Great deck, I won on my first try, but I have to say I got very lucky with my draws, I drew both my Explosive Traps and Unleash the Hounds early on in the game plus a Hungry Crab and other good cards like Powershot so I pretty much drew the equivalent of a royal flush with this one so yea great deck if you get a good/lucky draw and you make good trades like never letting his Murloc Tidecallers get out of control!

Yeah good deck, but as others have said, Scavenging Hyena is a must and Mana Wraith works nice to slow him down as well.

***EDIT - On second thought after seeing people's comments it's probably better to keep both Scientists and drop 2 Argent Horseriders and a third card (maybe 1 Animal Companion or even the second Abusive) and add +2 Mana Wraiths. So with: Dreadscale, 2 Hyenas, 2 Mana Wraiths and the rest of the original deck you are gtg.

Dreadscale is the MVP here....along with Explosive Trap and Powershot. My changes:

-1 Abusive
-1 Haunted Creeper
-1 Mad Scientist

+ 1 Dreadscale
+ 2 Scavenging Hyena

I got out a Hungry Crab on Turn 2 that killed his Tidecaller and was a 3/4, followed up by a Powershot to clear his new board so I thought I basically had the game won at that point, but Giantfin pretty much "hacked" from there and played the "Bring back 5 Murlocs that died" card....not once or twice, but three turns in a row! He took me down to 13 health in an instant, but I dropped Dreadscale and managed to clear everything while also dropping a Hyena that got buffed when my Crab died, plus my Scientist traded and the Explosive Trap mopped up.

Mulligan hard for: Dreadscale, Hungry Crab, Mad Scientist, Powershot (If you have your Explosive Trap but no Scientist you may want to keep the trap, especially since I cut a Scientist).

I would reccomend actually adding in two mana wraith's the biggest power this guy has is the low cost and the draw power he has. Without the seemingly endless supply of the 0 cost baby murlocs his deck is slowed down hard and even though it hurts you a bit. it  hurts him a lot more. Reccomend the tidecallers if you have them and zombie chows for early game control.

Just won by adding in 2 Mana Wraith in place of the 2 Abusive Sergeant. Only managed to draw one, but it was the MVP.

very nice deck, i tried the warr deck and lost about 20 games before giving up, got it 3rd try with this one, i strongly suggest dreadscale tho if you have him but I got it without drawing it.(took out an animal companion)

Thank you for this.  I was having trouble and this worked beautifully.  I've shared the link with others.  Everyone else suggested freeze mage, this was more fun.

hmm just saying you CANT have 2 dreadscale ever in a deck its a legend... lol

Scavenging Hyena is a must. Replaced the Argent Horseriders with Hyenas and won immediately.

I'd suggest adding Scavenging Hyena which will sometimes grant you lethal before you run out of cards.

 I failed with some Freeze Mage Decks, but this one works perfect, Thanks a lot!

Great deck with a win on the first duel, but it has occurred to me...

Would a Murloc deck work well too, since your murloc minions gain buffs from their minions?

Tried it, Seems even if you were to get board lead he would come back and crush you.
