Why Sir Finley Mrrgglton ? Because steady shot isnt as strong/necessary in midrange hunter as it is in face hunter especially considering the currently very aggressive meta (shamans/paladins/aggro druids).

How to Finley ?

vs aggro:

Two options depending on the stage of the game

A. Ping-heroability in the early game to fight for board (druid/mage never pick rogue if you can avoid it because it completely denies Eaglehorn Bow value )

B. Heal/Armor up in the late game as you have more board presence usually and just want to heal/armor out of burst ranges

vs control (priest/warrior):

Choosing Lifetap is game winning. Hunter with never ending ressources?Yeah just concede, traveler ! (Ping abilites like mage/druid can be decent as well and probably outvalue steady shot here too !)

!Finley´s little advice : Dont forget playing Mrrgglton resets your heropower so you can use it twice on the same turn (to find lethal for example)!

Overall Finley is just amazing to play with and opens up interesting ways to approach your games!

Why no Snake Trap?

From a value/synergy perspective Snake Trap fits really nicely in the deck considering Knife Juggler and Houndmaster, so why the fuck do I not play it ? Basically because its performance wasnt as good as I expected -> Faceshaman just ignored the Trap (SMOrc face me no stoopid), Secretpaladin and druids just ignored it and then procced it with Consecration or Swipe->  Guess what ? Everybody knew that I was playing Snake Trap in this deck because everybody has that idea when they see midrange hunter. Explosive Trap won me games just because people played into it not expecting the trap !

Traps are the very flexible deckslot for the hunter class and I would play whatever suits the meta best or whatever is not anticipated by the most players. As this decks grews in popularity I would even consider playing Snake Trap again because everybody knows I dont play it ....I think you guys got the idea. Hope this answer helps :)

Mulligan:

VS aggro:

Tier 1: Sir Finley Mrrgglton,Mad Scientist,Haunted Creeper

Tier 2:  Knife Juggler,King's Elekk,Quick Shot (increases in value vs druid to kill Darnassus Aspirant)

If you face decks that flood board heavily (paladin/zoo/etc.) keeping Unleash the Hounds and even Explosive Trap is recommanded !

vs midrange/ctrl:

Curving out is never bad and basically what you should aim for in every midrange build but vs slower type of decks keeping 3 drops like Animal Companion,Eaglehorn Bow is fine. 

Anyway, you have so many 2 drops in your deck you should almost never miss the important turn 2. Even playing a secret can be ok. (Bear Trap is a decent turn 2 play).

Thoughts/Progression:

I think this deck has great potential. I havent played too much this season and checked in at 79# Legend EU on day 9 (Proof: http://i.imgur.com/NRLB4yz.png). As someone who reached 1# EU with Hybrid hunter in a previous season  I think this build is pretty strong and I am curious to see how the climb will go on for me.

Update: Streak is still on (18-0) currently being 25# EU ! 

 Update: 

My personal streak ended at 18 wins feelsbadman. Currently 21-1 with the deck being 19# EU + ThuFull (italien proplayer OPopie) used the deck to get 16# EU as well !
