Hey Neviilz here and I just hit #3 with Mgrglgrgl !

I've been refining the Anyfin Can Happen OTK (One Turn Kill) since the card came out and finally I feel like I created the most consistent list out there ! This is also probably the hardest competitive paladin deck to play at the moment . Enjoy :)

Goal of the deck : Stall , Sustain , Board Clear , Hit him in the face for a Million.

Matchups :

Paladin

Against Secret and Midrange you always want to mulligan for Equality > Doomsayer > Conc > Pyro. I'd usually also keep Acolyte if I have 2 of the above priority cards. This matchup is really dependant on pulling off an efficient board clear on his Challenger or Boom turn and stalling long enough to make them run out of steam.

Shaman

Against the only relevant shaman deck around , you want to mulligan for Doomsayer > Ooze > Pyro/Eq > Truesilver > Healbot.

Druid

Mulligan for Equality > Aldor > Doomsayer > Acolyte > Truesilver .

Priest

Priest is literally unloseable unless they thoughtsteal Anyfin. Mulligan for Equality > Acolyte > Warleader > Doomsayer.

Try to play doomsayer before turn 5 since it is very likely that it goes off .

Can't they entomb your Warleader / Murkeye ? You usually want to either play your warleader before turn 6 of kill it with Pyro/Eq. You don't care about both warleaders usually so you can play second warleader whenever . You also want to kill all your chargers on the turn they are played.

Warrior

Keep Equality > Acolyte > Truesilver > Ooze . Control Warrior is usually an easy matchup . This is the only matchup you use the First Anyfin as Face Damage and you need to try to maximize damage from the first one so only play it when you have 4+ murlocs dead.

Equality might seem like an awkward keep against CW but the only way you lose to patron is being caught without a board clear on the turn they go off.

Rogue

Keep Equality > Truesilver > Acolyte > Aldor > Doomsayer > Bluegill w/ Warleader (don't keep it without leader).

You need to try to remove their threats early efficiently so you have flexible board clears in your midgame - lategame.

Warlock

Against Handlock / Renolock you want Equality > Acolyte > Aldor > Doomsayer > Pyro/Conc . This is a pretty good matchup since you can easily stall into the late game. It's also pretty straight forward . Try to doomsayer they early game , Murlocs or stall in the midgame and boardclear / combo in the late game.

Zoo on the other hand is a pretty bad matchup since they provide continuous pressure and they can make your board clears pretty inefficient .

Hunter

BlueGill > Doomsayer > Aldor > Truesilver > Ooze > Healbot. I didn't really face any hunters but the Face matchup seems to be a 50/50 whilst against midrange it all depends if you have efficient removal in the midgame. Who plays hunter anyway ? EleGiggle

Mage

Equality > Doomsayer > Truesilver > Pyromancer > Aldor.

Freeze Mage is an insanely hard matchupunless you curve out very well into double Anyfin. "But you have 40 healing". You provide no pressure at all so they can easily make it till their late game . The best way to win is usually the mage playing an Archmage for only 1 or 2 fireballs and you deal with it easily.

 FAQ

Q.Why not play Minibot , Muster , Boom and Tirion in this Paladin deck ? Are you stupid ?

A. I am but that's not the point . I used to run them in previous lists but I eventually cut them and added more removal / sustain in their spot since this deck is mainly a combo deck and doesn't care about board presence.

Q. How is this deck "OTK" if the first Anyfin deals only 22 damage ?

A. First of all 22 is pretty much OTK but that's why you run 2 Copies . You always use the first Anyfin as removal , you don't really need it as face damage unless you're against control warrior. The second anyfin has a minimum of 30 damage 99% of the time.

Q. How do you feel about Grimscal Oracle in the deck for the First Anyfin lethal ?

A. No point in playing a horrible card for the sole purpose of making your first Anyfin lethal if you draw all 7 murlocs.

Q.Don't you have too much card draw in the deck ?

A.You can never have too much card draw in a combo deck if you have enough sustain/removal to make it through your deck.

Q.What are the most flexible slots if I want to try I tech choice of my own ?

A.It would probably be either Ooze or Keeper.

Q.How do you play doomsayer in this deck ? You have 1 Belcher and no Frost Nova !

A. You usually play it early game against aggro/midrange to ruin their curve or get a free 2 drop and incentive into the next turn. Also Solemn combos really well early game with Doomsayer.

Against slower matchups you want to play it either when you're curving out into LoH / Anyfin or after a board clear so you buy a whole turn.
