vs a control warrior. Played Nefarian which got me an Inner Rage and Execute. I was like hell yeah. I sh|t you not, he played Ysera his next turn. How convenient! He didn't like me destroying his big dragon with his cards lol.
I still have Alexstrasza removed and added in Starfall. Starfall has saved me a hell of a lot more times than Alexstrasza would have.
I'm thinking of removing both Zombie Chow and adding in two Raven Idol. There's have been a couple games I would draw Zombie Chow late and I couldn't play it because it would basically give them five health. At least this way if I draw the Raven Idol late, I could pick a spell.
Deck gets destroyed even in casual...aggro meta ruins the fun for everyone...HS sucks
