Confirming what Praise_YoggSaron said. If you have a taunt on the field even if you have Kel'Thuzard the Boss will still kill the taunt and either go straight for face or if he has enough on the field he'll also take out Kel'Thuzard. Just happened to me. I had Deathlord out with increased health and Kel'Thuzard as well as several other small taunts. He took them all out with ease. Either they've fixed the priority or the people who won with this deck got incredibly lucky.

July 1st, 2016. This deck still works. Got it in the 5th try. The deck is solid, just remove things until you drop cheap taunt + KT. 

Also dont try to BM the boss, I almost lost because of it LOL

This will take you a couple tries as this deck, like many others, this has an overabundance of spells which means 1 bad opening hand of 2+ spells and you're shit outta luck. Another thing to worry about is Deathlord RNG, there is a good chance he will summon a minion with a high amount of attack and taunt. This encounter also has a chance of dropping a Frost Giant as  well as a 2 crystal 2/2 deal 2 damage to all enemy minions which means if you play an unbuffed minion it will die the next turn. Any minion you play has a high chance of getting killed the next turn this AI is no joke, even Lightwells with 0 attack WILL get focused down immediately. I'm about 10 encounters in and I haven't even got to play KT. Even though this is one of the few decks that doesn't require Doomsayer I had a miserable experience with it and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Deck worked for me it took a few tries to get the right hand but all in all solid.

I subbed a few cards though.

I used 2 Power Word: Shield instead of one of each shield

I also replaced the 2 Dark Cultist with 2 Target Dummy so I could get KT and my taunt minion out on turn 8.

First Deathlord 15 cards into my deck on 6th attempt.... SeemsGood

Everything worked like a charm, reached turn 10 to have a taunt ready and bang ... KT didn't work. My minions all dead and KT didn't ressurect any. It felt like the good old days playing WoW on private servers :)) GJ Blizz. Nice fail. Anyway, the deck works great. The only thing I need to replace is KT, that got somehow "fixed"  by some Blizz "genius" and didn't do anything for me in two attempts. I'll try without it, hoping that I will get my kill sooner than turn 10. Thank you for the deck ! +1

LE: 4th try I had to buff twice a Lightwell to 14/28, the mobs ignored it completely. I pushed some taunts to avoid the face damage. Done. Thank you so very much !!!

Jesus, Thank you for making this, I have looked all over and finally have found a deck that worked against him. It was a ridiculous and stupid heroic to face. You are awesome!

Let me write a mulligan guide:

- Never mulligan out Kel'Thuzad - always keep.

- Keep Shieldbearer, Lightwell and Deathlord: never Annoy-o-Tron. This is simply because Annoy-o-Tron only has 2 health, and hence won't get you much (if any) Lightwell value. If you have both Deathlord and Lightwell, feel free to keep Northshire Cleric.

- Never keep any of your spells, ever. Doesn't work. If you draw Silence or Shadow Word: Death or Light of the Naaru or Holy Nova or Lightbomb good for you, but never keep in opening hand.

That's all. This deck is ridiculously easy to win with. If you have double Lightwell and a Deathlord you can literally win just by spamming his face in, no Kel'Thuzad needed.

Buffed Taunts

I just spent 15 minutes trying to remember my login just to thank you for this. I've tried multiple self-made decks, then a rogue mill deck, then a Paladin deck before stumbling onto this one. First try, turn 7 win.
