The most easiest method to beat Victor Nefarius
The whole idea of the deck is to fatigue him taking advantage of his hero power. In order to do this, you must eliminate every single minion he puts on the board, so that he gets his hand full of spells. Be very careful, and do not let any minion of yours live until next turn, because he will empty his hand using spells against your minion.
When you managed to fill his hand with spells, and he burns any card he draws, just pile up armor using your hero power, and do damage with your weapons. Wait to draw all his cards and die because of fatigue. This is the most easiest method i found by now.

As user #kayzersouze stated in comments:
Since Arcane Golems are nerfed and they have no charge ability, it can be a good idea to replace them into Death's Bite. My replacements:
-2 Charge, -2 Arcane Golem, -2 Stonetusk Boar, -1 Bluegill Warrior
+2 Death's Bite, +1 Bash, +1 Brawl, +2 Mortal Strike, +1 Gorehowl
So, I would recommend that, if you are not playing Control Warrior in ranked mode mainly, crafting epics won't worth. Ignore other warrior deck for same encounter and try this.
Time is money note: If you are killing more than 5 minions of him, I suggest you to concede and retry. There will be a fatique race at the end of match, you will need some more health.
Way better than paladin deck, highly recommend this one.
Subbed in some removal cards like Bash, Supercollider, Brawl, Dragonslayer, and Sleep with the Fishes. Removed Boars and upgrades
thanks for the tip! added all of those cards and won first try. also added bring it on
you really won? ive been trying this for hours with no luck. i die by turn 7 or 8 every. single. time.
to anyone still trying to work on this during the rise of shadows expac can say modified baku deck with chef nomi for huge burst at the end so long as you dont get brawled on you will be fine
Ingenious! Perhaps in a slightly questionable way, I mean, is this really how I want to remember my mighty Nefarius? An inept fool just sitting there taking the hits? :D In any case... ingenious! The deck completely broke him. Like Cleod (and possibly others) already mentioned, Bring It On! seemed like a great addition, too.
Big thanks for posting this!
Tried around 6 other decks before I found this one, cheap and worked like a charm first try. Thanks
I did feel a little cheap doing it this way... but it didn't stop me from carrying on ;)
1st try, works like a charm
I don't think this deck is going to work any more. With the recent release of the expansion Rastakhan, there's new warrior spells that ruin this deck that Nefarius can get. Such as Dragon Roar. There's also the one spell that gives him 3 mechs if he has 10 mana crystals (which he always does).
I can confirm this still works, I just completed it after about 5 tries with a few extra board clears I had.
It's definitely a one-in-a-million deck now. About to give up after hours upon hours of not even coming close.
Pro-tip: When he casts Dead Man's Hand asdlkdjf;alksdflk;jjasdfoiuawelk;jasdfasdf
Just won win this deck. A Dr. Boom's Scheme together with Bring It On! did the trick
This deck works well. Fatigued him and played it safe. Did it on my 2nd attempt =D
you gotta be fucking kidding right? this is the most utter trash deck ive tried so far. there is no way this actually works because he just shits out 3 4 minions a turn. you cant possibly keep up.
I think the AI has been updated, he will dump spells against your face now, effectively making the deck useless.
Edit: nvm, I didn't understand the deck. So he will fill up his hand with useless spells, you still have to wait out the useful ones. They have about 16 dmg guaranteed, so I would recommend a Bring It On!
Fourth try :-)
Finally succeeded on my 14th try. I have to say that this was an extremely frustrating experience because it was based entirely on RNG -- and not even on my own RNG, like needing a certain card in my opening hand, but the boss's RNG.
Works as advertised :)
I modified this awesome deck idea into a standard Baku deck with odd-cost armor, control, charge/rush, and weapon cards, and I'm almost ashamed at how easy it was. I think at one point I had about 80 armor, just sitting there waiting for him to die.
