This deck let me beat Heroic Lord Slitherspear on my first attempt.
Starting Hand
Frost Nova, Summoning Stone, and Saboteur are recommended to keep. Zombie Chow or Elven Archer aren't bad either.
Strategy
The goal is to survive until you can play Kel'Thuzad and Mirror Image together. The following turn, drop Sludge Belcher and/or Sen'jin Shieldmasta and I can basically guarantee that Slitherspear will give up on attacking you. Just to play it safe though, use Cone of Cold and Polymorph on the larger minions but do not kill them. If he has a full board, he will not be able to play larger minions to break through the taunts.
Playing Saboteur on turn 3 or 4 is highly recommended.
Got super lucky my first try and got to put a Senjin on an empty board turn 5.
Turn 6 blizzard. Turn 7 frost nova. Turn 8 Kel'thuzad.
Kel + Senjin caught him scared. GG. Thanks.
Thanks for the deck! Basically, he wont attack you or any of your minions as long as your KT has at more health than he can do to it. Slitherspear has 3 of those "deal 2 damage to all enemy creatures" and 2 frost shocks. Keep count of the amount of minion damage he can do and ensure that your KT doesnt drop below that in the end game.
u just have to manage and survive until kelthuzad is on board with a taunt minion.Only this work for me.
I made a few changes and been able to beat this heroic: 2xArcane Missiles -> 2xLoot Hoarder, Elven Archer -> Annoy-o-Tron, Saboteur -> Blizzard.
Ty for sharing.
Summoning Stone + Flamestrike gave me an Acidmaw. That mixed with ping cleared everything! :D
after summon Kel'Thuzad and Mirror Image i had bug and he never attack i just finish the game xD
Yup. Unless the boss has hard removal, he won't attack for the rest of the game. Same goes for just about every other boss.
Excellent budget deck! Unfortunately relies on RNG a lot, but eventually gets the job done nonetheless. Thanks!
