**3/29/14 - Tidesoftime switched the nerfed Nat Pagle with Knife Juggler. hooray!**
If you google Tidesoftime shaman deck, you currently get the old one from before the Tinkmaster Overspark nerf, this is his current build.
Works very well against common meta decks at all levels such as Zoo Warlock, handlock, giant decks, token druid, and tons of removal for those occasional murlocks. The largest problem would likely be UTH hunters, but it is possible to play around unleash the doggies by not spamming totems as you usually would.
The legendaries are more replaceable than in most decks you see nowadays, and contains only one epic so I would say it is rather affordable.
Bloodmage Thalnos --> Kobold Geomancer: The same thing minus card draw.
Knife Juggler --> Bloodlust or Acidic Swamp Ooze or Wild Pyromancer or Big Game Hunter etc.
*** No longer Nat Pagle *** *** 2 card replacement to Al'Akir still recommended! ***
Nat Pagle (now Knife Juggler or variation) + Al'Akir the Windlord or Bloodlust + Sunwalker or Bloodlust + Earth Elemental
Nat Pagle is rather unique, although you could produce a shadow of the effect with Loot Hoarder - but usually if you do not have Nat Pagle you will not have Al'Akir the Windlord either (as a less popular legendary), and replacing the latter takes two cards. Those who argue his usefullness simply have not played enough Shaman or do not even own him. His combination of control and burst potential with a Flametongue Totem, or double Rockbiter Weapon is an excellent finisher. Replacements that fill those roles are Bloodlust (with obscene finisher burst), and either Sunwalker or Earth Elemental depending on your preference for high end control.
If you own Al'Akir the Windlord but not Nat Pagle or simply have terrible RNG with him, and prefer something else there is the option of Wild Pyromancer or Bloodlust. If you favor subtlety over brute force, you can use Wild Pyromancer to great effect in clearing early game rush decks, and is what I call the "third Lightning Storm" all game long. If you would rather stomp your opponent's face in, Bloodlust is a cheese way of doing just that. I myself alternate between the two every couple games and have yet to decide on which I prefer. Try out both and see which you enjoy most, there is no bad pick here.
Good luck, have fun, and hit legend!

great deck. went from rank 20 to 14 before i lost my first match. looking forward to seeing how far a noob like me can get. keep 'em coming
What are your thoghts on Ragnaros the Firelore? I have one but don't have the legendaries in ur decks? Can I put that in this deck? Is it suitable?
@342351775, Rag is as strong as it seems at first glance. With that said, it does not synergize with the deck strategy too well - it is simply a powerful drop regardless of synergy. In your case I would say he is an acceptable replacement to the Pagle slot. Yet keep my recommendations on the two-card replacement of Al'Akir.
so i just leave out Kobold Geomancer and play rag?
Kobold is very valuable. You will often run into situation when you need just one more spell power, and Kobold saves you from relying on the totem RNG for that last bit of power to your crucial board clear like lightning storm. You never just throw it down to have minions on the field, you hold it in your hand for the crucial moment and it works wonders. I would say it does me more good than Pagle.
I personally would not axe kobold over pagle, but it of course is up to you since I am rather biased against pagle after last patch. It seems counterintuitive, but the massive mid-game board clears that kobold often lets me set up can be more of an impact than turn 8 rag regardless of how amazing it seems.
Tl;dr I would rather replace pagle with rag, but it depends on how highly you value pagle. Kobold has more synergy with your deck than rag, even though he is sheer power and the former seems unimpressive.
Thx for the detailed explanation! It's been very helpful
What are your thoughts on lava burst? I got one in a pack and am still building my shammy deck. It seems decent, although the overload of 2 seems to hurt sometimes. Should i just DE it?
@Maboc, Overall, this deck sports massive amounts of removal, and with proper juggling of spell power totems you can remove just about anything in a single turn for very little mana. I do not know which removal cards you are lacking still from your build of this deck, but it may be "ok" to use it as a placeholder for a certain removal spell that you do not own yet. It will not be as effective, but it is not a terrible card.
